The tilted pear pond...
We own a huge property with some fruit trees. These very old varieties, which you can't get anymore

Apples, plums, cherries, peaches and: Pears.

We also have a pond. With all kinds of undergrowth, water lilies, iris, water lilies...

This said pond tips over every year in late summer. Because: The pear tree dumps all its ripe pears into it. If we don't scoop them out in time, it smells just like this Amouage: like watery-green, slightly musty pear water lily pond.

Wicked! I laughed so hard when I first tasted Reflection. Directly I saw myself fishing with the landing net through the algae water. After the overripe, rotten pears.

Well, I'm glad I only have the 7.5ml miniature. Not for me a post-purchasing candidate. He also smells a bit of the old-fashioned scent. Sorry, Amouage, no "aaahhhhh" and "ooooh" today...

Fresh, freshest, most flowery!
"Ciel" is also such a typical "clean scent", a bit similar to "Dia" - at least for my nose.

Except they put a whole spring load in here at Ciel's. So spring morning, with dewy glasses, white flowers, powder, something pleasant, like freshly washed, sun-dried terry towels...

I find the fragrance really very beautiful, suitable for everyday use, not too intrusive. Rather day than evening perfume. It just smells the way you want to smell when you want to appear "well-groomed". A feel-good water, also wearable during sports or yoga etc.

Later it even becomes a bit incensey on me, even though I didn't even notice it at first.

Unfortunately - despite the Oman version, which I rate, not the most durable fragrance and not the best Sillage. While other Amouage blow me half over, here rather a soft, fresh and fine breeze blows

Well done!

Another victim of reformulation...
I know "Pansy" from very early on, when Lush was not yet Lush and from a forum special a few years later.

The fragrance is really super close to "The Olive Branch" shower gel, which I really love. Lemon, orange, olive-oily, powdery, floral and fresh. Mmm. Perfect against winter blues!

Yes, I still love perfume, the fragrance itself. But:

The version that is currently available for purchase lacks the boom, the sillage and the durability.

Too bad. I would give a lot to be able to buy the fragrance fresh in the old quality.

The vintage version...
... Thank God I still have stashed away in the dry cellar and she is: Wonderful!

Such a beautiful, warm, cuddly spicy, velvety scent. Totally inviting and also sensual, quite positively commented on me by some men.

A bit of incense and hippie, then again noble lady in silk robe, a few flowers and something minimal fresh. Oh, so beautiful!

Always reminds me of my Gothic/Metal - youth, because the good old Maroussia was my first "signature scent".

I don't like today's version by far, it lacks depth and facet, it also starts much too alcoholic - pungent, sillage is also much worse, also worse durability.

Well, there's a real sweetheart of the "ver-improved" - sad...

Love it!
Hach...

Such a cute, sweet, pleasing flower-sugar elixir.

Yes, woman must like kitschy, flowery and sweet, otherwise she can't do anything with it.

I really like this - for kitschy and sweet - but quite multi-layered scent.

It reminds me of spring with the first hints of summer. Juicy, green and tasty!

For some noses might smell cheap or meaningless, but for me, it is very often my favorite dessert in the morning - right after the shower
