Strange dark beauty
Got a bottling of this beautiful fragrance from a dear perfumer. First I should perhaps mention that I'm actually not a big fan of fragrances with prominent rose.
But I felt my way gradually. So not sprayed and immediately rated. The beginning was a bit bumpy. The fragrance was new and unusual for me and seemed a little too strict and too dark. But I always let considerable time pass until I dared a new attempt.
Finally ... today is the day.
"Zest de Rose" has managed to capture me and I'm ready for a review.

Now, even in the beginning, I notice not only rose, but also a pleasant citrusy freshness. But already the rose combines with the tea and amber, because the top note is only of short duration and passes immediately into the heart note and almost also into the base, becomes more delicate and minimally sweet by the jasmine, which, however, according to my nose can only be present homeopathically, as well as the listed musk. The rose remains very prominent, darkly tart through amber and the tea. Since top note, heart note and base quickly merge into each other, you could almost call it linear.

Conclusion: citrus at the beginning I perceive properly only when I spray generously. The fragrance I find exceptional and beautiful, but would have liked that the freshness would have lasted longer, albeit becoming less. The rose remains dark for me, but now seems friendlier to me, since it has become a good acquaintance and I do not rule out that it becomes more, namely now and then a good friend at my side.

This fragrance deserves time to become familiar with it. Now I find it really nice and it is something I never had before. I keep sniffing it on my wrist. On my skin, however, it quickly becomes close to my body. After all, what remains is very pleasant.

Powdery silk
This fragrance fascinates me...a wonderful perfume.

Delicately sweet and elegant, it lays like a gentle veil on my skin, like powdery silk. Again and again I spray throughout the day...First I wear it on my inner wrists, right and left on my neck, on my shoulders, in the back of my knees, on my back. Today, I am addicted to this perfume. Even my scarf reaches a gentle spray. This scent is not penetratingly sexy, but delicate, even tenderly powdery, soft, feminine, sensual..intense but not overbearing. This is how I want to smell today, all day. Again and again I sniff my wrist.

It has a wonderful pleasant sweetness, at the beginning it has something that reminds me minimally of pencil. But it doesn't bother, on the contrary. Slightly sweet-balsamic-spicy and quite delicately almondy (though no almond is listed) it seems at first. Every ingredient listed is gently added and has a calming effect.
It remains almost linear, which I think is beautiful.

It lasts very well on clothes, on skin it becomes more quickly reserved. Even tonight before sleeping, one last spray lays on my skin...felt like I was in silky bedding, caressed to sleep by the scent.

....Yes, that's how I want it today....

It could have been so beautiful...
Got so excited when I learned that there is a dupe to Coco Mademoiselle in Lidl...Madame Glamour.

But from the beginning: About 14 or 15 years ago I owned the original and was enraptured by the fragrance. Never before had I smelled something more beautiful and such. At that time, I always had only one perfume ...a "one perfume collection" so. At some point, I was very frugal, the bottle was empty and I tried other beautiful perfumes after that. Years passed and I had not remembered the name of Madmoiselle. At some point, this fragrance wafted around my nose in a perfumery. And I knew this was it...searched for years, never quite forgotten. However, my sense of smell was a bit overstrained, from all the "scent sniffing" in the perfumery, and the air was already quite perfumed anyway. I no longer had an opinion... Again, a few years later, so recently, when I read, see above...that Lidl carries a Madmoiselle dupe, I was happy. I sprayed it on in the store and thought it was beautiful and...similar. Lidl doesn't have the same perfume-soaked air as, say, Douglas, which was pleasant. Logical... So a small bottle was bought.

Now I try Madame in between again and again on my skin, but I must conclude: It is not the same fragrance for me, it does not smell like Madmoiselle then. I spray again and again, but the scent always wears thin very quickly and I hardly smell anything after a short time. But I also miss all the depth...not as full, not as elegant, not as warm....too artificial...a rather strange artificial opening even, which didn't suggest as much beauty as I hoped. And there's a mishmash of ingredients that can't be classified. What happened?
I wonder: is Madame Glamour possibly a dupe to a reformulated Mademoiselle? Or has my sense of smell changed? Or my preferences? Do I perceive fragrances differently? Whatever the case. This dupe disappoints me a bit.
But I also want to know: How smells the original today...the EDP and the EDT...the Intense? At least the EDP...has something changed?

Verdict: It's not terrible, but it's not that special a fragrance for me, but it's a fragrance I'll use up in everyday life. I won't wear it with enthusiasm, but it doesn't bother me either. A little nice he is...

After all: I tried it...

Oriental Angel
So I am pleased to be able to write my first comment today.
I almost regretted it to have bought this fragrance. Tested today in the drugstore, found very nice and also purchased cheap. At home, the bottle came still unused in the closet and got on Parfumo in my collection his place. But what I had to read now in the reviews? This fragrance was totally torn apart. How could that be? Had I sniffed too many scents in the store and my nose was leading me around by the nose, so to speak? Eventually, I realized that I had succumbed to a mistake. I had not purchased the EDP, which was so poorly reviewed, but the EDT. So I quickly used my little flaky one for the first time and now I wanted to know. And...I was relieved...very relieved.
This delicate little eau de toilette is like a delicate little angel in the Orient. This fragrance is light and unobtrusive. It smells oriental, yet not heavy at all, really light and delicate, innocent...even unusual for an oriental fragrance. So I can endure it longer without it being or becoming exhausting.
Even the tonka bean I notice after a while is like a delicate something. I perceive at the end a delicate floral warmth with a touch of elegance, which I find very pleasant...for me clearly a feel-good fragrance. It would be important to mention not to try too many other fragrances beforehand. Preferably none before...This fragrance deserves a solo place...from start to finish, to be able to perceive the delicate nuances beautifully. So you oriental angel...keep hovering over me, you can always stay with me.
