My adult congress scent
Bus trip to congress quick comment

I've been wearing my vintage Rochas for a few days now. The first time I found him too powdery, almost repulsive, but already the second time he fascinated me.
The fragrance is complex and not easy to describe.
The overall impression is spicy-powdery-dry and not green at all. Here he shows resemblance to my homemade orris butter.
I also take a continuous animal note in the background, but it doesn't impose itself and puts everything else in the shade. Flower notes seem to be present, but they look like dried summer flowers to me, which underlines the powdery dryness of the fragrance.
Overall very mature, elegant, intense, long lasting and special, but not intrusive. Like a tailor-made suit that stands out due to the fine fabric and the perfect cut, without pushing itself into the field of vision.
Too bad my bottle's almost empty.
A special scent, because I don't know a similar one.
I've arrived.

Dark green unit
- A short commentary -

My Ecarté flacon is dark green with a gold-coloured ball as a screw cap.

The fragrance starts oakmossy-fresh and I think there are some spicy flowers (cloves? lavender?) in the background.
The colour of the bottle perfectly matches the fragrance, as it is oakmossy green, but more on the fresh side.
Maybe it is a chypre, but the bergamot is hardly noticeable anymore (age?), and in the back there could be labdanum in it, but the drydown smells more like a soft musk on me, which I find - very unusual - sometimes really pleasant,
and above all the fragrance remains soft and mossy until the end.
The flowers depicted on the bottle above barely make it through and lag behind the other notes.
All in all, the fragrance develops more of a dark green skin-scent, which is clearly but not excessively noticeable. But I also only spotted a little - if you spray generously, it might behave differently.

Conclusion: The fragrance is as green as the bottle!
Unisex, summery, pleasant

Changeable scent
Coconut oil on my skin and Nikita on my clothes, plus the muggy-warm weather at the moment - I immediately feel transported to a terrace in Thailand, similar to Chrisantiss.
The fragrance reminds, especially with a stronger coconut component, of a sweet-spicy Thai curry with coconut milk, ginger and galangal;
of sun oil, sea view, hot air, a touch of flowers in the background. The scent now seems tropical, the smell of food seems to be in the air, but it is not too gourmand, thanks to the floral and woody component.

At the same time I understand Verbena, which the scent makes you think of a horse-drawn sleigh ride in freezing cold air. Snow lies in the surroundings; the fragrance now seems heavier - an evening perfume - and the coconut-prickle-pimento combination radiates a dry warmth, which one can only use too well in such cold weather. The fragrance has an amber note in the background, which makes you think of benzoin, and which is much more noticeable to me in cold weather than in summer.

So both is possible with Nikita - a fragrance that adapts to both hot and cold temperatures.
It's changeable and in my opinion one of the better cheap conventional perfumes, which you can't smell on every corner - if you like the slightly musty coconut note.
Personally, I couldn't wear it every day
Since it is quite strong, two splashes are enough - one left, one right, anything else would be too much of a good thing. It lasts a good 6-8 hours.

Yeah, it smells like animal, but...
How I've waited so long for this fragrance!

For years I have been looking for a good horse scent that captures the warm sweetness of the horse's scent and allows me to mentally transfer my whereabouts to the stable.

And that's exactly what this fragrance does,
BUT
he's not taking me to the stable.

I would like to briefly discuss this and the structure of the fragrance:

The first whiff of the fragrance is initially noticeable because it is very sweet and "boozy".
Spontaneous associations in the first seconds are whiskey or scents like Speakeasy by Frapin.
Already after a few seconds a clear and very realistic animal scent is added (I don't know if PG cruelty free and does without scents of animal origin; please add it in the comments if anyone knows about it).

I can definitely identify this smell:
Goats.

It's no joke. I'm standing here on the side of Angua, smelling sheep

Until my mother-in-law died unexpectedly 2 years ago, she was a passionate hobby goat owner, so I had contact with these lovely, very cheeky and sometimes combative animals for years.
Goats, and especially billy goats, have a very typical dry, "tart" smell (whereas horses have a rather soft, sweetish Indian smell).

The strength of the animal decreases over time, but the slightly spicy and not very woody amber (or whiskey) component remains and both run side by side until after about 45min they start to form a unit.

The scent is quite successful, so he transports me with a glass of whiskey to the goat house and has immediately lifted my spirits by beautiful memories.
Most of the scents of my Eaux des Chevaux tested so far have never even brought me near a stable!
But there's no smell of horses in my eyes.

*I have used two sprayers of the fragrance and find it relatively close to the skin. I wear it for about 1 hour and can't say much about its durability and drydown - will be added in the evening*
Edit: After 5-6 hours he is very close, the animal has left the field. A pleasant, slightly leathery ambry tone remains, which I find quite good, but nothing special.
Edit II: I sprayed the scent on my husband earlier and asked him - without giving any further information about the scent ;like the name etc. - what his association was. He looked slightly confused and said "goat". So it seems that our goats had the scent of Arabian Horse on them pretty much exactly.

I would be very happy about a comment from someone who also has goats and ponies(te)!

Many thanks to FRAgrANTIC for the test possibility!

Puschel blossom dream
A short commentary on a current event:
The fragrance was probably taken out of the assortment, at least it is no longer in the current catalogue.

To the background:
During the winter months I used up my mimosa absolute (Acacia dealbata).
The scent of these pale yellow flowers is now not exactly known for its healing properties, but it is considered to be mood-lifting and balancing, and its delicacy is a real lullaby on a warm bath on a winter evening. And since I was constantly on the verge of catching a cold, I bathed a lot.
With mimosa absolute.
So the smell is stored quite fresh in my memory.

Today I took out mimosa from Le Chatelard 1802 again, smelled it and was immediately sure that there is real mimosa absolute in it; in a quantity that can be seen quite clearly.
*Edit: I have revised my opinion in the meantime, because I have Mimosa-Absolue here again*
Therefore a real tip for mimosa fans.
*Edit: The overall impression still fits the name Mimosa*
At the moment you can still get the fragrance for about 15 euros at various places.

By the way, Acacia dealbata is not a real mimosa, but the name has probably become so common because of the similar shape of the leaves.
I only planted one in the garden at Easter and I hope for flowers soon!
