Soft and crispy refresher
The scent of Rhubarbe Ecarlate is really totally nice refreshing, the rhubarb of course in the foreground not too sour very pleasant by the musk. A Freshie that is not at all biting. The fragrance Hermes-typically super elegant and natural, I find it perfect as a refresher for the hot summer, or after a day at the seaside when you're freshly showered, a great restaurant heads, or directly from the shower off into bed, the perfect companion, if it may be something light.
There is just exactly the problem, he is after 30-45 minutes, unfortunately, barely perceptible, a fragrance development there is not really with Rhubarbe Ecarlate, he is very straightforward and hardly changes.
I like to layer it with Acqua di Parma Mandorlo di Sicilia, sounds weird but is awesome :-D and although both are of very short duration, they complement each other quite well and last quite long.
Conclusion super tasty, crisp and at the same time gentle Refresher could definitely work on his Perfomance

Gypsy in the Woods
Gypsy Water is for me one of the best fragrances of Byredo, which is why I had to include it in my assortment of course!
Gypsy Water is not actually the appropriate name of this Byredos, because he has except his idea, nothing aquatisches.
I perceive him as very spicy, woody, warm & pleasant, a slight effervescence he has through its citrus notes also. In the background all the time very present, the incense note.
Gypsy Water is a great casual fragrance, absolutely unisex and perfect for the office as well as for the small weekend trip.
The only drawback, he holds really hardly, even with very many sprays on the clothes, he is already after a short time barely noticeable.
Therefore, Gypsy Water is probably rather nothing for those who long for a fantastic, room-filling sillage, but rather those of you who want to stay pleasantly in the background with their fragrance. Like a delicate well after herbs and woods smelling gust of wind in the forest, if the wind is right

Vanilla not for everyone
First I have to say, I think Allende has not deserved the many negative reviews ;-) Or rather, the taste seems to drift with this Xerjoff clearly apart.
I'm a big vanilla & admittedly also Xerjoff/Casamorati fangirl, may be that I am therefore not entirely objective.
I smell: vanilla, magnolia & musk and find the vanilla in Allende special, not like the conventional vanilla scents too heavy and very warm, rather a light floral vanilla. The synthetics that are mentioned here by some, I can understand, I guess the musk is "guilty" of it. However, that is what makes Allende special in my opinion and I don't know of any perfume that comes close to it. The drydown is very soft vanilla/floral, slightly creamy, but just by the white flowers and the musk no gourmand!
Compliments: rather few, masculine.
As a conclusion, I can say vanilla lovers come here fully at their expense, and also who likes Casamorati Lira / or Bouquet Ideale & Italica, will come here at his expense, all others find the fragrance probably rather difficult.
A plus point is definitely the packaging and the bottle, there are small meteorite pieces and a Zertifkat supplied, yes the marketing has probably struck, but what can I say?! With me it works :-)

Rose meets mocha
Reminds me strongly of Intense Cafe by Montale, although I find Delox much more refined, elegant and not as acrid. I find Delox is absolutely unisex and can be who one likes the rose-coffee combination in great signature fragrance.
Watch out when overspraying, is definitely not a crowd pleaser and can definitely be slightly intrusive and acrid in the top notes with too many sprays. In the drydown it becomes very creamy and pleasing and yet the fragrance remains very special and a true niche fragrance
