Ombre Leather in a tuxedo
"Parfum" might suggest it is the same as Ombre Leather only stronger, but that is not the case.

Ombre Leather Parfum is a less filthy, more floral and clean version of the original Ombre Leather. When I say less filthy, that isn't necessarily a good change, depending on your personal taste of course.
It is a nice perfume for sure, but to me it doesn't deliver the same intoxicating experience as the original, as in "I can't stop smelling this". Oh, and the Parfum is unisex in comparison to the original which I would classify as quite a manly perfume.

Anyways Ombre Leather Parfum is a lovely fragrance of very high quality, has great performance, and most people around you will find it pleasant. To sum it up; I would wear this at a wedding over the original, but for everything else, I prefer the original Ombre Leather.

Try both before buying a bottle as you will most likely prefer one over the other!

Masculine luxury
Very little wows me these days in designer perfumery, but Ombre Leather actually gave me a "wow" experience when I tested it in the store. I had to get the 10ml right then and there, and when it runs out I'm probably getting the 100ml.

Ombre Leather smells luxurious, masculine and warm. It may sound weird, but it does kinda smell like the interior of a brand new luxury car with leather interior in the best way possible. When I wear OL it makes me strive to be the best and most successful version of myself, as I feel like this is a successful person's fragrance. Even tho I'm in my early 20s I feel like this scent fits me very well.
I see a lot of people say this is a nighttime fragrance, but I don't quite agree as this can be worn any time of the day unless you're in a hotter climate.
Also, I love that you can get a 10ml size of Ombre Leather so you can test it before you opt in for a bigger bottle.

A 10/10 fragrance for me is one where the ingredients work incredibly well together, it smells intoxicating and leaves you wanting more while making you feel great. With that in mind, I can safely say Ombre Leather is a 10/10.

Versatile citrus woody scent
Lovely fresh citrus woody scent. I actually really think the balance of wood and freshness is perfect for my taste. I'll be wearing more of this in the future for sure. It reminds me a bit of Percival as to what occasions this would be great for, i.e. daily use or for anything really. But it is a tad more woody and deep than Percival. Such a lovely and versatile fragrance is great to have!

As for the Aventus comparisons, I understand why some people see it as similar due to the scent profile, but it's really not that similar. It's not like someone would ask you if you're wearing Aventus. This is its own scent and it's great!

It's ok for the price
As pointed out by other reviews here, Explorer isn't exactly a performer... The scent is pleasant enough, but I am probably a bit of a snob since Explorer gave me a headache after not too long of wearing.

One of the issues is since longevity is so bad, two sprays are far from enough so you'll spray at least five times. Sadly it makes it just smell more, not longer. The synthetic lime of Explorer becomes quite clear as more you spray, and something about this synthetic bergamot gave me headaches. That's why I sold it to a friend in less than a week.

That being said, Explorer can be worth it if you like the scent and don't care too much about longevity as it's quite cheap.

Also, of course Explorer has been compared to Aventus since their DNAs are in the same street. That's how I first heard of Explorer. But let me tell you that it's a long street with many houses in between. It's 70% similar at most, and you won't get that smooth perfection of pineapple bergamot with smokey birch.
You would have Aventus if you combined Explorer with Layton Exclusif. Instead, you get strong peppery bergamot, which is quite synthetic and can cause headaches as it did to me. So it sadly isn't Aventus for one-tenth of the price, but if you've tested it and like what you smell, go for it!

Simple explanation of Hacivat
Where Aventus is more sharp and fresh, Hacivat is more round and sweet. I get vibes of honey and cinnamon instead of Aventus' bergamot and birch freshness. That's the simplest way to describe it IMO, and Hacivat is a very pleasant fragrance.

I will not be getting a bottle as I prefer Aventus since they are similar enough that I don't feel justified spending that much on a bottle of Hacivat.
