The scents of Des Filles à la Vanille are all very fleeting, but they are fun. These are not incredibly important developments with extraordinary notes, they are simple, small everyday fragrances that don't break the wallet and are all a hint sweet, as the name of the company already suggests.

The Venetian musk is very well suited for musk lovers who do not want to overkill in everyday life and for whom the usual suspects like Jovan are too violent, the luxury variants like Bruno Acompora too expensive. Here is really only a hint of musk to suspect (hence my title musk calf, it still grows!!!). If you want something more, you should spray your hair and clothes, because the fragrance lasts a little longer. I cannot discover fruity or green notes, it is simply a beautiful skin scent, which seems to belong to it as if one always smells like this. The 100ml bottles are kept simple, which suits me very well, and lie well in the hand.

I don't understand the negative statements below. Berlin Heaven doesn't scream around, that may irritate one or the other. The opening is fruity and berry, but not paper sweet, but rather like freshly poured juice, but does not last long. I don't smell lily of the valley directly, the middle comes across rather fresh and airy, but doesn't really last long either. All this on my skin, mind you.

The surprise comes now, because what's left is exactly mine! Light woods with rosy-powdery and also a hint of sweet notes (almost like caramelized fruits) and quite clearly ambry base delight my nose. You don't bother anyone with it. That's very nice, but unfortunately it doesn't last very long - 4-5 hours with me. But what can also be a quality feature in today's over-scenting.

On the homepage of the manufacturer the fragrance is described among other things with the following words: "...as light and fruity as a picnic under the sky of Berlin" This may be freshly sprayed on, but as I mentioned, I rather have the impression of a cosy summer evening in a rooftop bar with a view of a glowing sky over the city.

This is the softest scent from Les Néreides. Very nice and for every day use. Soft vanilla notes with a bit of spice. The rose comes forward shyly at the beginning but hands over the sceptre to the creamy notes without complaint.

It doesn’t last as long as the other powerscents from Les Néreides and is very well suited for all vanilla lovers who don’t want to smell too much of it.

....seems this scent and so does justice to its name. For lovers of heavy patchouli scents well suited. For all the others: enjoy with caution. This scent stays and does really smell like dusty wood (a little anyway!!).

You expect May running around the corner! The blooming messengers in this scent harmonize perfectly. Lilac rules but freesia, jasmine, gardenia and hyacinth round it up. You could think it is a soliflor scent. Do you know those dark lilacs, really fat trusses of lilacs and how they smell after a spring thunderstorm? This is the smell.

Soft musk should be renamed: cuddly-cotton-soft musk. It serves only to hold the flood of flowers together.

More and more I am enthused by Neil Morris and his scents. He mounted the pedestal to be one of my favourites.
