Funny thing is when Drakkar Noir first came on the market in 1982 i never paid any attention to it. However all these yrs later i find myself searching all over the internet for an early 80s bottle because I've come to love Drakkar Noir. Simply put it was one of only two fragrances in the 1980s where every man owned a bottle. The other scent was Azzaro PH. I own 3 vintage bottles. 1 from 1991 and the other 2 from 1993. Very masculine and the oakmoss at the base really packs a punch. A true 80s powerhouse with good longevity. I get about 7hrs of wear which is sufficient. The very first formula contained patchouli which made it really stand out above all others but in 1989 the patchouli note was removed for SOME reason which made the fragrance have a detergent kind of vibe at the base. That's why i search high and low for that very first batch. Hopefully I'll come across it.

Him from Hanai Mori is a delicious woody fragrance that lasts just about all day. Fabulous value for the price and the scent itself is impressive as well. The best part is you don't have to spray 21 times to get the desired result. Hanai Mori also has good sillage that lingers long after you've left the room I've been told. Soon as this bottle is finished I'll quickly be purchasing another! ;)

I presently own 4 bottles plus 1 after shave of this marvelous juice and i could buy 10 more. I have versions from 1990 to 2019 and all is well. Love the sweetness of it and for the money there is nothing better. Longevity is about 9hrs b4 i need to reapply but i think that's great for a scent under $20. Hasn't really changed much since inception except the color being a little more pink. Anyway it's a beautiful scent that takes me back to my youth. I love powerhouse frags from the 70s 80s and 90s. Perfumers today should take a page out of Joops book.

This screams masculinity through and through. The greeny pine together with the leather and oakmoss take center stage after a couple hrs. Longevity is fine but could be better. I always carry a decant. It's no longer in production so the price for a full bottle will be significant but it's worth every penny. Wish they still made fragrances like this nowadays but sadly they don't. One of my faves for sure

I recently purchased a lancaster bottle of Davidoff Cool Water expecting great things and the scent is amazing but longevity is poor. 4hrs MAX! Shoulda known better than to expect anything more because it's an aquatic and those types of fragrances don't last long no matter who makes it or when it's launched. Not quite sure why this is but it's definitely a fact. If it's in your future to purchase this item be preparex
