Harbinger of Spring
For my birthday at the beginning of December, I got from a good friend an Advent calendar, equipped with perfumery items, as a gift. As it turned out, a very nice gift with many articles, which quite inspire to buy the original size.
With "Paradiso" by Roberto Cavalli this has already happened and the 75 ml bottle adorns my dresser (slowly there is no more room for new perfumes and I have to grow ;-))

Paradiso lives up to its name; I was immediately thrilled when opening the miniature bottle of the fresh, floral scent that blows towards you.
Mandarin and citrus determine the top note and also the further course is wonderfully delicate and refreshing. A slight sweetness resonates, but remains discreetly in the background. Overall, very fine.
A sympathy bomb- perfect in all situations, whether in the office or in leisure.
Even the color of the perfume fits; golden-yellow like a warm spring day, you stroll relaxed through a pedestrian zone, stroll through small shops, go for a coffee, eat a snack. Later, perhaps, to the cinema and then for a nightcap in the bar.
All "normal" things that will eventually be possible again carefree.
Until then, it is called through and restrained.
At this point I have to get sentimental for a moment and wish everyone here on Parfumo that this year will like better than the last. Remains confident and above all HEALTHY!

After weeks of wearing rather heavy perfumes, Paradiso is a welcome change. But the fragrance will unfold best in warmer temperatures.
Also, it is very suitable for days when you absolutely do not know what fragrance to wear.
In addition, you get a heavy, valuable bottle and a decent durability and sillage.
The opposite of 0815.

Conclusion:
A very nice, floral-fresh clean fragrance- lighthearted and universally applicable.
Advent calendar thanks :-)

Dewy fresh jump into the 90s
I have known L'Eau d'Issey for a long time "by sight", the bottle has been a regular in the perfumery for many years and there are already several flankers.
But I never really got to grips with it, and had it only removed and fresh in my mind.

Then a few weeks ago a colleague had put it on, with hot 35 degrees and potzblitz ... I was quasi shock in love with this smell! Since my colleague is a multi-sprayer and always puts on a lot in between, I could already see that it was L'Eau d'Issey and only asked her again about the execution... it was the eau de toilette.

For me, L'Eau d'Issey is like a leap back in time to the 90s and yet timeless and modern.
A dewy, green-herbal fragrance, floral and almost metallic. Undercooled. Reminiscent of Eternity, but much fresher and lighter. Like a moss landscape covered in dew.
Most beautiful in spring and now in late summer, when it slowly gets cooler; but also at very hot temperatures, as my colleague has shown.

Even though the market is flooded with aquatic-floral-fresh scents, L'Eau d'Issey is a representative with recognition value and has been around for a long time.
It reminds me of my childhood, this cool freshness is, I think, typical for the 90s.
Even though many outfits and hairstyles from the past were to be run away from, there was a timeless style that still fits today and which in the past could certainly be emphasized with perfumes like L'Eau d'Issey. As an example: Lady Di in casual clothes;-)

I finally bought it for my colleague and now I like to wear it myself. A pleasant, timeless fragrance with good durability and radiance. Perfect for work and leisure time and for all occasions where you want to feel fresh and cared for all around.
A higher dosage cannot hurt. Beautiful bottle, milky and elegant.

The fragrance is really fine, because it is so timeless and can be worn on many occasions, even if it is a little stepmotherly treated here at Parfumo.
In any case my recommendation to all 90s fans who want to revel in old times or those who are looking for THE perfect office clean scent;-)

Do you know the land where the lemons bloom?
A balmy summer evening with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and Vesuvius; the last rays of sunshine are reflected in the horizon and the day quietly fades away, leaving a pleasant feeling of decreasing heat and a cool pinch of lightness.
Imagine this moment wrapped in a fresh, balsamic cloud of lemons, orange and fine spices...

Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi has been my absolute summer favourite for two years and he will remain so. As many have already stated in the previous comments, I also think that you can't create a citrus scent more perfect than this.
An expressive unisex scent that is equally good on both sexes and wraps the wearer in a summery fresh and spicy aura.
I can smell the lemons and basil most clearly.
Mandarino di Amalfi is perfect for hot, midsummer temperatures - a fragrance that practically hisses when sprayed on and lets you breathe a sigh of relief. At the same time, however, it is very extraordinary and with "Wumms".
Whether work, leisure, sports or going out is irrelevant - this perfume is from 25 degrees just perfect for all occasions.

