My number four, the Gummi Bear Juice
So, dear friends, it's time again to comment on my personal top 20 for my "perfume life". The people who have already stopped my comments are now 20, instead of 15.... So, back to Orion. The Orion is my official number 4, I have several perfumes in my collection, but I'm not quite sure if they will stay with me forever. So now I've decided to write a comment on every perfume from these Top 20 that I'll own. Now that Herod, Layton and Layton Exclusif have already been provided with a comment, the number 4 is now selected. Now let's get to the scent and the little story that follows on from it. Keyword "Aventus", you know? I almost thought, who doesn't know him, whether you like him now or not, no perfume is as well known as Aventus among people who deal with martyrdom. Why Aventus is proverb here? Because Orion, in my humble opinion, is Aventus in better. Don't get me wrong, I like the smell of Aventus and had it several times and relatively long also in my chosen ones, but in the end he was thrown out against this one!
Is Orion a clone? No way! No way! Does Orion have a large part of Aventus DNA? Somehow! But Orion is simply in my opinion, pure summer, it's sparkling, it's fruity, it's the right amount of sweet, the right amount of fresh, my goodness, wait a moment, I have to sniff it again..... Yeah, just dreamy! I would say, does anyone still know the gummy bear band? No matter if you sat in front of the TV yourself or your own children. So I thought it was absolutely great and when I got this fragrance under my nose, I immediately had to think about it. The gummy bear juice, which ensures that the consumer develops special powers for a while. That's how I feel when it blows around me and that's how it smells to me. That's what I'm thinking, he must have smelled!
I just can't get enough of it and I'd like to be right now.... Pfff Pfff..... Ah, beautiful!
Well enough of the enthusiasm, but really people, test that!
Performance is absolutely top league! Keeps 8-10 hours loose, which is an absolute dream for the fresh, fruity, fragrant DNA! Sillage is just as great! You are easily noticed all day long and can breathe a little bit of super power into everyone who walks past you for at least 6 hours!

If the comment hasn't made it clear enough, I LOVE that!
And so he moved in as my number four, who will accompany me in my life. We will have many more adventures where, with your Gummi Bear Juice effect, absolutely nothing will go wrong!

Thank you very much for reading and hopefully for your passion, also for wanting to enjoy the gummy bear nectar!
Your Dave! :)

Exclusif halt
Hello folks,

After some consideration Layton Exclusif has now made it into my Top 15 for life. I actually only wear mass-produced perfumes. So now one or the other will be surprised if he has not yet smelled the scent, but the scents. These scents look like something I'm not going to like at all, I thought after I ordered the sample. Oud and Zibet, when I read this just after I sampled the Fragrances du bois perfumes last week, absolutely notes around which I make a greater bow than around people who still think that the minimum of sprays to be perceived with Dior Sauvage is at 6. And believe me, that's why I'm going to keep a very wide open. I'm glad you could say "I did" here. Because there it was now "unfortunately" already too late.
So I figured before I keep souking him up here, I could smell the tube. See there, "it's not that bad", I thought to myself, so 3 sprays on it and off to work.

Fragrance: First of all, you can smell the oud all the time! And you smell something incredibly sweet. Both absolute no-go's individually for me. But both together is not so bad... is of course very objective, but as I said at the beginning I smell oud and something that smells slightly alcoholic and damn sweet. That stays for a few hours, about 2-3 so. Until it gets really beautiful in the base. I don't know what that is that makes this interplay of oud and sweetness so irresistible, but he had me wear after the third, so to speak. If you're wondering where the top note is, that's exactly what I was wondering... so maybe I'm just too short and my olfactory bulb hasn't been trained that much yet, but I only take 2 steps here. What fresh, or what aquatic, what the scents of the top note suggest, remain at least for me, also a presumption. An unconfirmed one, but a hunch. No but really, so who is here looking for something fresh, then he is here wrong.

Durability and charisma: As with almost all Marly fragrances, it lasts on my skin about 8-10 hours, depending on how the skin is currently conditioned. So absolutely top! While we're at Top, you can definitely say that about charisma! But not in a way that's annoying. Absolutely 10/10, not annoying, not weak on the chest, he does what he's supposed to do and that for a long time!

Opportunity: Absolute autumn, or rather winter perfume. Well, I'm an advocate of everyone wearing what they want, when they want. But then please don't stop if he's out with me somewhere... so in summer and spring, I find it absolutely inappropriate. Perfect for dating or in the office. But actually for all occasions in the right climate very suitable and beautiful.

