Blessing in disguise
When I decided to finally give my White Spirit bottling a try this morning, I had both respect and a little trepidation about it after the reviews so far. Voluntarily smell of sweat I did not want to actually... (even if it could have other reasons in the current weather). But the curiosity was stronger...

The first spray went first timidly to the wrist. I could wash that off in an emergency with a lot of scrubbing... Sniffed... Thought about it... Sniffed... So this scent doesn't smell like sweat on my skin (luckily) The tuberose is strong at the beginning... And the arm is grabbed to the side at first.... But that fades quickly. What's left is a beautiful, sensual and gentle but also classy floral scent. The sandalwood still rounds this off perfectly. I also put perfume on my neck and décolleté a good half hour later. The scent wafts around me the whole day. Even now while writing, I have to keep smelling my arm. I like this fragrance (as well as every other tested fragrance from the "Luxury-Reih of JHAG) very much. Luck had. The small drop of bitterness.... The wish list is getting longer again..

Hard to describe(for me)....
I must say in advance that I am not yet so super skilled what the individual fragrance essences recognize concerns. At least with this fragrance I just can not figure out what makes them my nose so incredibly strong, spicy but at the same time exceedingly feminine, warm and sensual. Many here write that the tuberose is very dominant. Hmm... I think it's just the complete and thoroughly complex/high quality blend of everything. Present and with staying power. Used it today around seven, I'm still sniffing it as great as I did this morning...

Against the rain...
Today it is pouring with us like from buckets. Actually, a perfect weather to hole up in bed or on the couch, what delicious to chow down and watch old movies. Unfortunately, I have to work today (on a Saturday :-( )work....

To at least put a little sunshine in my heart, I'm using my sample of Leisure in Paradise for the first time today.

After the first spray, I immediately have the pineapple and a light coconut scent in the nose.... Hmmm... Yummy... A bit like a drinkable cocktail. Relatively quickly, however, this sweet note is masked by the vanilla and a wonderful woody note gives the scent something subtle and sophisticated.

I'm looking forward to using this scent when it gets warm outside. I think when the skin gets warm, the fragrance shines even more....

Met by chance...
I have to start by saying that I haven't been going to perfume shops for a while. Therefore, I'm quite long 'come around' this throw. He is already a few years on the market. But fl... be thanks, I got to know him recently and find him worth a comment on my part.

After spraying on, rises me immediately the currant in the nose. Jui... Intense... Also the pear and iris does not let wait long on my skin.... Hmmm... Very pleasant.

Over time, the scent becomes much softer, but it's still there and present.

Overall, I find the perfume sweet, floral but also somewhat sensual and it lasts almost all day on my skin. Feminine but not too 'ladylike'.

Meanwhile, I bought a small bottle, because the fragrance is good for my everyday life.

It brings back memories...
Maybe one or the other of you still knows the perfume chain Yaska. I think it was bought up by Douglas at some point. But back then, when I was still a teenager and spent hours in this perfumery with my friends in the city, it was always associated with special excitement for us 'chicks'. Observed by the shop assistants partly with suspicion, partly with amusement, we always tried out a lot.... And when we came home we smelled like everything (and bought bath balls like crazy, but that's a completely different memory...) But I was particularly taken with this scent at the time. And I was mighty proud when I had him also at some point my own bottle.

Recently, he was brought by a sample sent along a perfumery again in my presence. Hardly sprayed, the past was there again: fresh, citrusy, clean and a fragrance to feel good but not to stand out big. Absolutely unisex for me.

I think he is also to blame for the fact that I still have an unbroken preference for unisex fragrances. I would buy him in the meantime no longer, for me the durability is too bad. But the sample was a nice trip back to the youth....
