Befragrances

Music for a while is such a relaxing scent and so unique, I never smelled anything like it before. The whole Frederic Malle brand is unique let’s say and is the definition of niche in my opinion. A lot of people compare it to a luxurious essential oil and indeed you have a little essential oil vibe going on here but of course it’s much more than that. The two main notes in the fragrance are lavender and pineapple. Such a wonderful combination, lasts all day and projects really well. Underrated gem !

Pure Malt was created in 2009 and in honor of traditional Scottish whiskey. It is one of my favorite boozy scents. It is a mix between fruity, whiskey and sweet notes. The notes that stand out the most are obviously malt, Fruity notes and whiskey. Absolutely amazing designer scent and I’m proud to add this to my collection. Out of all the A*men line this is my favorite one. Pure Havane is not bad at all but I already own Naxos which is more or less the same fragrance. What is your favorite A*man Fragrance ?

What a great release from the house of Amouage ! This is a beautiful oriental woody fragrance for man. You have notes of orris, leather, olibanum and oud. You have a lot more notes in this fragrance but those are the notes that stand out the most. This scent profile is very unique and i can’t say i smelled anything like it. But Amouage is a brand that is not aiming for mainstream fragrances. Although there is Iris in here it has nothing to do with Dior homme or one if its flankers. Compared to the original this one is more polite and softer. Don’t get me wrong this still has a beast mode projection but let’s say in the winter you could wear this in the office as the original would maybe be a little harsher for that scenario . Overall great scent , put your nose on it asap !

Beautiful aquatic fruity pineapple. I now what you are thinking . This is just an other Aventus clone as Pineapple is one of the notes listed. But this has its own personality and more so in the dry down. You have sea notes , leather and musk. Those are the notes that stand out the most. And the performance is just out of this world. The quality of this fragrance is amongst the best out there. If you don’t know the brand Unique Luxury keep your eyes open as this will most definitely get talked about a lot in the future.

Akro is the brand of parfumeur Olivier Cresp and his daughter Anais. For the people that are not familiar with Olvier Cresp he is the nose behind Dolce Gabanna light blue,Versace man eau fraiche, etc… He desided to launch his own niche brand “Akro” based of things people are addicted to, Smoke (cigarettes), Malt (alhcohol), Awake (coffee), etc… In my case I choose to go with Malt. A boosy fragrance mixed with leather, patchouli and seaweed. A beautiful blend that perfectly represents the addiction of alcholcol in the most beautiful way.
