Good For The Price
This to me smells like you took PDM Layton and mixed it with sprinkling of Mancera Red Tobacco. It apparently has a lot of similarities to MFK Grand Soir, which i can see. The presentation is great but the plastic dome it comes in tends to break in shipment. Pressurized atomizer. The bottle is very heavy and the cap is metal and fits very snug.

The projection and sillage are not loud on my skin but definitely noticeable. Longevity is extremely good but i don't get the beast mode performance that others have stated they get. Plum, Vanilla, Amber, Tonka Bean, Benzoin (Ashy & Smoky With Spice) & Heliotrope (Nutty, Vanillic & Slightly Floral). The Oud is not skanky at all. I don't get much citrus here. I'd say this is worth $40-$55, and i wouldn't pay much more than that.

Smells Awesome, but........
This is my favorite BDC fragrance by far. Has much more depth and richness than the others. However, on my skin the performance is TERRIBLE and barely projects after the first 45 minutes and longevity is about 2 hours. Fresh, Clean Shower Gel type scent with Amber added for depth. Overpriced for the performance unfortunately for me. I'm sure its been through a couple of reformulations since its come out but then drop the price some if you're going to do that or include it with discounts (Chanel is alway excluded from all discounts).

Its going the route of Disney as of late, take services and amenities away and at the same time raise the prices. Won't be buying this again which is a shame cause I really love the scent but i can not in good conscience pay the "no discount ever" prices for this while they continue to weaken it.

Expensive But Smells Nice
i haven't had the chance to smell Tygar yet. But this scent just smells as the simple notes imply. Grapefruit, Ginger, Woods and Ambroxan. Pretty straightforward. It smells very nice and versatile. Performance seems pretty good for a freshie fragrance but not beast mode, sillage and projection is moderate. Price is kinda high $60 for 30ml and i used a 30% off coupon bringing it down to $42 which is pretty expensive for dupe. The real deal is $300ish for 100ml so its still half the price of the original.

I really like the smell but not sure i'll buy again after i run out. Smells very fresh and clean but this is still definitely overpriced for a clone.

Not Good
I'm tired of these Youtube fragrance reviewers getting paid with affiliate links to say that is fragrance is good and a spot on clone of BDC Parfum. IT IS NOT. The opening smells NOTHING like BDC Parfum and is kind of off putting, cause there's something that smells chemically (to me it smells like hair perm solution)......i was like wait "what?!" I tried to be patient and as it dries down, it gets closer. The depth & richness isn't quite present as compared to BDC Parfum. In the MID it gets maybe about 60% close, the opening? about 25%, cause of a few similar notes. Its just not the same fragrance plain and simple. i have both and this is a synthetic mess of chemicals that smell kinda strange. It's not terrible, it's just not the same fragrance.

Longevity seems better so far than the original which has terrible longevity, but not by a significant amount & sillage and projection is just ok. I will say, the original smells SIGNIFICANTLY better but cause of performance i've never bought it. On the far dry down it starts to stray away from the Parum a little bit.....it loses the depth and starts moving closer to the EDP and EDT with a strange chemical scent.

This seems a little overpriced for me. 30ml for $55 and i used a 30% off coupon taking it to $38.50 and there was no tax and free shipping. i figure the real deal cost $160 for 100ml.....so prices are not that far off from the original. As i said though, the original has HORRIBLE performance.....last maybe 2 hours on my skin.

Going to let this macerate a little while and see if it gets better (many have said it improves after maceration). i'll leave an update if things change.

UPDATE : My opinion has not changed. It just SO/SO. Don't buy this and spring for the original.
5/10 on scent. 7/10 for performance. 6/10 for presentation.

I JUST CAN'T GET OVER THAT WEIRD HAIR SALON CHEMICAL BACK SCENT. I just can't un-smell it now. This is not a clone, its like a bad tracing of the original where the artist forgot to put on his glasses.

It's ok
This has a nice freshness up top with the combination of citruses and light florals up top. The florals are not prominent. On the dry down, i get patchouli and musk. I smelled the patchouli more from the atomizer than on skin but its definitely there. Its not a dirty patchouli though. I got a gift set on daily deal from Macy's for VERY cheap. At that price it's worth it. I would not pay retail for this one. I"m sure, just like all other English Laundry fragrances, the performance and sillage will be dismal but it smells nice in the meantime. If you're a hardcore collector like me, you probably won't find this very interesting, so its just an alright release.
