I also became aware of "Club de Nuit Intense" via Aventus, which I like to wear as a unisex fragrance, like many "men's fragrances". And I must confess that I find him more exciting than Aventus.

In the top note I hardly notice any differences, heart - but especially base note have more depth for me. On my skin, Club de Nuit Intense develops with a smoky and thus slightly more tart note, which I attribute to patchouli (I can of course be wrong). I also like the woody component of patchouli in, for example, L'Homme by Prada or Habit Rouge by Guerlain. For me, Club de Nuit Intense also lasts much longer, also in the sillage I find him in advantage over Aventus.

That you can not compare the prices is obvious, I see Club de Nuit Intense but definitely not as a "cheap - variant", but as an equal fragrance in the fruity / fresh category.

Yes, Tom Ford's Oud Wood is probably the best known (though not the first), but certainly one of the most discussed oud perfumes. I say perfumes on purpose, because the oud scent has been used in the oriental world for more than 2000 years.

And yes, in combination with spices, oud becomes a sensual, smoky fragrance experience. I especially love these woody notes in Oud Wood, but also in other oud perfumes.

But no, if you know Oud Wood, you don't know all oud perfumes. As unfortunately with all things that are in vogue, there are imitators who can't hold a candle to the most famous (and this fame will have its justification). Then an Oud - Perfume looks quickly musty. But there are also very well made, independent oud perfumes, which can compete with oud wood for its place as the measure of all oud perfumes.

As already described in my commentary on "Oud by Vince Camuto", I do not want to call this one a fragrance twin, although there are parallels. Both fragrances feature other woods besides the oud, which are particularly evident in the base note. Vince Camuto's oud, however, still has spice components that make the fragrance more complex, warmer and softer for me. Especially saffron and nutmeg add another dimension to the fragrance, which changes slightly over time, but by no means becomes trivial.

So if you want to extend your "oud - experience", you should refer to the oud of Vince Camuto.

It's as if you take a piece of music that has a beautiful, catchy melody per se and combines the chords (chords are also present in fragrances) to a perfect harmony. Especially saffron and nutmeg add another dimension to the scent, which changes slightly over time, but never becomes trivial. For me, this is the fragrance that suits me and my skin a little better in most situations and moods.

Any day of the week in any city on any form of public transportation. All kinds of smells penetrate my perception, most of them I would like to be able to do without. You can look away, with a little practice (practiced daily in a relationship) you can also listen away, but unfortunately you cannot completely switch off your sense of smell. But my silver shield prevents me from letting these impressions affect my well-being. The scent is so fresh and clear and of such cleanness that one feels like being on a snow field at the glacier. You really don't need to be blessed with good powers of combination to understand why the fragrance is called "Himalaya". For me, the head, heart and base notes turn out to be much less than most other fragrances as separate olfactory pictures that show a typical temporal course. Himalaya simply smells the whole day (at mit the shelf life is quite long) like "no matter what comes, I stay clean and fresh"

Night falls over Bora Bora, the last rays of the sun hit my skin. A gentle breeze blows down from Mont Otemanu over the dense forests and brings a smell of woods. The bouquet of spices and the freshness of citrus fruits are added to this. With time, the night becomes darker and the scent less citrusy, as the spices come out more strongly. I am possessed by a wonderful lightness and a feeling of happiness. It's one of those perfect moments that you can't really describe, but that you remember for a lifetime... every time you perceive Un Jardin après la Mousson.