Conclusion: Absolutely horny fragrance. He's moved into my top 15. Who hasn't tested yet.

JUST DO IT!

Do I smell a horse?
Hello dear people,

I'll get right to the point, for all those who don't want to hear any stories, but want to know whether they want to sample the scent and whether it is suitable for their collection. Reflection Man opens with a floral-sweet slap in the face. That smells awesome. It smells very balanced and well done and changes into a metallic sweetness in the heart note. This place smells like a very expensive shower gel to me. Which is really not meant negatively in this context. It smells expensive and is certainly crowdpleasing. These two notes, however, only smell very short, as just mentioned, and pass quite quickly into the base. And now we come to the heading. Because all of you, or maybe some of you, have already tried Cool Water and Green Irish Tweed. You may have smelled Individual and Original Santal. And I assure you, so at least in my perception there was a small but subtle difference in both examples. Despite their relative similarity, it was possible to distinguish between the two. So I just say, what is only true for the people who know PDM Pegasus, that nobody, absolutely nobody, can distinguish the Drydown from Pegasus and the Drydown from Reflection Man, IF it can be smelled in the air. Because one thing's for sure, Pegasus is a nuclear bomb! Reflection Man is more the gentleman of the two. This is of course as always absolutely sujective, but I could never tell the difference between the two scents if I smelled them in the air, except one was a little stronger than the other. So I commend you, is Pegasus too loud for you? Do you not want, despite the smell, which fits super in warmer weather, to hit in my opinion, completely so hard on the shit, if it is so warm and avoids to carry therefore said atomic bomb? But you like the metallic-floral-sweet scent DNA? Then get Reflection Man. Pegasus lasts a bit longer, is a lot louder, Reflection is quieter, a bit more reserved and still present. What you prefer here is up to you. If you haven't smelled Pegasus yet and Reflection is too quiet for you, or if you're not completely convinced of its charisma, you can't do anything wrong with Pegasus. I hope I was able to help one or the other to estimate the smell and wish you beautiful Easter!

Love
Dave

Layton is simply everything
Hello dear Parfumos,

Anyone who has read the rest of my comments knows that I am very squeamish with the selection criteria of my perfume collection, because I only want to come to a maximum of 15 perfumes that I own for the rest of my life. I am not an absolute perfume junkie who sees absolute art in every drop of perfume. And does not need or want to have 100 different fragrances. I like to dress up smartly and value my appearance. For me, this also includes owning or using the right perfume for every occasion. So and now to dear Layton. I orientate myself a lot on Youtube and other things, in order to get inspirations, which scent one can test. So of course I couldn't get past Parfums de Marly Layton. So I ordered a bottle of Layton some time ago. At first, I thought he wasn't so great. Somehow it smells damn good, but it's indefinable to me. I smell apple at the beginning, that's all. No fun, I don't smell a single ingredient except the apple at the beginning and the vanilla at the end. But as I mentioned before, I am so fond of perfume to smell good, not to challenge and train my nose in 1000 different ways. And god damn it, I tested that for several months. He's just brutally horny. For me, a fragrance must express a personality. Every perfume in my collection should represent a stereotype and therefore be perfect for various occasions. It must have an enormous durability and also be well perceived. Because I also like to smell the perfume for me alone, but if I want to convey a message, or I use perfume as a support for my well-groomed and styled appearance and and and this is to emphasize, for a bottle 150 euros, then I also want that other people smell me. To get back to the title, Layton is a certain stereotype for me. Layton is my "Swiss Army Knife". Layton is my leather jacket, my club visit, my business meeting, my coat, my jacket, my white shirt, my black sweater, my diving watch, my Seiko Cocktail Time, my cosy evening at the open fire, my restaurant visit... he's just mine! I could smell the bottle all day, I could spray it on myself and smell it all day, my girlfriend could put it on and I would smell her all day. So to get out of the swarm. Is he special? No, I don't think so. And that doesn't mean everything smells like that. You won't have smelled something like this in form yet, but you'll know it anyway. Just don't hold on to being so unbelievably irresistible.
I tell you people, buy a bottle and test, test not once, not twice, not three times, smell it again and again, again and again. He won't let you go. If I had to describe Layton with one word, which is rather ironic, because for me it is a perfume that absolutely everyone will like when it floats around in the air, which is incredibly difficult to differentiate in a fragrance direction, so anything but a word to describe, I would almost take a word that is rarely used here. Perfect! Perfect! Layton is my perfection. He's everything. And besides, since I just ordered it, it just moved into my Top 15 for life.
If you're looking for something that smells awesome, lasts a long time, radiates well and should get positive reactions, I'll gladly accept your thanks after you've read this comment and ordered a bottling, sniffed at it and after some time you'll be drawn into its spell and I've almost made you 150 euros poorer

With that in mind, what happened. May we all always smell good :)!

