El Diablo! The devil made the booze….. exactly! And this little bugger is one mischievous, tipsy hellion. Not a mean, cloven-hoofed, tail wagging Horned One with a trident to drag bad sinners into the redhot hells gorge.
He’s more like an elegant, mischievous guy, sparkling eyes, pointed hairline, canny smile, with a tiny sulfuric cloud rising from underneath his red lined, velvetblack cape. He wants “aaaaaaction”, he wants to have fun, he’s still so young!

He is sharp and at the same time fresh. How on earth Howard Jarvis has accomplished that remains a secret, as always. And there is definitely cinnamon included. Fresh, clear cinnamon, no sugar added. And pepper, very clear, also fresh and not biting sharp, but with a slight nutmeg note to it. And the Budiade that is so hard to describe lingers on as well. A certain creaminess comes out at the base, and also a soft, almost powdery woodiness, sawdust powder.

I can’t find it as loud as Apicius does, but we know that already. On the contrary, after the initial abundance of cinnamon-pepper-nutmeg (or whichever hot spices are included here), which comes rushing on like the devil, the horned creature calms down some, doesn’t become cosy but slightly tame with a fresh-rough bearing. He’s behaving, stays close to the wearer and Ms. Devil can wear it as well. She doesn’t even need to have red hair!

At the cooler seasons this is nice for people who do not want to smell gourmandy but still appreciate a certain spiciness.

Prada Tendre does its name justice. It is soft and warm from the beginning. Very harmonious scent which lingers quite long, even after washing my hands it is still there. But after about 2 hours I can not get rid of a certain memory. I know this scent from somewhere…. It’s not directly Angel, more Lancaster (the bath series). The amber-vanilla-very soft musky background is softer, not quite as strong as in the Lancaster but very similar. And I like it. What could you say against Prada? Exactly….

The hit! I could only smell the testing paper strip (my arms were overdosed on other scents) but this is so much my taste. Smoky flowers with a little wood. Marvelous.

Very nice scent. Tuberose stays in the background, thank goodness, and doesn’t act up as it often does. But I find the sweetness of the orange flower moves into a kind of tartness - like the spray of orange peel into the flame of a candle. All in all I quite like it.

Tststs, of course I dismantled the flask right away. It rests on the shelf, I grab it and pull off what looks like the cap….it’s not the cap, it’s the spraying mechanism!!! Well, girls, do not pull off the hat, it has to be like that. It takes a while for me to find the tiny hole of the spraying mechanism and now I could start. It sprays very wet, just to mention it.

The pyramid above has to be a joke! There is much more and in a different sequence, fruit, juice, flowers – yes, I tell you there’s Iris as well! The start is yummy and follows the trend of the fruit bombes which are so popular lately. Somehow not really Prada. But what the ….., let them play.
Once the flowers have been caramelized in a bath of sugar it becomes really sweet. I’m not talking toothache provocation but compare it to the sensation in my mouth when I put in a huge delicious truffle all at once, let it melt slowly and have every surface in the cavern of my mouth all coated. Full-mouthed….. full-bodied…

But just as the truffle taste is swallowed quite fast, Candy evaporates on my skin. It’s a real shame since on the testing paper it stays relatively well and on it there is a tiny splinter of wood next to the sweet musk. Unfortunately that never appeared on my skin. I can imagine that on clothes Candy lingers longer.
