Reviewing a 2021 batch that simply skips the top notes, just a hint of ephemeral citruses with a nuance of a capricious shy pineapple missing most of the time and clearly dominated by the woody-mossy notes, and yes you're already and promptly submerged in a rather shy and leashed long lasting drydown, more than 10hours of earthy woody mossy ambiance with some sweetness popping from time to time making the experience more sensual, sensual and very masculine but polarizing, since i received some negative feedbacks from the ladies in a short period of wearing
I like the scent, a pleasant masculine all rounder, but being -like most men- a sucker for pineapple fruity note i feel let down, it hurts me to get more pineapple and projection from the utterly synthetic nose-scratching Club de nuit than from Hacivat
I dont care if its reformulated or not, this is what i have, and it seems that the real -bouncing all the time- Hacivat is gone, all that is left is the shadow player behind his karagoz doll, shy and behind the curtains all the time...

Sweet all the way sweet and warm like Shams, arab word for Sun, sweet with a grain of spices, with a drydown dominated by sandalwood, oud is there very soft and clean you have to look for it, no smoke for me, projection is good longevity is amazing with 8 easy hours with just two sprays, not versatile winter only or religious occasions, a great value for money since I got it for like 9 euros.
If you want an affordable risk-free introduction to oriental fragrances look no further, Oud Al Shams and Franck Olivier oudtouch “ I find them similar but not clones “ are very safe buys
I want to point the fact that I bought the same bottle shown in parfumo but there is no ARD AL Zaafaran label on neither the box nor the bottle, instead in the brown box there’s an arab word “Abir”, seems like the Ard AL Zaafaran leather bottle isn’t the same as this one

Blind bought it based on the good scent and longevity ratings, for a fresh fragrance, in a country with a long summer, thats what i need.
The opening is fresh and fruity you have the Boss DNA right away, its apple for sure but my nose gets mandarin too, i wish the opening lasts more because 1 or 2 hours i get the dry down, a woody base note with a sharp metallic synthetic note that i really hate , and the worst thing is after several days of use my nose catches this note rather quickly from all the beginning making this fragrance really unbearable .

After falling in love with the fresh fruity very masculine smokiness of a presumably Aventus decant that i couldn't verify the authenticity, and due to how high priced the real deal is, i naturally leaned toward having its most famous clone, i thought if i'll have a bit better performance than my decant i'll be blessed, so its a well known largely and positively reviewed clone, what could possibly go wrong?
I blind bought Club de nuit intense man a month ago, never had one before it was a made in France 12/2019 batch, i open, check, every thing is OK , i open the cap heavy sharp edged i barely smell the late dry down of Aventus, i spray the cap , smell and WOOOAH ,
a nose bleeding sharp smell that cuts through the brain to the nausea center, is it the strong lemon mentioned by most of the reviewers ? NO no way ,this sharpness doesn't come from lemon, yes lemon and bergamot are there, but not as strong as i imagined "like Zara Gold"! is it INK may be a Black Ink or even TAR , if someone told me this is Encre Noir "never smelled it" i'would say yes i imagine it like this, but a fresh all rounder fragrance, no way , there is no freshness instead there's a black hole of a cloud that sucks any freshness around, i remember spraying it on my lapels and driving 15min later on 30min trip i nearly suffocated.
Its after around 4-5 hours that i get the Aventus gentle dry down but after sticking my nose at the area
So what went wrong, all those thorough reviews they couldnt all be wrong !
As mentioned by other reviewers unfortunately i think i got a bad batch, i'm really frustrated and disappointed, but this review -as badly written as it is- is for you there : if you look after an Aventus clone or a fresh all rounder scent and cross this 12/2019 batch beware run away, unless you're goth , suffer from severe sinusitis or just looking for an invisible ink
