Two basic ideas for Geza Schöns new commissioned work for the Cologne-based company, one hesitant, one euphoric.

First the hesitation:
If, then only nuances disturb the fragrance, one is the memory of the original 4711 (too traditional, too unisex, fortunately only minimal), the other the proximity to relevant bath additives. The 4711 would be a hindrance to buying for me if it got through more... Fortunately, it is a clearly independent fragrance.
For my bath additive association, the fragrance really can't do anything, because with this topic, something like this cannot be avoided at all.
The same goes for every citrus scent that always has to balance on a narrow ridge past WC cleaners. That doesn't mean that every citrus scent smells like Master Propper, but there is a thematic proximity. And there are hundreds of bathroom products on the subject of coniferous forests, for whose bad representatives one cannot blame this scent just because it takes up the subject. So much for my concerns, which, as you can see, are limited.

The reason for my euphoria can be traced back to the summer of 2018.
For the first time in Sweden, when I left the plane in Stockholm, I had an overwhelming scent of spicy, green, woody, resinous, woody needle smell in my nose, which accompanied me everywhere until my departure. This country smells like this. Therefore compliment to the thematic implementation. Absolutely hit. I tested before he got out of here. Away with the ridiculous "wood wood" of Miyake, for whom even once "wood" is one too many.
Off to downtown Cologne, spray memory on for little money and every season.

For the protocol:
Flacon nix Dolles, very close to the original, boring sticker, this fragrance would have deserved the bottle of He wood cologne... Unfortunately you can't have everything.
Sillage quiet, durability remarkable.

Conclusion:
Natural, needle-like, cozy, unobtrusive but persistent, directly bought. Light, not unpleasant proximity to pine needle bath additive. Deep nose Scandinavia

Happy, green, discreet
The city dweller is looking for his connection to nature (like https://youtu.be/WP7Oh8sSH6c ) : From the advertising to the bottle to the name I liked this release from the beginning. The only question was, would the fragrance itself be able to meet my expectations? The statements made me fear the worst, but I am more than satisfied with my secret favourite brand: in my opinion, the fragrance has hit the green theme very well, working its way from a citrus fruit to green foliage to essence, resinous wood. Only after seven hours can I perceive something slightly sweet, woody-resinous-powdery, but still a fruity freshness is at least next to it. As you would expect from Bulgari, all this is done without much fuss, discreet, spicy, reserved, but clear and always pleasant. That's why I like a lot of Bulgari (especially pour homme and the soir) : It sails a peaceful, clear, bright breeze into your nose, and it doesn't bother you at all. It doesn't happen that often. The green-yellow freshness makes me search my wrist again and again, after 8 hours it is also over, afterwards only very close wood.
Conclusion: Absolutely suitable for everyday use, makes me in a good mood, feels clean and delicious.
Critics may accuse him of cultivated boredom, too quiet, too one-sided, too little innovative or exciting.
I like it very much!

"The weighty is the root of the light, the silence is the restlessness Lord." (Laotse)

Unequal test comparison looking for my summer scent this year: one arm very cool sauvage, the other bphs.
Sure, somehow it's fascinating how the Dior is getting its power out while the Bulgari seems to weaken
But nevertheless bphs wins with me clearly, because he leaves a place to breathe, seems natural, is somewhat mysterious, airy and yet clearly male, smoky, spicy, woody...
In the end, the scent is the better one, which you want to smell longer and more often, while the other one starts to get on your nerves at some point.
I've stopped wanting more power for these quiet scents. Then they wouldn't be what I like about them anymore.
Smelling is a sensory perception that is difficult to explain, but it can be compared to another for illustration: Anyone who thinks that he appears noble and wealthy when he has a lot of brand labels hanging around in his pockets will achieve the opposite. Anyone who thinks that extra loud music is the guarantee for a lot of feeling is obviously mistaken. Less is more, secrets arouse curiosity, still waters are deep, the strength lies in peace.
Ohmmmmm..
