Two Steps in front of and one back
The dear Guusje has sent me the test and I was curious. The pyramid doesn't correspond to my favorites (in germany we call it 'Beuteschema'; i couldn't translate it) but I so often have already been mistaken.

I describe the head note freshly and green, the lime is the leader.

Many flowers are in foreground. No-one too lavish. I am surprised pleasantly since some 'heavier' candidates are under this of course. Lilies of the valley and jasmine smell all too obvious, but restrained and much balanced.

Unfortunately, it gets really sweet now. Is it the balmily sweet ambergris which lets me shake the head?
It is simply too much and I wait for a moment.

I am calmed down. I call it the 2nd phase of the base note which I like again.
The sweet has moved to the distance - it gets easy and warm.
Slight wood smell and a musk flag glimmer.

trimmed ivy
The head note seems well known to me.
Every lot of ivy climbs at our house upward and must be fairly often trimmed.
The back cut of the ivy tendrils smells like Eau de Lierre.
So I feel almost like at home.

The smell gets still green by Galbanum and the geraniums in my window boxes match the smell picture perfectly.

Unfortunately, my comment here finds a sudden end. A couple of peppercorns 'lie' in the air.
The complete base note has hidden behind the ivy apparently.
And ivy is also the only component which is quite weakly left.

What a pity. The beginning was so interesting.

mistaken wonderfully
When choosing the smells I was warned since I don't like sweet smells.
As a challenge for me he was sent along.

Yes, he is sweetly BUT at the same time fruity, creamy so that no unpleasant feeling arises.

The fruit little basket swings over into the spice chest.
Osmanthus smells, I am not aware of the cinnamon. The sweet smell has no more chance at all now.
How does it go on?

I don't smell the caramel - I am not angry therefore. I like to eat him. But I wouldn't like to nibble at my skin.

And they are again. My heart companions.

Head, heart and base note is coordinated excellently.
Beginning and middle join together with the warm, soften, easily dark end of this wonderful scent.

Who would have thought that I would like Badgley Mischka?
Not I.
He enriches my list of the wishes.
Thank Guusje!

Reminder
Warning, my first comment in english ;-)

It is an experience.
This smell is so unusual that there is a great gap between liking and rejection. In german forum there are most enthusiasts.

The first impression was more dominantly curry, followed by creamy tender spices immediately.
So many vacation memories get awake. It already begins at the name. Oriental Lumpur could be the name of a hotel in Indonesia just the same well.
It smells like Sandalwood. I am in the entrance area of the hotel after great heat and even bigger atmospheric humidity in Sri Lanka or also directly at the hotel bar in a late afternoon. The smells are similar there.
Patchouli and the vanilla creep in; am I strolling just with my husband through little lanes in Singapore? Could be good. My husband has just sniffed at me. The smell is too 'strong', too tasty for him. He was immediately reminded of temple visits with joss sticks.

I get wanderlust again.
But already alone the memories are comforting and never pass.
With this smell the memories return.
My budget for the next weeks is exhausted. But there is still enough place on the list of the wishes. I just have discovered, that Oriental Lumpur isn't traded so high-pricedly at all . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . !
