The ultimate dumb reach
Percival is one of few colognes I own a bottle of, at the same time It's not one I would immediately think of as one of my favorites. The bottle perfectly represents the juice inside it: pure blue.
Percival is a safe bet. It's a mass appealing, familiar, performant blue fragrance and it's the definition of "dumb reach". With Percival you know you'll smell good the whole day. That's why it's one of three full-sized 125ml bottles I've got in my collection.
However, the reason I won't immediately think of it as one of my absolute favorites is that it's simply too boring in regards to my other colognes. It's not unique, it's not interesting, but Percival is made to be a mass-appealing beast, and damn straight it is.
Therefore I think Percival is worth every penny and should be in your collection.

Pleasant but powerful green-ness
A manly, classic, pleasant cologne, and I know I'll wear this in spring although summer and fall will work great too. I'm 20 and that might be why it's only a like and not a love as I feel this is a scent for guys 30 and up, but I'll try it in spring and see if it becomes a love then.
Pierce Brosnan wore GIT and I think he is a perfect representation of what GIT aims to be. A classy, grown, sophisticated scent, but also not afraid to get his hands dirty with that woody peppermint. Oh, and both are Irish :).
Performance isn't good on my skin as I've got Aventus on one hand and GIT on the other, and GIT lasts and projects half of what Aventus does. Both are recent batches. Getting a high-quality oil of GIT might be the better choice for me as I would like better performance.
Also, to those complaining this is similar to Cool Water: It is CW that is similar to GIT, not the other way around. Green Irish Tweed is the OG of this scent DNA and is of higher quality than CW.

The perfect cologne for men
Scent: There's a reason Aventus is known as "the king", it's because Aventus is a fantastic interpretation of the ultimate/perfect men's cologne. It's fresh in the opening yet interesting and smokey, just pure perfection. The pineapple note seems to be dialed down in my 2020 batch and the bergamot and blackcurrant are dominant instead.
Some think it can be a little boring in 2022 due to Explorer and other inspired designers, but Aventus is still better than the designers in every way, besides the price tag of course.
Performance: Haven't had the pleasure of trying the older batches, but the performance is pretty good on my skin. Hard to make an estimate on projection, but it probably projects for 3-4 hours and stays on skin for 12+ hours. I was actually quite impressed when I could clearly smell Aventus on my skin after a shower.
