Mom, my queen.
I would like to say that my fragrance journey began with my mother. But she was never particularly interested in perfume! She always smelled great, but it was mostly fragrances that she got as gifts from my sister and me, or her sister-in-law! One of them was "Eve | Jil Sander". It was my favorite on my mom until a few weeks ago.

I simply sprayed "Queen of Silk | Creed" on her neck without warning. She was a little startled. But the shock was immediately forgotten. She 'floated' her head back and forth to get that fine, silky breeze every now and then! I asked her what she could smell, what she could sense. And her answer was "Wow! What a great thing! It smells like me! Right? It smells like me!". And I had to laugh a little because that's exactly how I see it:
This fragrance has a wonderful, warm and maternal aura. Something sheltering, protective. At the same time, something dark and sexy. Like a woman in a purple silk negligee.
I smell a patchouli mist, but not wet and earthy, just warm and enveloping. Almost fluffy. Light fruity accents swirl around. Fortunately, it smells like this for a very long time.
I'm very happy with it until we get to the base. And so is my mom!
The base is woody and warm. Rather reserved and introverted.
You can also wear it just for yourself.
With a few more sprays, it becomes loud and sexy.
I would recommend it for people who like woody, warm fragrances. Nothing squeaky, colorful or synthetic.
My mom fragrance.... But I love it too. And I find it very suitable even without children ;)

My work colleague has fallen in love!
As always, I tested this beauty with a spray on my arm. Nice, but somehow nothing new. For me, it smelled like fresh laundry from second 1. Perhaps a little more delicate and flowery than the other laundry candidates.
My husband saw it differently! He looked at me in horror just a few seconds after testing it and said "You smell like toilet cleaner!". That shocked me a little. Funnily enough, I have also read this statement here from other ladies who have had the same experience with their partners

A few days after I tried it, the hype started here and on YouTube. I could no longer avoid this fragrance! Tilia here, Tila there. Everyone loved it. I had to give it a second chance!
Without further ado, I sprayed it on the next day for work. Three sprays. I smelled myself the whole time. But I only smelled flowery, fresh laundry.
At some point, my colleague ran after me! She's around 50 and has next to nothing to do with perfume. Every now and then she wears "Pour Femme (Eau de Parfum) | Lacoste" or "Versense | Versace". But always very subtle. That day she held me close and said "Anna, what a beautiful scent you have on today! Everything smells like you here! It's beautiful! Could I try it on myself?". I really thought I wasn't listening properly. I was incredibly pleased that she asked me that! Incidentally, she found the fragrance "very perfumey. I don't smell fresh laundry!"
The next day, I brought her the bottled fragrance
And again the next day she wore the fragrance! And what can I say - our whole pharmacy smelled of Tilia! It was magical. Now I knew what she liked so much. A fluffy cloud of lime.
I asked her if she liked it on herself and her answer was a bang "I ordered it yesterday! 115€, my husband doesn't even need to know that. This is my fragrance. That's exactly how I want to smell!"
By the way, she asked me to keep the bottle for the weekend because she had to go to a party. How wonderful!
It's all over for her and I'm incredibly happy ️

My favorite scent for insults
After the completely contrasting
"Infusion d'Iris (Eau de Parfum) (2015) | Prada", "Rose Jam (Body Spray) | Lush / Cosmetics To Go" was the fragrance that I wore like a signature for a very, very long time. And I'll say this much: it's really unsuitable for that. I would like to share some of the comments here.

I fell in love with Rose Jam from the first spray. My fragrance. Loud, provocative, striking, insane sillage. But I didn't realize it at the time. It was about 8 or 9 years ago. I was in my mid/late 20s and ready for adventures every weekend. So I grabbed a "bottle" on Friday evening, Saturday evening too. Always, actually. 4, 5 thick sprays all over me. Far too much, never mind. And the magic started immediately: boiled rose syrup, thick and sticky. With a few dashes of lemon. And somehow also something mystical. The rose here is neither stale, nor powdery, nor light. Simply different. Sweet! But not childishly sweet. And I actually notice the lemon all the time. It doesn't make the whole thing too extreme. It always brightens things up.
I don't perceive a great fragrance progression.

