Wanted to like it!
Oh my! All those lovely notes. So sorry, I can't get comfortable with this one. The top notes are like a harsh soapy green smell. Like green beans freshly snapped, or frozen green beans just thawed, not cooked. Or lettuce that got too old and started to wilt and has a sharp green mushy lettuce smell.
So, I waited for the top note to die down. There are some wonderful soft floral notes hiding just beneath this all. But the top notes just won't go away. Yes, they are lighter, and somewhat faded, but it's still there. I'll say this much for it. It's strong, and won't wash off very well. I washed with soap and I can still smell it. I mean it's not horrible or anything, it's just not the type of "green" smell I was hoping for. I was thinking perhaps something a little grassy? Not vegetal. Also, it's a little old fashioned. Not that that is necessarily bad, but I can't get used to it. I wanted to like it, I really did.

Cooling fragrance
Fantastic! This fragrance sends chills through my body, and it's so hot outside and cloudless today. It's like an icy blast of fresh citrus, greens and florals. What I like most about this being green is that it is not a harsh bitter green, but a soft, light, gentle scent. I am reminded of a grove of citrus trees being tossed about by a gentle summer breeze. Jasmine is growing on a fence nearby. Lovely, lovely scent. Soft, not loud or overly sweet like so many today. However, it does last and has great sillage.

Sweet floral
A very sweet exotic floral scent. I do smell the kiwi, along with strong scents of lily and jasmine pearl tea. I find this all the more intriguing with the added bamboo notes. You'll find yourself stepping into an exotic rain forest in Bali where there are cascading waterfalls surrounded by exotic flowers and bamboo. It's fresh, clean and tropical. I also find it exciting and foreign like a journey into another land.

Beachy
The lime and the peony together make this delectable. The amber adds a little depth to it. Wear this on a hot summer day and you will be transported to a tropical beach with a refreshing salty sea breeze blowing. While you gaze out upon the ocean, have a nice refreshing tropical mixed drink. Do you smell the flowers? The resort you are staying in has fantastic gardens full of exotic flowers. Time to pack my bags. The ocean awaits

Sweet jasmine
The jasmine is so strong in this, and it is very, very sweet! It a lot of ways it remind me of TM's Alien. In fact, at first I could not tell the difference between the two, until I sprayed one on one wrist and one on the other. Alien is much stronger and sweeter.

There is a spicy note in this one which at first I thought was clove or licorice but I believe what I am smelling is the ginger. I do get a little citrus in this but not much. Really Armani Code is all about the jasmine. The sillage is fantastic and so in the longivity.
