No, you don't. Not refreshing
In view of the summer of 2019 and my passion for fresh, cool and lemony fragrances I surfed around a bit and got some nice hints in the forum - thank you.

Since I like the No. 1 from M. Asam, I bought the Body Splash Lemongrass. I'm not familiar with BodySplashes yet. I only know Eau Svelte, which is very citric and beautiful.

Expecting lemony freshness, I sprayed it on myself too. Roch and thought: hm, that smells like cabbage - Brussels sprouts or something similar. Not really fresh, lemony also not directly. Grassy, a little harsh. Well. After a short time it became a bit grassy and woody, you have to sink your nose deep into it to smell it.

After about 2 hours it is almost gone, but this is probably always the case with a BodySplash. We don't even talk about Sillage, unless someone sticks his nose to you and loves the penetrating smell of Brussels sprouts ;).

So no recommendation from me. I'll put it in the fridge in summer and take a heavier load of it. I can also well imagine layering it with other lemony scents. But the smell doesn't attract me very much, because it hardly has a ZItrus note

A powerful perfume
I have tested Gaultier's EDP Classique several times. I always wondered, do you like it? I'm still undecided. The prelude is violent, heavy, lush. It's like being tied up and thrown into a flower bed and then lying unconsciously fogged under flowers whose heavy sweet scents take your breath away. After some time of the half-powerful twilight sleep in the flower fog - so after approx. 5-6 hours, the evening slowly approaches. I wake up, it has become cooler and I am wrapped in a comforting, warm and soft blanket, a smell that strokes you like a loving touch and flows to you: I am there, I protect you, let you fall. Creamy, gentle and soft. A touch of sweetness can still be felt, but it doesn't kill you like that anymore, but is more sensual and feminine.

If I ever get it, I would put it on before bedtime in the evening to make it bearable and comfortable the next morning. For me it's a winter scent, in summer it's too heavy and heavy

Yuck - Never again
Hello, after reading the mostly positive comments, I was quite curious about the fragrance, especially since the lemony ingredients are very much in my direction - I thought.

In the beginning a slightly fresh note was noticeable, very short, very light. Then came an artificial, quite pungent smell that was difficult to put into words and that settled down. After some time I had the feeling to be squeezed into a coconut, while a cheerful monkey enthusiastically drums around on it and swathes of coconut smell pushed themselves into my nostrils. A pungent, unpleasant coconut-like smell, which had nothing fresh, nothing green and nothing pleasing at all, but was only boring and penetrating. I don't know whether fig or galbanum smells like that, for me it stank and I had trouble washing it off, because it is already durable.

Never again. I really think that's where the divorce comes in. I love Annick Goutal's "Eau d'Hadrien", the "Eau du Sud" is not bad, a bit too bitter. But this was for me a smell, with which one is annoyed certainly by nobody ;-) - at least the way he smelled at me
