How do you get that off your skin?
The 7.9 points are inexplicable to me... what a horrible spice broth... goes straight to the round blind buy shelf. As a bargain hunter I learned how to deal with "strange" scents - but this Coveri nightmare gets me down.

But I don't get it. 7.9 points...? 7.9... that's almost 8 and 8 is really good. In addition to the finest ingredients such as lavender, bergamot, cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, MOSCHUS... I turn the wheel how bad an EdT can be with these good omens...

I already tried to wash it off - but the dirt remains as if it had grown - the colleague in the office has already asked what smells so bad here..

Not exactly harakiri - but close to it
The design of the bottle appealed to me - as did the ingredients. In addition the good evaluation of the Parfumos - nothing can go wrong with a blind purchase. Well, unfortunately, I do. I'm afraid the scent is for nothing.

The first spray still smells relatively fresh - after that it only smells slightly mouldy on the skin. As if the laundry had stayed in the drum overnight.

That annoys me a little bit now - was not exactly cheap ..

That's (almost) my scent!
Dior Homme was my scent back then. He practically stood for me, he impersonated me. But I didn't know that at that time and I still liked the scent, always looking for new olfactory experiences. I had found many - really got stuck are few.

Except Dior Homme. I wanted him back. And again. At some point there was no longer him and all those who came after him did not interest me at all. Because too sweet, or too powdery, too different. What was missing was what my Dior Homme had made out.

I had so removed the fragrance from my mind that I didn't even realize that Dior Homme Intense was coming out in 2011. I've made up for that with a blind purchase - and I'm not disappointed. The first impression is even almost frighteningly close to the scent in my memory. Something of a pity is that it lacks the freshness of the original, it becomes sweet and powdery in the base note like the other descendants - but still better than these. Because he has this one fine scent splinter from the original Dior Homme moment.

Let's see how it develops - or how I develop with it. Could be my new (old) signature scent already.

Earth mineral grass water
Actually I wanted to take such sweet alcoholic drinks on the plane at Gatwick Airport. I can relax a bit better, the crowd and the narrowness make me otherwise really bother. But of course there was nothing left after the passport control - I checked the whole hall and finally stranded in the Dutyfree-Shop. There I didn't find any Caipirinha in the can, but as I walked past the Hermès stand, I caught a glimpse of the new Eau Intense Vétiver. As I love Terre d'Hermès, I sprayed my forearm immediately. For testing purposes on the other side still the perfume variant of Terre d'Hermès - since I only have the EdT of the same one.

First realization - the EdP of Terre d'Hermès lasts less long than the EdT. Second realization - the Eau Intense Vétiver is the hammer.

Eau Intense Vétiver begins with the typical, woody, mineral Terre d'Hermès start, which is reminiscent of asphalt after a summer rain. This note, which many unsuccessfully try to imitate. This also remains with the Eau Intense Vétiver. Less dominant, another note finds its way. It can't be more vetiver - this also happens in the other Terre d'Hermès. Could be bergamot or grapefruit - in any case, the note gives the fragrance a very pleasant freshness that harmonises perfectly with the earth and wood tones.

I like the grass water very much and I will always reach for it when I feel like a fine unobtrusive scent.

Antibrumm. Floral Edition.
After the fabulous Bleu Noir, I thought I'd treat myself to another Rodriguez and because of the good reviews I ordered it blind. Just because I can. And because Francis Kurkdjian is not the worst of all perfumers now. And because I'm into musk scents.

So I unpack, enjoy the beautiful bottle and spray first into the crook of my arm. The first WTF moment. But not positive. What's that? What's that? Antibrumm? If I were a mosquito, I'd have fallen dead from the sky.

So for now I fall back on the facts. But I don't throw the shotgun into the grain or the lily into the compost yet.

And indeed - the scent changes after the obligatory hour. Becomes massively softer, more powdery, the musk fights its way past the lilies/iris offensive and lends the perfume the longed-for masculinity.

The Narciso scent starts to please me - the flowery note remains quite dominant - but maybe this gives the musk the balance it needs to not drift into the musk standard mush.

Let's see if he can give me back the confidence that I've gained - so far I'm not quite sure yet.