Top 10 for life
"Top 10 for life" is the headline. Who has now expected by the title, a praise, how this fragrance will be forever my favorite and has a place in my collection, I unfortunately have to disappoint him. I became interested in fragrances after seeing some reviews and Youtube videos. The familiar faces. So I slipped into the perfume game, most of my generation would probably say New German now, if you can call it that. You can say what you want about Youtuber and her "unbiasedness", but the fact is that it brings the subject out and people of my age group start to take an interest in it. To get back to the fragrance, there's hardly a "Top 10 for life" list (I know, wonderfully lurid or?) of Youtubers that doesn't mention Baccarat 540. If you take a look at my watchlist, you will notice that it is significantly influenced by Youtube reviews and "hype". I just want to smell good, I don't care about smelling artistic or especially refined. I wear what I love and hopefully others will love. Through the Youtube videos I had a clue, what you can try, if you want to realize the just mentioned. These Youtube videos and the corresponding "hype" that comes up with many fragrances, makes sure that I test some fragrances, but not under any circumstances, and this is to emphasize and to prove wonderfully with this example that I buy into the "hype". In other words, I orientate myself, but I must be 100% convinced of a fragrance in order to get it, because my absolute maximum will be a maximum of 20 fragrances. So I ordered a bottle of a lovely perfume, thank you very much again and received it this morning. My God, I was looking forward to the test, as I had already heard so much about this fragrance. Now my totally objective evaluation:

Fragrance:

Head/approx. 1 hour: I have long thought about how to describe it, look at the comment below me, that's it. It smells like you've been picking tomatoes all day and then getting the scent back from your hands with disinfectants sprayed wildly on the palm of your hand. I don't know how people who have this scent in their collection are doing, but I find it almost disgusting. I'm sorry that I find such hard words, but I find it quite unpleasant to smell...

Heart/ca. 1/1,30 hours : The top note has unfortunately not completely disappeared yet... but it becomes less chemical, ambergris gets through easily and you can sense how the fragrance will smell in the base. It becomes more woody and therefore a little more complex.

Base / about 4-6 hours: It's finally time, even the last bit of the top note is gone. It now smells really pleasant, very pleasant, not too sweet ambergris mixes with wood, that is the only thing I still notice. It smells really pleasant, but also not very complex, or so that I would say "Oh, that's awesome".

Durability/Sillage: First of all, you will become anosmic very quickly. You won't experience anything more of the drydown if you don't smell directly at the places where you sprayed. The fragrance is very well perceived from the outside, at least for the first 3 hours. Shelf life, as derived from the notes, lies at 6-8 hours on my skin. This makes the durability and sillage absolutely perfect for my sensation.

Dosage: Not too demanding, so you can spray up to 5 times. It surrounds you in an arm-length fragrance cloud, depending whether outside or inside, so I would spray 3-5 times. But please, please, please, NEVER, if I'm near you ( sorry, I couldn't help it :D).

Portable when and where: This fragrance is light and, in my opinion, wearable all year round. I would recommend wearing it in spring or summer if you want to draw attention to yourself and the scent is to be perceived really well, which doesn't mean that you can't start spraying even in cold weather if you want Baccarat. I would wear it to formal events or in the office, because it's nice and discreet, but even if I don't like it, it smells noble and expensive. Casual, I'd find him out of place, actually. But it all depends on the type, the clothing style and many other components.

Conclusion: Never buy blind. Please I really don't! No matter how often it's recommended and praised in heaven. Do yourself a favor and test it first! For me, heart and base are okay, the top note was one of the most terrible I've ever smelled. He's a good craftsman. Dut components, can be smelled out, and what he's supposed to do, he does. Durability and Sillage are top!

I will evaluate fragrances now in the future, after testing, exactly in this scheme, I hope you were able to get suggestions and impressions by this comment and I have not offended anybody. Im sorry, its just my humble opinion :)

A fragrance can rewaken the best moments of your life.

In this sense: Make memories and keep them in a bottle :)
