Where others failed, Buxton leans into the burnt, ashy, rubbery notes and combines them with leather to make something beautiful. Addictive.

Caramelised popcorn with sputters of ash. Nutty and toasty but also quite thin and transparent. For a gourmand hater this might turn you.

Campy in that the “gender” of the fragrance goes either way. Shaving foam and roses. Soapy jasmine and metallic ambroxan. And it works!

On my skin: a coconutty airy fragrance with a hint of dewy wetness that lifts quite wonderfully in the air. Divorced from meaning it’s fine.

Smoky, ashy, dusty aldehydes similar to New Look but somehow more demented and cigarette-like. Addictive but also not exactly appealing. Hmm
