What did he ever do to you?
I think this fragrance is the worst rated I've ever tested.... And since I've had well over 500 on my skin, I have to express my astonishment at this rating. Not only does it not deserve it - on the contrary, in the realm of aquatic designer fragrances, it actually does quite well. I think it has just a slight shower gel impact. For me, ginger / juniper / sage and the salty notes dominate, and that fits very well - clearly, is not an Acqua di Parma fragrance experience - there is clearly synthetics in play with this one - but without really annoying.

Conclusion: Who is looking for a coherent, but light Aquaten, and can live with discreet synthetics, is here absolutely right

I am addicted
The top note blew me away the first time I tried it - at the time I hadn't read the DP yet and so didn't know what it was that I was smelling.... Admittedly, I didn't come up with rose - but once you do, you wonder why you didn't come up with it right away - well, that might be because it starts with a 'rose sauna infusion' - that sounds weird, but smells quite wonderful - rosemary and rose harmonise beautifully. The scent changes over time to a rose-tea scent - first spicy, then sweet - even very sweet, almost liqueur-like - but the other ingredients balance it out very well; gradually the sweetness fades and the rose-tea is underlaid with light wood; I can't quite put my finger on where the woody impression comes from - perhaps from the rose geranium? From the incense resin or benzoin rather not - they work, however, quite differently than expected and are much more discreet than they are usually known - they play in the orchestra of fragrances well before the base, but change absolutely nothing in the dominance of the rose

Conclusion: who likes rose, should definitely test this one! Only drawback - for an EdP the durability is really outrageous - I would say so max 4h.

You can smell ozone! But do you want to?
Accompanied with the full scoop of ozone - until now I never thought about what that smelled like, but would argue - it's well hit with this scent. Well and what does it smell like? I would say grey, dusty, chemical, salty. Whether that was a good decision to create a fragrance around it I would doubt something, because the fragrance experience is quite something exhausting; interesting but always!
After about half an hour, the flowers gradually come through; the honey one guesses rather than that one smells him, but it becomes pleasantly salty / sweet without any penetrance.
The components of the base are also far from showing any penetrance, but add little dominant in the overall picture with.

Conclusion: If one had used the ozone less prominently, this could have been a fine light summer fragrance; the ozone overkill makes it but difficult to wear

Ernest Beaux is to blame!
Basically, I love the old classics, but often have problems with fragrances that have been designed for ladies (eg Mitsuko - at all often in Guerlain fragrances, although not specified in the DP) - there is always a fragrance ingredient that I can not stand... Until now, I had not understood aldehydes as a fragrance in their own right, but thought that this chemical fragrance ingredient was just to 'support' the other fragrances it contained. Now knows that the Aldheydkomplex can be understood as an independent note - and the mystery is solved - the Aldehyde fragrance is to blame!

Unfortunately, he haut also here full purely and overlays in my fragrance perception simply everything - citric I can not smell at all; also in the HN are with me the aldehydes mega dominant, so that the flowers only work in the background; with the classic base they then finally disappear from my nose... - that is unfortunately but much too late to enjoy this certainly wonderful classic.

Would be interesting to know if I'm the only one who feels this way....

More than the sum of its (component) parts
Love it! Although you could say it smells like a pine needle infusion for bubble bath.... - but only if you're really mean! This one is soooooo much more! I think esotericists would describe this as an aura scent - at least in my mind. Wrigley's Spearmint would somehow also be an (inappropriate) association to have on first impression. Sure, light, tangy and so not yet smelled (which actually always triggers enthusiasm with me) incense / moss / musk can be identified quite clearly - with the rest it's hard - especially white blood I perceive zero - he is just more than the sum of its (stock) parts.
And definitely worth mentioning - he holds and holds and holds.... Nothing stops him - in the morning sprayed on; evening sports and sweat - pfff; Afterwards showering - sure, but with it you get him - really amazing - also not loose. Even the next morning it can still be perceived - ergo sum - the durability is bomb! Sillage is also quite long room-filling - a push is absolutely enough.