Even in winter I sometimes spray it on as a reminder of the warm season and when the heavy, sweet perfumes get too much for me.

For a summer scent, the durability and radiance is good with small smears.
In order to develop the full effect I dose it already very generously and that hurts unfortunately, if one thinks of the price league. This TF is by far the most expensive perfume in my collection.
In the EdP version, it already leaves a dented wallet, but I admit, for the perfect citrus-italy-flavored scent, I'll take that on board.
With the EdT I have concerns that it would be cheaper, but the intensity is disappointing.
The bottle is a dream, azure blue, stylish and heavy. Luxury and a highlight in every collection.

I will spend the current dog days with my "Tommy" before he goes into hibernation. Next year a new bottle is due anyway and that means for Tom Ford
"Fun costs".....

Narciso Summer Deluxe
For me, there are two different types of summer fragrances - the fresh and tangy ones that awaken the spirits in hot temperatures and have a similar effect to a cool, fizzy drink... best in the citrus or orange direction with a blue, yellow or green bottle... i'm thinking of TF Mandarino di Amalfi or the Hermès -Jardin versions; perfumes that go in the "light blue" direction are also part of that for me.
Clean, pure fragrances that you can put on generously and that always fit in the summer, even in hot, humid temperatures.

Narciso (Eau de Parfum Ambrée) clearly belongs to the second type of summer perfume - and for me, these are fragrances that literally scream for summer and outdoors, but do not have a refreshing effect, but rather spread a powdery-warm, tipsy feeling
Quasi a "Jil Sander Sun Feeling" :-)
These fragrances then fit more into August or late summer- to lush sunflowers and evenings on the terrace or in the restaurant with the feeling in the back of the head that the season is not too long and soon the autumn will move in.

Narciso (Eau de Parfum Ambrée) comes along in a good mood, warm, powdery; vanilla resonates and the tipsy summery will be thanks to frangipani.
As for individual fragrance notes, but I have never been an expert in describing...
I am an absolute NR fan and this fragrance is also wonderful and has the typical Narciso musk DNA.
Even if everything is different this summer than before (and we are still doing well here in DE), this Narciso is perfect here to treat yourself to a relaxed, balmy summer evening outside with good food and a glass of wine.
For work, it is also well suited, by the vanilla also well into the fall.
No perfume, which meets one at every corner.

With the durability and charisma I am very satisfied; have only one filling, but it comes with my peers extremely well.
The flacon lands 100%, but that was so far with everything NRs so, purisitisch and noble.

Here Narciso Rodriguez has dared something new; a lush and sedate vanilla-musk summer fragrance that fits perfectly into the current season and also into the fall and as a mood lifter into the winter.
For me, a bull's eye, and that even though I'm not a summer fan and actually prefer cooler temperatures.... maybe that's why I like him so well;)

Escada DNA provides distraction
Of course, there are more important issues than perfumes right now... since about 2 weeks all of our lives are not what they were before, contact block, a completely new everyday life, a lot of suffering and misery all over the world; for me personally the Corona crisis is by far the most extreme experience I have had so far.

For the Saturday shopping, which has put me under a lot of pressure due to the current situation (where am I going?, what do I need?, what gloves do I wear? etc.) I put Escada Flor de Sol on - the specimen has been lying in the glass bowl in the hallway for a while. I am a total fan of all Escada Especially variations, all fragrances of this series have this simple, pleasant freshness and so it is with this one. The typical Escada-DNA comes through.

A light-hearted, fresh, sweet-floral perfume, a good mood fragrance, which one can really tolerate at the moment. Good shelf life and silage, a moderate bottle, but never mind.
No special fragrance, but pleasing and refreshing. I smell cucumber, no trace of tequila, that's good

And just the simple things are just very beautiful... unimportant but they create a certain normality.

Stay healthy!
