i like anise, I like pastis too. And I was very much looking forward to the bottling of Sunnyland, because I have read the fragrance pyramid and fragrance description or comments and statements about it and was enthusiastic. Thought that was exactly my scent. Heavy, spicy and incense. But unfortunately the scent on my skin only develops anise from beginning to end; no liqueur note, no ZImt, no incense, nothing fruity. It is a beautiful, wamer fragrance without question and fits perfectly into the cool season, but not to me, because unfortunately it develops too one-sided and then has more of essential oil for the fragrance lamp than exclusive niche fragrance. But what is remarkable is the durability...even after 7 hours it still smells like shortly after spraying on. I'll test him again to see if it changes on the third try. Otherwise the filling process may continue.

This week I was professionally in Munich. Of course a short stopover at Ludwig Beck's perfumery and beauty department was planned. While browsing my eyes fell on the presentation of the Jusbox fragrances. I think it's very harmonious. The LPs in the background in front then the scents in the colorful flacons built. The design of the bottles is super. I like the look and I was really happy because my partner is a musician and I always look for scents where this passion can be found. Beat Café would have fitted perfectly as a birthday present, because he was born in the 60's. Light citric fragrances do nothing for him either, he already needs strong fragrances with good durability and Sillage. The fragrance pyramid also directly appealed to me, as I also like fragrances with leather chords for myself. I'm not yet sure whether the beat Café will be able to create fragrances that directly awaken images in my head. A beautiful fragrance, that's out of the question, but when I smelled it I was missing a bit of something special, something distinctive/game, so that I would really buy it directly. Benzoin and cedar wood make it soft and velvety. But I missed the spice at the first smell. The pepper came to me on the skin hardly you. For a fragrance that stands for the 60s, I need a little more.

Tested last night...
Not this flowery floral femininity...but a fragrance that can be worn with an elegant business costume as well as with rough boots, check shirts, used jeans and leather jackets. For me the many different facets of femininity are underlined and a contrast is created. That's exactly what I like about a scent...sandalwood, almond and vanilla give the scent a sensual, enveloping, even soothing note...yes you stand with both feet firmly on the ground and the pepper and cinnamon contrast with it. This also gives the 34 something challenging: look here. Here I am. Something kessy, enjoying life. Running through a heap of leaves, a cappuccino on a shopping spree, a business appointment, a romantic meal etc... it always fits without being "ordinary". This is also due to the balanced sillage for me.
It was the right decision to choose him for blind sharing. I'll report back then

This week I tested Kilian Princess again in the perfumery...and had to spray on the Cristallo di Rocca for comparison at home. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Perfect weather for this beautiful, special and enveloping fragrance. At the same time spicy, sweet, elegant...like a warming scarf at Cashmere scarf...I imagine a thick carachal when writing...at first glance only a scarf...but it is the favourite scarf because it "upgrades" every outfit and warms you especially well. Involuntarily I have a picture of the rough Irish/Scottish sea in front of me. A long walk on the beach, wind, rough boats, crackling fire in a cottage and to warm up a strong tea with milk, maybe something sweet. Cristallo isn't just sweet, it's like an Apple Crumble that you should enjoy lukewarm with a ball of ice cream, where you'll notice the different flavours like cinnamon, vanilla and the different textures like the crunchy crumbles, the creamy melting ice cream. And the Cristallo has certainly still by the smoky One special depth and for me always something delicious by the smell of whiskey / rum

this was my first blind purchase at the souk some time ago. I found the components exciting. And I can remember very well that I found the leather still very strong with the first spraying. But then after some time on the skin, it develops strikingly and yet also softly through the fruit. repeatedly tested as always and finally judged it to be suitable. Because I like each of the individual components. At the moment I'm also totally into fragrances with incense.
As a picture I can think of an inner courtyard in the south...the inner courtyard that gives shade and coolness. The leather portion does not take my breath away, but invites me to make myself comfortable in the leather armchair for a moment. When you then close your eyes, you perceive the other components. The wind blows the smell of the delicious ripe raspberry fruits into your nose, like a piece of raspberry cake standing on the small table next to the leather armchair. The green herbaceous component of thyme; for my nose it could also be rosemary. Not the impetuous, wild thyme or rosemary that grows in the macchia, but the one that is deliberately planted near the kitchen so that it can be quickly prepared
The vanilla makes the fragrance soft and round, and in my opinion provides the intimacy/secureness. We all know the scents of our childhood. The incense gives depth to the fragrance without reminding of dark churches.
For not a great UNisex scent, which for me has the POtential for the summer scent, because it does not have the often citrus-laden other scents. Not a simple fragrance, yet elegant and fine
