It's been reissued!
EDITED for clarity:
I love this scent. I was devastated to learn it had been discontinued but I tracked down a bottle of the older EDP right before the relaunch (I also own a decant of the parfum, as well as a bottle of the EDT. Yes, I'm a Baiser du Dragon freak!). Then I come to find out that it has just been reissued (beginning of 2013- EDP only) and is now available at Nordies, Neiman, etc. It's sultry, rich, oriental, slightly masculine, but at the same time all woman. It's strong and has nice longevity and sillage. I love the nuttiness and boozy qualities. Just fabulous. Although I think it's more of a mature fragrance, I'm in my 20's and I love it! It's not as crazy big as something like Tabu, but it still has that sort of spicy, delicious but not gourmand, heavy, sexy feel to it. To me it's sort of the next generation of that type of scent. It's loud but not so "in your face" that you're afraid to wear it in public. And oddly enough, I do find a strange resemblance to Dior Addict in the drydown, but maybe that's just me :)

The fragrance love of my life!
It's hard to put into words how I feel about this perfume. It's magical. I am sooo lucky to have obtained a bottle (and one more on the way! Yippeee!) of this gem. I never realized I was an iris lover until this beauty came my way. At first it's fresh, with a dash of bergamot, but the iris appears right out of the gate. The perfume settles slightly into a very lovely, feminine, bright iris. I don't really get any cinnamon, but then again I haven't really looked for it. When that intoxicating iris eventually leaves it's a little sad, but then the beautiful drydown leaves you wanting more. It's a soft, powdery, sweet, white chocolate and vanilla confection bordering on gourmand but still classic and lovely, as only Guerlain can do. I feel so feminine, sexy, and classy wearing this scent, and it has just enough vanillic sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth. To me it's utter perfection, and were it not for the outrageous price and unicorn-like availability, I would have to consider this my signature.

Smells like licorice, but not something I want to smell like
This is your typical Demeter. Yes, it smells like licorice! It smells like black licorice, but not the real kind with the salt, more like the black version of Red Vines. No matter, it's spot on. The problem is that the scent is just too much for me to actually wear. I guess I thought I could layer this with other scents, but no, it's overpowering. And then of course like a typical Demeter, after 30 minutes,
poof
, the scent is gone. So if you are looking for a strong, candied licorice scent that does not last, this is for you. Otherwise you might want to look for a perfume already containing a more sophisticated licorice note such as Hypnotic Poison L'Elixir (if you can find it!)
