Gucci Rush connects me with a story tinged with nostalgia. I'm taking you with me to San Diego in 1999, when I had enough of the dreary life in Switzerland and decided to travel to California for half a year. No sooner said than done. Besides unforgettable experiences in a Chevy convertible on California's famous highways as well as fancy city trips to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, I visited among other things a language school in San Diego Down Town. At that time, the body cult had me firmly in its grip, so that in addition to romantic beach volleyball sessions on the beach, I even worked out in the gym at lunchtime. While chatting intensively on the cross trainer with my charming Frenchman from Paris, I leafed through Vogue magazine and discovered a sample of Gucci Rush fragrance. Once smelled it was done around me. I had fallen head over heels in love with the peach-freshness bouquet with coriander-vanilla topping. In the next Macy's I treated myself without further ado the simple red plastic bottle, which was much too expensive for my circumstances at that time. To this day, I do not know exactly whether it was the influence of the coriander or the Frenchman that drove me out of my mind. Be that as it may, since then this flacon may not be missing in any case in my perfume collection. After all, no one wants to do without California-Feelings and French-Kiss from 1999. Especially not when the Backstreet Boys warble their hit "I want it that way" from their album Millennium...

It's spring, without a doubt. I can tell because I'm excited about flower scents like never before in winter. My little lemon tree, which had to hibernate indoors, is bearing its first lemon blossoms. The scent is sweetly intense, even very strong. As if it wants to say, "see me, smell me, I am ready for spring, for feelings, for life"! That's how intense and ready the fragrance "for her" seems to me. Floral intense and strongly sweet, for the woman who is ready to be seen, even smelled. Because she is ready for spring, for feelings and she wants to show that for all the world. Not a fragrance for every day, but definitely one for intense and bold spring feelings.

When I wear the scent POUDREE on me, I feel catapulted into the streets of Paris in no time at all, wearing a nude-colored silk knit dress, little makeup and long, loose hair - blown away by the wind. At the café au lait at the Place d'Opéra I attract all eyes on me, but as a femme fatale I take it calmly, after all I am French now. Mais ouiiii!!! The scent lasts and lasts and lasts - even if a bit faded - even until the next day. The city of love just never goes out of fashion and I'm convinced this fragrance won't either. Bravo Narciso!

The search for a new fragrance led me to "the scent". After a trial spray, I immediately felt in a good mood, and the peach and freesia scent put a permanent smile on my face. I sniff, exhale, and smile. I find that when fragrances can do that, they are worth buying. And in fact, to this day, I have never regretted it. The scent is now for me not a perfume that embodies the name "the scent" - it's too fruity light and sweet - to live up to that name. But hey, the good mood comes with him - and then stays. What more could a woman want?

Jean-Paul is of course well known, especially in the 90s he was the epitome of temptation, seduction, sensuality and wickedness. The female super torso was everywhere. When I think of Gaultier, Madonna at her best undoubtedly comes to mind. Wild, sexy, rebellious. I already really liked "Classique" at the time, but "la belle" - once smelled - captivated me. Gaultier's image was restaged: more lovely, rounder, sweeter, just "plus belle". The woman in a fragrance cloud of La Belle may also be a little rounder and sweeter and in between treat herself to a pear pie with vanilla cream.
