My star in the fishing sky
About 10 years ago, when I slowly mutated into a perfume junkie, I suffered a real fishing trauma...
I remember it was summer and we went on a school trip to Frankfurt - and of course we girls stormed the turquoise giant and sprayed and tested wildly (embarrassing;-)).
I noticed a large, blue bottle; according to the colour a fresh summer scent and I immediately missed 2 generous splashes - the people who sat next to me in the theatre afterwards may have hopefully forgiven me....

So much for the "Ur-Angel", which I found terrible at the time and which almost stuck my nose.
I felt 10 days I exhaled this obtrusive, sticky artificial smell, which just disgusted me.
There were also never moments in which I found him pleasant in another person - when I once noticed him somewhere, then only in women I could not stand ;.)
So Angel EdP and I are at war... also his various flankers could never knock me off my stool.
With all due respect, but the woman who can wear Angel from 1992 in style has yet to be invented;-)
At least my nose.

So, but now to the new EdT.
To all who have hated Angel so far- TEST it!
At the beginning very powerful and sweet, the fragrance develops into a warm cuddly perfume for cold days.
The DNA of his big sister is still present, but significantly weakened.
I once had a nice scented candle, which reminds me of the EdT - it lulls you in and is clearly perceived by others, but the annoying component has disappeared.
In the beginning there is some cotton candy, but it quickly gives way to lower notes.
It reminds a little of Wish, but is finer.

As with all other Mugler fragrances, the shelf life and sillage are bombastic...
Once it's sprayed on, you can't get rid of it that fast. A big plus for me.
The bottle is also a piece of jewellery.

Angel EdT may be a "castrated" version of the original, but it's much more pleasant for everyday use and the people around its wearer.
Sometimes less is just more.

Pure Perfect
As a confirmed NR lover, and this for many years now, I was naturally also curious about Pure Musc, because as soon as new "Narcisos" appear, my heart beats faster and I must go to test at the next opportunity. And the good thing is that I never get disappointed :-)

And I just gotta say,
There is no other perfume brand that can convince me with every single fragrance. Even with well-known perfume manufacturers, there are sometimes lukewarm waters that you could easily do without.
Narciso Rodriguez, on the other hand, has a straight track - an unmistakable Narciso DNA meanders through all the lines and if you like this fragrance of musk, flowers and clear, powdery freshness, it's perfect.
As perfect as Pure Musc - therefore also the title... but now more about the scent:

Pure Musc can be imagined as a perfume that is best worn during the transition between winter and spring. Baptismally fresh musk paired with light flowers and a creamy ground envelops you in a well-groomed, powdery cloud, very reserved and present at the same time.
Pure Musc reminds me a lot of Musc Collection. Those who know this also know what they have to imagine under the new.
A bright, clear and yet pleasantly cuddly fragrance - perfect for the office or important appointments.
Understatement and seriousness can be embodied very well with Pure Musc.

I sprayed Pure Musc on at noon today and can still see it well, but I wasn't exactly thrifty either. Compared to other NR fragrances, it is somewhat more reserved. The shelf life and Sillage fit however to the smell; here everything is held beautifully dezent; like a precious body oil.

The bottle is also top class once again. Typical Narciso and the colours fit perfectly.
Wins very noble and high quality.
The brand has also chosen the release date very cleverly - Pure Musc fits at minus temperatures, but I think it will have the best effect in spring

Narciso Rodriguez can go on like this; the fragrances are all direct hits and stand out from the sweet and squeaky new releases. Discreet, neat, straight.

L'Or Vol. 2
I did some browsing once. Here is an excerpt from my commentary on L'Or 2010 from 14.10.2013.
It's been a while, but...
Still 100% up to date and transferable to the newly interpreted L'Or.

Elegant
Female
Madamig-
Strong and discreet at the same time
Luxury
Gold
Sea of flowers
Parfumig
Powder dream
Light Oriental
Round!
Totally!!
Perfect!!!!

