So, Poison by Christian Dior -Then & Now!
Jesus...what is this?
What have they done to Poison CD??
Nothing but nothing is like what it was.
You can thumb down my review but be sure that you want to do it because I'm saying my truest opinion.
This was my cousin's perfume back in the 80's, I remember how she was smelling and how RICH and BOLD this perfume was.
It was so good!
A year ago she showed me the magical bottle and I smelled it and I went back to my childhood memories.
About an hour ago I went to a perfume shop and I tested some fumes.
I was looking at Poison and I said "let's give it a try".
How disappointed I felt...I put it down and said WHY?
My SA was looking at me.I was very serious and very sad.
I told her "have you got another tester"?
She said, "you are lucky, I have one in a drawer but it may not smell good".
I sprayed this time again to see what is happening with the famous Poison.
Same thing.
Light, watered down like hell and you only smell that "real Poison" aura if you wash your hands.
Not unique, not anything just another destroyed perfume.
You must have smelt the vintage one to know how this bomb beauty was.

Heat Wild Orchid is the perfect summer pick me up perfume.
I feel it like eating a huge ice cream next to the beach.
I don't have to say much about it but really it screams ice cream.
I add Heat Wild Orchid to the gourmands list.

Curious is a perfume that I remember since forever.
As a die hard vintage lover I never knew that one day I will have in my collection this perfume.
This IMHO is a floral aquatic at least on me.
I can feel the magnolia the jasmine and a lil of tuberose.
The pear makes it aquatic and fruity but not too sweet.
It is an elegant perfume and I can imagine myself wearing it all summer.
The longevity is good but I don't mind I have the huge 100ml bottle and I can reapply every 4 hours.
Somewhere I read that a girl wore this for her wedding.
Not a bad idea at all, I find it very good if you like soft florals.

I just received my 125ml bottle yesterday and I'm wonder God I really wonder what there is not to like in a spring floral fresh perfume full of bliss and charm.

I have read many reviews that this is a grunny perfume and some ppl cannot stand it while they are in love with Diorissimo and some other heavy vintage hitters.

I haven't try the vintage Splendor but all I can feel is a magical hyacinth, Lily of the valley and green fresh flowers that when the time pass it becomes a beautiful and elegant happy and lilac coloured perfume a must for a date in a wonderful place outside or a garden party.

I feel so sorry for all those negative votes but I have it on my boudoir that see's the mountain and soon the sea in my summer house that fits perfect also with the place, house, etc and every lit thing.

Thank you Elizabeth Arden for another one gem that I payed so little but I receive so much joy and elegance.

What a wonderful surprise is in this beautiful for me bottle.
You can feel the kumquat and all the fresh fruits and blossoms, cactus also and it is like a fuzzy peachy sparkling champagne.
An everyday/hour one and brings up joy and makes your heart smile!
A simple but not one that someone will not notish.
Easy, breezy, fresh and light!
