Like a good rum in the back seat of a cheap Bentley
Due to numerous recommendations, I have ventured despite my young age to this yet very adult-seeming fragrance. And to take that in advance: I regret it not a bit!

The flacon is elegantly designed and in my opinion, overall very well done. The glass is really thick and feels valuable. I still have to deduct one star, because the sheet is quite thin and the valuable overall impression somewhat clouded.

The sillage is definitely strong, but in my opinion not as excessive as it is partly praised here. The durability, however, is really outstandingly good.

With the fragrance, I had rather mixed feelings at first. The opening is really strong and smells intensely of pepper and rum. For my nose at first almost a bit unpleasant. Legt the whole thing, however, after a while, one comes to enjoy a wonderfully spicy heart note, which is characterized primarily by rum, cinnamon and a trace of nutmeg. In the drydown, these continue to dominate, but are rounded off by leather and something smoky. This is not reminiscent of tobacco, but still comes the feeling of sitting with a good glass of rum and a cigar in the back seat of a Bentley. At a price of 21 € for 100 ml, this also has an incredibly good price-performance ratio.

Bentley for Men Intense is definitely adult, somehow uncomfortable and requires a wearer who knows what he wants to radiate. For me as a student, he is then but a little too stark, but the quality that Bentley delivers us there at the price is really incredibly good. I will definitely keep it and hope to "grow into it" as soon as possible.

P. Diddy & The Bad Boy Family presents: Mediocre Leisure Scent
Since the fragrance had only three reviews here so far and for a little more than 20€/100ml was to be had, I thought I'll try a blind buy and make myself an image. And well, as the headline and my rating suggests he has me unfortunately not just blown away.

Let's start with the presentation: The bottle is kept simple, which is nothing bad in itself. But he is just so incredibly boring. The thing has absolutely no charm, because you really wonder what the people in the design department have thought of it. For the price range, he is at least quite neatly processed, but that's it for me again.

The sillage is okay, but you get in my opinion unfortunately little of the entire fragrance composition with. For me, especially the sweet vanilla stands out more penetrating than I had expected in this dark bottle.

Really disappointed I was about the durability. Already after 3 hours I could hardly perceive the fragrance on my skin. On my clothes he held better, but also not outstanding.

After an arguably synthetic spicy opening, a sweet top note sets in. In my opinion, the mandarin comes out really pleasant in combination with the mint and pepper. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, the vanilla sneaks into the mix and stays with it until the end, which has me the thing a bit verdoreben. The just described interplay in the top note is brutally quickly disturbed by the early emerging vanilla and also covered quite promptly; and much more comes after that just not. What one is left with is a sweet mishmash that is nothing half and nothing whole. Too bad actually, because I really like the prelude and in my opinion has quite character. So it is unfortunately only enough for me to a mediocre and inconspicuous leisure or party fragrance.

Fresh laundry at a good price
To this classic can not really say anything that has not already been said at some point.
Elegant bottle conveys exactly the aquatic freshness that the fragrance also has. Sillage and durability are a maximum of average, but that does not bother here. The fragrance is good at what it does and this is also reflected in its success over the past 30 years. Personally, this smell of detergent is not good enough for me to gain more from the whole thing than an additional freshness kick during work or after sports. Who this is enough, however, finds that right here at an incredibly good price of 12-15 € per 100 ml.

Shockingly good
With CK One, the people at Calvin Klein back then a real stroke of luck succeeded and undoubtedly one of the most famous fragrances of the past century. As well known as he is justified way, as boring he has become in the meantime, unfortunately. Also the many different following offshoots of the series were nothing special: Everything already thousand times smelled and one will smell everything still thousand times. Accordingly, I was surprised to meet this rather bold and accordingly interesting variant of CK One.

The bottle is unsurprising and joins the rest of the series with its shape. The piercing green lettering is not very elegant but corresponds exactly to the image that a fragrance called "Shock" wants to convey; young, different, not for everyone. For me, a quite successful design, deduction there is unfortunately for the cheap atomizer without a lid, as it is unfortunately always typical for CK One.
The shelf life is with in order, but not outstanding. Sprayed on at noon, the smell is in the evening on the skin only subtly perceptible. On the clothes you take him even later still strongly perceived, but the whole thing seems heavy synthetic and confused and reminds little of the actual fragrance.
The sillage is in the first 2 hours really blatant! First sprayed on one is slain by a Gerückswelle after the other. While this criticize some here I felt it as very positive. A bold and exciting scent like this should do just that for me. After this rather strong opening, it settles down a bit and seems less penetrating. After about 5 hours, the scent is skin deep for me.
The really interesting thing about Shock is the scent itself. The opening is really very synthetic and not very pleasant. Setzt this but first unfolds the top note their full glory. Both clementine and lavender are clearly perceptible to me. The cucumber is not really identifiable as a single component, but its influence on the entire composition is unmistakable. The scent comes across as very sweet and striking, but somehow also surprisingly round. Once the sweetness from the prelude settles, the whole unfolds a pleasant spiciness. Only with the base note I could somehow not do much. This seemed to me simply like a cocktail of various popular base components; not bad, but no noteworthy personal character.

I got a 200 ml bottle for €23, so the price/performance is outstanding. Although the base note is quite weak this does not bother. Since the sillage at this point is already virtually non-existent anyway, I would rather tend to re-spray and enjoy the horny top notes again. At this price, that's not a problem at all. The fragrance is certainly not for everyone, but if you want to try a cheap fragrance that you have not smelled a thousand times, then the thing is definitely worth a blind purchase.

Worthwhile blind purchase
The fragrance was for me a blind purchase, what you can do at 15 € / 100 ml generally good conscience.

The bottle is kept simple and elegant and has a very pleasant-looking tint. However, this is neither particularly exciting nor unique, so for me just average.
The durability on the skin is okay at the price, but really rips nothing out. Sprayed on in the morning, you can still feel a slightly woody spice in the late afternoon. On clothes, however, the fragrance is still perceptible the next day.
A big minus represents for me the sillage. I feel the current rating of 6.6 as still too high. Already after 1-2 hours, the scent is really only perceptible in closer contact.
The fragrance itself, however, I find very good. After a fairly spicy opening can be perceived quickly the sweetness of the top note. Especially the plum comes across sufficiently strong for me to make the top note interesting, but the pepper prevents the fragrance from becoming overwhelmingly sweet. I also really like the interplay of ginger and mint in the heart notes, but it loses its character quite quickly and moves into the base notes. In the drydown, the fragrance becomes pleasantly woody with hints of tobacco and ginger.

Overall, I am satisfied with this blind purchase and can only recommend the fragrance. At prices of 15-20€/100ml you can not do much wrong. If the sillage would be better, the here really phenomenal. Especially with all the comparisons with Versace Eros, it's clear that you have to get in line at this point. You won't attract attention with it and it doesn't really scream party. However, who is looking for a cheap and really good everyday fragrance is definitely right here
