(For all daydreamers and fantasy creatures this fragrance is exactly the right thing. It seduces people to think in other times, slows down everyday life and reminds them that there used to be a time without mobile phones and smartphones, and that there was a lot of accessibility. If I smell him, I feel like I'm slowmotion. Soothed by the floral notes. He's too slow for our fast-paced time. A dreamer and that's exactly what I love about him! Good night)

The name says it all: Water. I can't say what it is, but the scent, underlined by the title, simply smells of water. In any case, he triggers such associations in me, although he refers the pyramid to the fact that an enormous lemon basket must have fallen into the river here. However, musk, sandalwood and iris manage - in my opinion - to almost completely suppress the lemon and transform it into a soft, harmoniously creamy flow. The creaminess is not to be denied, it looks as if one would have been creamed with the Durft and not sprinkled with scent. It does not, however, remain on the skin as cream usually does, but gradually unfolds a considerable depth. Similar to that of a lake or the sea. It would be exciting to know whether one would - without knowing the title - also come across the connection to the water. If you know him, you realize it right away. Despite my good rating, I can't always smell the fragrance, but that's how I feel about many of Tauer's masterpieces - and I want to emphasize this. They are simply very special and this one needs the right day, the right season and the right setting. I would recommend the fading spring that passes into summer as well as not too warm summer days. In the heat he really annoyed me and almost caused a headache because of his creaminess. Also one does not get rid of it so fast again, it holds nevertheless approximately 7-8 hours and shows also in the first two hours an acceptable Sillage. I am therefore still strongly considering whether he will wander into my collection. On the one hand I am fascinated by him on the other hand something repels me from him. For all others who are thinking about a purchase, I can say: it is definitely unisex and of very high quality. We don't have to talk about the great bottle, they've always been spaced :)

To summarize: If you don't just want to drink water, but also want to smell it and in addition a very special, creamy, as if you had dropped bebe-cream into the water, you hit it!

Well, no question Ombre Leather describes - at least as far as his performance is concerned - as well as the question of one of my students. Just today it happened to me that I thought, oh come, the sun doesn't shine so hard, it's 16-18 degrees and a light leather jacket paired with Ombre Leather would be just right. Because one thing he doesn't like so much: heat! It's a great autumn/winter fragrance that's wearable up to 18/20 degrees. But I think he has even more power than the above, at least for me. He stays with me about 12 hours and has about 6 hours a good Sillage. He's very space occupying. But that doesn't bother me at all with this masterpiece, which is due to its great and balanced smell. It starts with cardamom, saffron and jasmine, which appear extremely round and flatter the nose. But they quickly warp and what remains is the unbelievably great base leather, patchouli and vetiver create a real leather jacket smell, which doesn't look too heavy, but is perceived as extremely soft. It is suitable for almost all age groups and is the ideal complement to the leather jacket! Or to the leather bag, simply spray! I find him more balanced than Tuscan Leather, by the way. Finally, moss and amber ensure that the fragrance is soft and smooth.

Well, and to answer the student's question: I had 4 sprays on it and when she asked me about it, it's been four hours since I applied it.

I would be happy if you could find more perfumes that like the fragrance as much as I do :)

Let us come to one of my favourite fragrances, but in a detour, so that the dear reader knows why this fragrance means so much to me.

In my youth - I'm already 30 and so I'm allowed to talk like that - we spent most of our family holidays in motorhomes. Most of the time I went in the direction of Scandinavia, pure adventure for growing up kids like me. One of our favourite destinations was the small Danish island Bornholm, also called Sun Island (maybe someone knows it?). There we went swimming a lot, rode our bikes or went for long walks along the beach. I see these pictures of my youth alive in front of me. See the gray hair of my father, his dense Baart. See my mother walking along the beach with my sister by the hand. See me, young, silly, waking up in the RV and looking out the window.

But what the hell has this smell got to do with it???