Since my 2010 version is approaching its bittersweet emptying and I became the victim of an unreasonable, acute rush to buy last week, which has unfortunately clouded my mind and the computer center of my brain, I am now proud owner of Dior J'adore L'Or 2017.
And I'm really proud :-)
Because as a perfumer you often get scents - some do it for you, you want to wear them all the time; others are only used sporadically, others are too fleeting and you wear them very rarely

At L'Or, on the other hand, you immediately feel like you're wearing a genuine, outstanding perfume - a perfume that envelops you in a luxurious cloud of flowers, powder and subtle sweetness.
A scent for the very big appearance; and at the same time too bad to wear it so rarely.
An overwhelming Sillage and extremely good durability give it the final touch.
L'Or is a very strong, expressive perfume, which never crosses the border to the obtrusive. 2 sprayers are sufficient and it gives the wearer a neat, stylish aura.
The best effect unfolds in autumn and winter.

I can't see a clear difference to the 2010 version; Dior remains faithful to him and adds a few fresh nuances, if any, to it.
Maybe I think that because I read the comments and statements where the freshness was mentioned.

My conclusion:
A stunning, beautiful fragrance, warm, elegant, stylish and simply perfect.
For me the completely successful, reinterpreted version of one of the best perfumes ever.

Powder, flowers and soft leather
I would never have come to Loewe women's fragrances without a sample of my online perfumery PD.
Never heard of the brand before - and yet it turned out to be a little secret tip and candidate for my wish list.

A flowery-powdery-smooth scent, slightly acidic and for me also a hint of fresh...for the first time I notice a pleasant leather note in a perfume. This does not strike with the club, but sneaks through slowly and gives the smell the certain extra. In the appropriate situation, the fragrance can be quite seductive.

There is nothing against a higher dosage, because "Aura Magnética" is rather reserved. The scent is nevertheless well perceptible and wraps you in a pleasant little cloud of flowers, powder and leather.
I wouldn't call it 0815 perfume either; you rarely smell something similar for that.

Although I have recently equipped my perfume collection with autumn/winter scents, this one is very appealing to me. A very feminine, well-groomed perfume with an all around well-groomed but nevertheless exciting charisma. He made me curious about other fragrances from Loewe.

I appreciate it when you can wear fragrances anytime and anywhere, regardless of season, mood or intention. Spray on and feel good.
"Aura Magnética" is such a fragrance - my nose at least hangs magnetically on my wrist and the sample will certainly soon be replaced by an original bottle.

Summer, sun, beach, green palms and monstera, flowering cacti and cocktails with a huge portion of easy Life= ARIZONA
Do you know the song "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa? Somehow this has been my favourite summer hit for a few weeks now and anyone who watches the video and sniffs at "Arizona" at the same time knows what I mean...
The summer trend, which has existed for a few years now, of providing every purchasable item with a pattern of palm trees, monstera leaves, pineapples, cacti, flamingos, elephants or colourful blossoms, is olfactorically recorded in "Arizona"
And I have to admit that I have fallen mercilessly into this trend;-)
These patterns give a light-hearted, fresh, summery and youthful feeling to come across without being chic.

Now for the fragrance:
Arizona starts with a sweet but extraordinary cactus aloe note, somehow fresh and strongly based on Olympea by Paco Rabanne, which is one of my favorites.
But it is lighter and envelops you in a green-sweet feel-good cloud, which lasts for a few hours with proper dosage.
In addition to the Olympea note, there is a subtle orange breeze that gives you a fresh kick.
I wouldn't call Arizona the best new release 2018 or top fragrance, but there is a lot missing,
but it conveys a relaxed feeling.

Arizona is "Easy-Life" - spray, take a deep breath and off you go, whether at work, on the weekend or just on the couch. This year I found my ultimate summer perfume in "Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi"; it made my life at 35 degrees a lot easier:-)
Arizona, on the other hand, I could well imagine in late summer/autumn - as a little reminder of the shimmering heat or in winter as an "in-between-smell".
And "in-between scents" can also grow on your heart:-)

So go ahead and test and fog in.
Arizona is hyped, not a completely new fragrance, but one that makes you feel good and meets the spirit of the times. And since I have the next two weeks still vacation and guaranteed times in the shop with the big D come, it will also stand soon on my chest of drawers. I know myself after all;)
