Take me Baby to Coney Island
This is so unique and so beautifully composed, i'm glad to have it as part of my fragrance collection. I know many people detest the Bond No.9 fragrance range but I am a big fan of them and Coney Island is definetly one of the stand-outs, not only for its uniqueness but for its quality.

The Margarita is the true star of Coney Island, it offers something Strong, Fruity, Salty and altogether something very unexpected. The initial burst is supported by the occasional whiff of Luscious Caramel and a very linear and creamy vanilla-chocolate note which seems to just blend with the Margarita, creating what smells almost like the perfect cocktail-dessert sort of scent.

I've in all honesty, never smelt anything like Coney Island before- its the perfect Party scent. Its very bold but avoids being obnoxious and has fantastic staying power to see you through til the next morning. Its a definite winner and very much worth its price-tag.

Perfect, Rich, Wealthy Patchouli
White Patchouli is without a doubt one of the best Patchouli fragrances that I have encountered on the market. It smells Rich, Bold, Sexy and quite unisex to my nose. Some people say it smells very feminine, but I think that its bold enough to be worn by both Men and Women.

I think one of the main reasons I love this fragrance is the fact that it is just blended so well, the notes are not competing for my attention, they've just closed into one another and formed a very strong and well put together scent. There are moments where the Patchouli shouts out for attention, but its quite tame and almost muted in this fragrance. Its not in your face and its not obnoxious in the way it is with fragrances like Angel and Tom Ford's Purple Patchouli (which irritates the life out of me).

I think this fragrance would suit confident people, it has an essence about it that just screams of confidence and wealth. But you don't need money to smell like you have it, although ironically you need alot of money to buy this lol. However though this is one of Tom's more affordable fragrances which makes the idea all the more appealing to me. I paid around US$150 for my bottle and its worth every penny. You do however need to be a Patchouli lover to enjoy this fragrance otherwise it'll just be a complete and utter disaster to your senses.

The staying power is fantastic, and the dry-down is just as good as the initial spray on to the skin. I urge everyone to go out and try this fragrance. Its worth a sniff- even if you don't like Patchouli or Tom Ford.

A Fantastic Starter Fragrance for the Younger Ones
Whilst I wouldn't call myself a fan of Justin Bieber, He is certainly smart with following the route of many other celebrities with creating his first signature fragrance dedicated to his fan-base. I have two younger sisters and we live in the U.S where Bieber fans are everywhere. They're like a hive of bees, say something wrong about Justin and they'll attack you. I couldn't help but wonder though- would they appreciate this perfume that has been dedicated to them or would they buy into it simply because of the name on the pretty bottle?

I sniffed this because I had to. I had to smell what Justin thought would smell nice on a girl and I wasn't surprised. I was actually quite disappointed but then again- this fragrance is not targeted at me, its targeted at a very young, female audience and when i tried to put myself in their shoes, it all of a sudden appeared to me that this would be their idea of the perfect scent.

But what initially disappointed me about this fragrance was that it seems more like a mash-up of different celebrity fragrances which are already on the market. It has an incredible sweetness to it which is backed up by what smells like a very fresh floral bouquet. Its all very standard stuff- not anything ground breaking but its very well suited to its target audience.

I bought a bottle each for my two sisters and they quite enjoy it despite its crappy staying power, but i'm quietly waiting for them to ditch their celebrity scents and then come on over to something more sophisticated and dynamic. Here's Hoping. :)

Sensual and Womanly
Heartbreaker by Jenna Jameson is probably one of the best celebrity fragrances which have landed on the market. Sadly it seems as though the fragrance has gone under-appreciated by consumers, many of which who have been quick to Judge Jenna for who she is which is just pathetic.

Jenna should be proud of the fact that her name is attached to this fragrance because it executes a good composition with Strong, Sexy and feminine notes which all seem to combine and create a fantastic fragrance. There is an incredible sweetness about Heartbreaker with the Raspberry seeming to lather itself all over the Roses, creating something powerful and whole heartedly feminine. Magnolia adds a floral and strong touch whilst bringing a creaminess and incredible sexiness to the fragrance.

The drydown is like the..lets say climax of the fragrance. The Tonka brings a whole other level to the fragrance, making the fragrance smell almost edible, leaving me in a state of wanting to lick and taste my own skin.
I seriously hope Jenna considers releasing another fragrance because this is just fantastic and is very affordable. Its ironic how something cheap can smell so expensive and appear to be far superior to alot of the over-priced and over-hyped rubbish that people seem to glorify. Go Jenna!

Illuminating Beauty
Japon Noir

I walked through the garden today, a cloudy cold rainy day...wearing Japon Noir makes me feel sad in a way, aside from its warmth, it comes off very hostile..almost abrupt..the leather squeezes hold of my neck, the patchouli runs its way down my lips leaving a dirty earthy after taste and the jasmine looks me in the eye...all the beauty in the world slowly tormented and destroied by the powerful leather.

I kept walking through the garden..fallen petals kissing my toes, grass caressing my ankles..my finger tips brushing against the flowers. I cant help but feel somewhat dangerous with Japon Noir on my skin, almost as if this were the scent of an assasinator. Dark, violent and so beautiful..so perfect. I think the sense of fear i get from this is that the leather note doesnt quit, it literally enevelopes my body as if i were in a bondage dungeon with an audience of beautiful angelic people, looking at me..looking at my destruction.

I dont think this represents the beauty and the heritage of Japanese culture, but it for me..represents the underground..the people beneath the streets and the sakura trees...filled with darkness..waiting hungrily to release themselves out onto the night. I love the spiciness of Japon Noir, its as if im sitting in an old Japanese tea house with steam bursting from the small tea pots and beautiful geishas fanning themselves in anticipation for what is to come. But once this settles and calms down..i find myself floating in water..confused but at peace with this fragrance and all its strange beauty
