... at least for me. I have since recent subscription to Yuniqu and this month came then Herod, Herod place 1 on the Parfumo best list. Of course, I spray it directly on the back of my hand and I'm disappointed. I smell almost nothing.
So two more spritzes on the same spot, the Naxos from the previous month would smell scary strong now, but Herod continues to barely smell.
Of course, you think then first that it is due to your own nose, but a good friend felt the same way. Oddly enough, the shelf life is still good, around the 8h.
After research on several sites, I then came to the conclusion that the quality differences between the batches at Herod are just incredibly strong.
However, I have a rather entrenched opinion on this: as soon as a product in an upscale price range, such strong quality differences, I can never find it "good", regardless of whether I get to smell again a reasonable variant or not.
Similarly with Aventus, if a batch is crappy, please just dump the crap and start over, thanks :)

...but this in lemon pickled, burnt wood leaves an incredible scent trail in the room. Sillage is thus top, durability as one knows the fragrances of Jeremy bombastic...would not be the price. I have ordered only 2ml as a filling and really annoy me about myself that he pleases me...but change one can and would like such impressions yes also not.

In the drydown, however, he unfortunately changed something to the worse as I find, he becomes too fruity and the good wood no longer comes through.

Edit: The wood comes back, but takes a little time ;)

...and yet, somehow, it's a really good dupe. And when you factor in the price, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. More wood than smoke in drydown. Of course it can't hold a candle to Aventus, but if you like CDNIM you'll get a suitable "body spray" with moderate durability and a good compliment factor. I like the bottle, it's made of glass and strangely enough very valuable!
