Cozy winter lemon
I ordered Nagaranga & Santal Citroné online from a perfumery out of interest and because it was on offer. Admittedly, it was a blind purchase. But the reviews and statements here about this fragrance gave me the certainty that this fragrance would be right up my alley. Citrusy, fresh, woody and even a little spicy.
That was still in summer.
When I tested it, I immediately noticed the lemon smell of homemade lemonade, which you can now get in many small restaurants. And it was strong! My first impression. It smells very, very organic. Can we make friends with it?
It took the fall and the colder days for this scent to develop in such a way that I really learned to love it. In summer, I had a linear scent of lemon and tangerine peel and then it disappeared again after three hours.
But now in the cold it lasts me 4-6 hours. The lemon is still the most prominent note here for me, but the cardamom, later the somewhat earthy patchouli and the woods in the base are now coming to the fore. A great refreshment in the cold season and a greeting from summer. Then there's the homely feel of winter with spices and sandalwood. Bah, it's good for me. Pure wellness!
Will be a permanent guest in my house:)

Mint, not just for the summer
From the name, I initially assumed it was a pure mint fragrance. After I was sent a sample of Menta y Menta by a dear perfumer, I quickly realized that there are other fragrance notes that support the mint in terms of longevity and make the perfume appear very natural. I have since become an enthusiastic fan of mint in fragrances. This fragrance is not entirely innocent of this.
When you spray it on, it starts off alcoholic and the mint is there very quickly. It smells very natural, like freshly brewed tea. But not from the bag, but fresh from the garden. I notice a little lemon throughout the whole process. After an hour, the jasmine joins in according to my perception, which significantly prolongs the shelf life of the actually volatile mint. Unfortunately, I don't get the coffee note. Would certainly have been interesting. As already mentioned here in the previous reviews, I also find Menta y Menta very invigorating and refreshing. It also lasts quite a while on me. Around 5-6 hours in fact. The mint stays for 3-4 hours and then the scent really changes. I think it's the jasmine that comes through here in a very beautiful and unobtrusive way. There is also a slight sweetness. The fragrance can be worn all year round. Whenever you want to be refreshed.
I use it particularly often in summer. When it's really hot, I like to layer the fragrance with Herba Fresca from Aqua Allegoria. Then the mint becomes even more intense and the effect of the rather short-lived but powerful AA is considerably stretched. This also goes down very well with people in the immediate vicinity.

Noble and well-groomed with that certain something
Chance Eau Fraîche is one of the fragrances that I always repurchase. I wear it mainly in the fall. Winter is the only season in which it does not come into its own so well. And whenever I put it on again, I am enchanted by the unique sillage that this fragrance exudes in a subtly classy way. I too believe that Chance Eau Fraîche is a masterpiece. Although it is a fresh scent, it has a decent sillage, at least on me, and it lasts its 6 hours well. It also smells a bit like fog and rain showers, but in a fresh way. The citrus in this scent lasts until the end without becoming dominant. The composition of the fragrance notes is round and really unique. I usually have problems with perfumes that smell like rain, mist or even pond. That is not the case here at all.
The fragrance just seems neat and classy with that certain something. I spray Chance Eau Fraîche always also on the shoulders. Then the wonderful fragrance clouds pass my nose every now and then. And that smells sooo good!

After a rain shower in the Mediterranean forest
Foreste Di Seta translates as silk forest. In the silk forest there are mainly mulberry trees, mostly white mulberry trees, as their leaves are the main food of the silkworm. These trees originate from Asia and were planted in Europe in the Middle Ages in order to establish their own European silk production. The silkworm developed best in the Mediterranean region. This is why there is also a great tradition of silk production in Italy.
But now to the perfume, which was released by a well-known Italian designer brand.
Foreste Di Seta contains the scent of silk in the heart note. Fortunately, this is the only connection the perfume has to the mulberry tree.
The bottle is beautifully printed, like the entire Salvatore Ferragamo silk range. I really like that.
When you spray it on, you briefly feel a fresh breeze from the forest and the sea. The clary sage often gives me sea vibes personally. After 5 minutes, the fragrance changes to the heart note. The spicy notes of sage remain and silk and walnut create a creamy veil that covers the clary sage. The fragrance remains slightly fresh on the test strip. But on the skin it becomes creamy and after half an hour it smells as if it had rained in the forest. Foggy steam rises, the air is clean and still very warm. To me, this designer fragrance smells slightly niche. I generally have to get used to fragrances that smell like rain or fog. The fragrance is well balanced and round. The creaminess makes me feel cared for. The longevity is good for me at 5-6 hours. The sillage is only noticeable close to the body. I will be testing the perfume for a while and will definitely give it a chance to stay in my collection.

Washing powder with floral fragrance
I have heard that Rouat Al Musk is a very beautiful fragrance. The patterned glass bottle is very pretty and valuable with the little chain on the neck of the bottle. The lid is heavy and makes quite an impression. The sprayer is also absolutely fine. The price/performance ratio is extremely good, if only because of the bottle. The fragrance pyramid promises a powdery scent, which should be rather sweet and powdery at the beginning, then becomes floral and either earthy, warm oriental or clean and creamy towards the end. Depending on which fragrance notes come to the fore.
I didn't expect what I smelled on my wrist when I sprayed it. A strong smell of washing powder. I didn't smell any saffron or ylang ylang. If there is anything to smell besides the strong smell of detergent (musk?), it is iris and violet. So very powdery and unsweet. Very peculiar at first! After 10 minutes, the fragrance begins to soften. Now it gradually becomes sweeter, but never too sweet. The flowers support the musk, which was there right from the start and never lets up. After an hour, the fragrance is still strong on the wrist, but the sillage is really pleasant and clean. The more time passes, the softer and rounder the fragrance becomes, with amber and patchouli supporting the base. Now I am enveloped in a very pleasant cloud of fabric softener and it smells like freshly washed laundry with jasmine and there are already autumnal scented candles nearby, which exude a light oriental fragrance.
Conclusion: A strong start with a strong detergent scent, then the transition to a floral, fluffy fabric softener fragrance with oriental hints. The perfume always remains special. It is better not to over-spray :) Definitely worth a test.