Unfortunately, I had to expect comments from day 1. It started at work. I walk past my boss, a short time later he sniffs the air and says "What's that? What's that smell? Does it smell like booze?"... No, it doesn't smell. It smells like me. Like my beloved Rose Jam.

Saturday evening. I walk into a friend's house. "My God, Anna, is that you again? It could only be you!"

Winterberg. Rock cellar. Small, loud, dark. Through the swinging door and into the fun. A few minutes later, the waiter comes up to our group: "Since you've been here, everything smells very strongly of perfume!"

Supermarket. Sweets shelf. A lady and I are browsing between the Haribo bags. "Is that you, or is there an open bag here?"

Appointment with my parents. My father: "Child!!! Phew, way too much!"

At home. My husband: "My God, the whole house smells like the Lush stuff!"

Gin evening at my house. A friend gives me a big hug as she greets me and says to me hours later "I still smell like you".

..... And these are all just the comments that I remember 1:1. It's definitely the fragrance I'm ALWAYS asked about.

Well, that's Rose Jam. I don't care what you think, I love it. Loud, shrill, unusual and beautiful. I've since swapped the body spray for the perfume so that I can wear perfume 'in peace' ;)

Work and vacation in liquid form
Oh, a fragrance without any back and forth, without any frills. A clear line; a common thread? Absolutely. However, the clear line is rather matt and the red thread consists more of brown tones. Light brown, dark brown, shiny streaks. That's a rough first impression.

The start catapults me into work. Work? Yes, actually, and it's not bad at all. More precisely, it catapults me into the "dust room". The tea room. I work passionately in a pharmacy. I often make Swedish herbs there. I weigh out 0.2g of saffron - the star of the recipe. Not just because of the price. Bright orange and dark red threads in the small, white tin. Once opened, this super characteristic fragrance unfolds. Everyone knows it. This is exactly how Cappadocia smells for about 2 minutes. Authentic, dry, cool saffron. Breathe, close your eyes. Collect impressions.
You can switch off briefly when making tea. Thanks to the different smells, it's a mini vacation for the mind. A short trip to Cappadocia? With pleasure. But then it's better to drink tea there instead of making it.
After this short saffron trip to the pharmacy, it's time for a vacation for the head, for the senses. What follows is a smooth symphony of soft, fluffy and buttery notes. I'm really addicted to this fantastic base. Vanilla and incense set the tone in my eyes. The two harmonize in perfect symbiosis. Accompanied by the most beautiful, creamy sandalwood. Cozy and sexy at the same time. A tribute to tranquillity, to enjoyment, to perception. To pause for a moment. I have rarely had such a calm and balanced fragrance under my nose. Everything is just right here. Nothing is too much and nothing is too little. I love it. It makes me relax and dream. I would like to visit this place, which was unknown to me until now. It feels a bit like I was there for a short time! I wish I had.

A small sentence about the longevity and sillage: this treasure easily lasts 8 or 9 hours on me and radiates a present but delicate fragrance. This is also just right for me.

A little anecdote at the end: I asked my husband "what do you think of when you hear Cappadocia?" He didn't even look at me and said "Cappuccino!"..... Well, we've sorted that out too!

Cappadocia, here I come!

Shower party or gardening?
... Yes, everyone has to decide that for themselves. The beginning doesn't make it easy!
The fragrance starts very promisingly. This green acidity from the tomato leaf is really brilliant here and I like it much better than in "Signature / Aedes de Venustas | Aedes de Venustas". Perhaps also because the raspberry doesn't make it too blatantly authentic. It cushions it somewhat.
After about 15 minutes, however, the raspberry takes over the entire fragrance. The fruit has the effect of a raspberry sherbet. Perhaps comparable to "Pink Molécule 090-09 | Zarkoperfume". Very cheerful, light, youthful and sparkling. Until then, I also like the fragrance very much - even if (attention!): the whole thing seems very feminine. So up to that point, I would have gone for it. Unfortunately, the effervescence and garden theater ends in a very childish sweetness. It reminds me a bit of "Mallow | Sora Dora". And that's a real shame. I would have liked more plant power à la freshly cut tomato stalks!
Well, if you're brave for a short time and then prefer the safe marshmallow board, this is the right place for you.
Have fun testing.
