Has a kind of dense leafiness rather than the clarity of most green scents, but still a light fragrance on the whole.

Sophisticated, sweet, unisex lavender. Abstract. Lots of clove, but submerged & blended so smoothly that I, a clove-disliker, love it.

Maybe a little too much anise up top, but has a comfortably grumpy grey acridity afterwards that’s like nothing else. It’s for those of us.

Bitter grapefruit and a faceful of brisk sea air (from the juniper). Not too strong, but a pleasure to smell in the breeze.

I have the woodier reformulation, and really enjoy it. Shows off both sides of the oud, still a little dirty, firewood- & incense-adjacent.