Well, as it is the case, after a long day on holiday you have to wash yourself or run under the campsite shower. Since these were mostly completely overcrowded, we all went together and always handed over the shower cubicle to the next family member. The special thing about it was that my parents - driven by a strict ECO ideology - always had only neutral soap with them, namely that of Seba-Med. Never anything else. Well, I don't know what to say, the smell of this very soap has done it to me. So pure, so extremely clean. Whenever I visit my parents and take a shower there, I feel transported back to the wide beaches of Denmark. To the wild lakes of Sweden. For someone who loves perfume, there is only one question when taking a shower: Where do I get a fragrance that smells the same as Seba-Med soap?
Well, the result was: research, search, try. After quite a few attempts, I came across the above fragrance "Prada - Infusion de Iris Cedre". It was love at first sight. I could hardly believe my luck, as I had actually found a scent that is almost completely identical to the family holiday soap! Awesome! The scent is, by the sword lily and supported by cedar and neroli simply the soap scent par excellence (I do not notice the incense particularly, her?). He's so incredibly pure and clean, it almost hurts. In addition, it fits exactly in the direction of "fresh laundry fragrances". You just feel clean and fresh. In addition, it has a super durability and a solid Sillage. It lasts about 8 hours with me and after four hours is slowly only perceptible very closely. For me a clear spring fragrance, or a fragrance that can be worn on warm summer evenings. I would rather avoid heat or extreme cold, I don't think it fits so well. It is also completely unisex wearable. And I don't think it brings with it any age restrictions, no matter if young or old, he always goes. I would agree with the previous speaker, he also fits perfectly into the office, he does not hurt anyone. A funny fun fact about the "Prada - Infusion de Iris": I must be fragrance-blind with it, I tested both in parallel and can't smell it, it's like air.

So my dear ones, thank you for travelling with me back to the holidays of my childhood! I can only recommend that anyone who would like to wear Seba-Med soap (the green one) as a fragrance try it out. For me the clear No. 1 in the powder segment. Thank you Daniela Andrier for creating this great fragrance and allowing me to travel to the past!

A sultry summer in the 80s. The heat rises from the streets, the trees are already drawn because of this and sadly leave their dried leaves hanging. In front of the houses, the lawn sprinklers irrigate the lawn areas full of fervour, which are still shining green. People sit in the shade of the house facades, bob in the rocking chair, sip ice cubes of lemonade and watch the children romp in the pool under the tree. In the middle of this scenery - or a similar one - series like the well-known and currently popular series called "Stranger Things" play. One of her main characters "Jim Hopper", a coarse and yet loveable mid-forties man, who is employed by the city police department, captivates with his distinctive moustache and his dazzling Hawaiian shirts paired with - for a beerbelly wearer - much too tight Wrangler jeans.

(And now to the transition...)

If I had to embed Cool Water Intense into a setting, then into the one described above. If I had to describe the potential carrier of such a fragrance, then this Jim Hopper from Stranger Things would resemble - or any other stereotype of the 80's (maybe even a bit of the 70's). It (the fragrance) radiates a serenity and relaxation that is second to none. In the beginning the slightly flattering mandarin, which I later unfortunately no longer notice supported by plenty of coconut water and amber. Especially the "smooth ironed" cocossus manages to replace the smeller a few decades back in time. In front of your mind's eye you can see men in convertibles with wide open Hawaiian shirts and proper chest hair closely followed by the wonderful Sillage of Davidoff Cool Water Intense blowing behind the car. This (Sillage) is - at least in my case - considerable for a desinger-mist of the lower price segment! Embenso the shelf life. The fragrance lasts a good 8-10 hours and the Sillage enchants - especially at the temperatures - the bystanders for a good 4-6 hours with this fine fragrance. He is also not too sweet to me, as often mentioned, I find the sweetness almost turned into powdery. He seems somehow pure, innocent and not appropriate for this time. All in all it is very straight-lined and changes little, which I find very good, however, since it conveys Ruge and stability.

I never thought the successor to Cool Water would smell like this. It almost hurts that this elixir is pressed into such a bottle. I don't think he does him justice at all. I would have expected something crazier, more colourful here (maybe like with the Wave only more blatant). In any case, this fragrance does not allow moments of comparison with its predecessor. Was this a - sorry for all fans - pure crowdpleaser, so the Intense is something for lovers and time travelers.

(And now to sum up...)

In summary, it can be said that this fragrance is suitable for those who would like to know how the 80s might have smelled. For all those who are looking for a fragrance that fits in both summer and early autumn. For those who - no matter what age - get along with fruity-sweet (powdery)/ playful scents. Also for those who are looking for a straight-lined fragrance with good durability and sillage. If, on the other hand, you don't like coke kisses, you should keep your distance. Whoever hopes for similarities to the predecessor, ebendalls.

(And now back to the beginning...)
All those who have taken Stranger Things and the brawny Jim Hopper to their hearts will also take this fragrance to their hearts and with that I close. So Hawaiian shirt on, scent up, party on.
