Slight disappointment...
I have the fragrance for a long time as a deodorant stick and I am mega thrilled! The was included in a large bundle and so I am - although unintentionally and sth. happy - came to my first encounter with The Scent. In the deodorant stick, the top note is a constant component - the sweetness is kept well in check and the ginger fine-spicy supported by the lavender and the fruit - the leather is rather only imaginable.
Ergo - I was very close to treat myself to the fragrance.... Today I tested a sample of the fragrance - and am on the one hand glad not to have bought him and on the other hand somehow disappointed that the EdT is very different from the deodorant stick. The EdT also has the really nice top note - but only for 5 min - then comes with power a wave of undefined sweetness that glues everything. In the background, somehow leather is perceived - but from the rest remains no more than a difuse hint. Too bad! Could have been a good one!

Yes? What does it smell like?
Frangipani as a fragrance ingredient is always very confusing, as the scent of the flower varies greatly depending on the subspecies - in this case, my sensation - tells me that it is very fruity here; dark red fruit - most likely blackberry - luckily I like the scent (2 of my favourite scents are 'Black and Bay' & 'Mortal Skin'). The berry is a bit synthetic and rather sweet, but doesn't drift off into unpleasant things. The part stays for about an hour, after that comes the tea - yes!?, or not - so I don't take it as tea, especially not as Matcha... but anyway, it goes well with the berries and with time it mixes to something undifinable. At the latest in the drydown, wood is definitely added, even if it doesn't show up in the DP - in my opinion sandalwood and in the harsher version.

Amazing dominance
Have the fragrance now for 2 weeks and find it totally exciting. I don't think it's appropriate to give a pyramid of scents here - it's all (and sooo much more) right from the start and still the progression can't be described as straight linear - again and again another note creeps easily into the foreground.

Now I come to the headline - I played around with the scent a bit and layered different other scents with it - the result was unexpected - the scent swallows everything! No matter what I tried - it was gone in seconds and had no influence on the scent. Only Zitrik, which suits the fragrance really well - it allows some space. I can't remember ever having experienced such 'arrogance' with any other fragrance

Something different
I really like him! It has something that I haven't noticed with other fragrances... although the perception is not that easy - it is somehow subliminal - I would definitely say the aldehydes - what most people here describe as 'metallic' - I don't feel it as metallic - but I can't name it concretely either!
Now to the fragrance - the top note is a cucumber/dill with ginger - but that's quickly gone and then there's green grapefruit (probably the interaction of lemongrass and Matcha tea). This stays like that for a few hours, but the tea gets stronger at some point and the lemongrass can now definitely be named. The base note comes through quite late... All in all, there is an invigorating freshness from the beginning to the end. An ideal summer scent, which is not at all like other summer scents!

From me 100% recommendation to buy! But because of the aldehydes, which often provide for differentiated scent perceptions, I would recommend to test it before (on the skin!).

It's possible to have opposite views...
This is actually an answer to the commi of Frau Holle - but since I am not given enough signs for this, so as a commi:

I'm totally opposed to that - what you find positive about the creation - 'We've learned that it's great when the ingredients of the perfume form a unity. When the perfume doesn't just tell you the ingredients. Because that would be really boring and unimaginative - i find it negative here - no fragrance progression and somehow totally boring.
Positive to emphasize remains however - I can only think of one perfume where I find that it shows strong similarity - Pure White Cologne by Creed - but at least something is still happening with this one. and yet both are somehow 'fresh lingerie' fragrances.
