The special moments
There are moments and days in a person's life that are simply different from the others. You know exactly those days you will always remember. It is these days that make life worth living. The reasons for this are usually decisive changes in life, be it professional, social or family. Some special days cannot be foreseen, others can. I'm thinking, for example, of getting married and getting married. It is generally known that this day will come at some point and it is for this day that I have reserved this fragrance. Because it matches like the bridal gown to the bride.

What symbolizes romance as well as a huge bouquet of ripe red roses? That's exactly the scent. Full, ripe red authentic roses.

At first the fragrance opens slightly citric and has a medicinal effect for the first few seconds. But that passes quickly and he transforms into the most beautiful Rose-Oud-combo (and of it there are as well known meanwhile like sand at the sea) which I was allowed to smell so far. Amber is not so strongly represented here but just as much to give the fragrance together with fig and iris an incredibly luxurious character. The medicinal oud at the beginning deviates, fades into the background and gives the fragrance a beautiful oriental touch.

All in all, the fragrance is very voluminous, very rich, attractive, erotic, luxurious and quite inviting.

Amber Aoud projects up to 6 hours very well and then weakens slowly, taking a long time to get really close. In general, the shelf life is exceptionally good.

I think you can compare Amber Aoud with Oud Satin Mood and Oud Silk Mood from MFK. He doesn't have a jam rose like the Satin Mood and not a medicinal Oud like the Silk Mood. I also find him more masculine than his two colleagues from MFK. In general it smells more qualitative and rounder.

I reserve this scent for myself for important occasions, because it would be simply too bad for the everyday life...

The best from the house of Amouage
Yes, it is a bold headline, because after all, this house has a lot to offer: Anniversary, Interlude, Reflection etc... All fine fragrances, but this one is something else... (the Library Collection is not worth mentioning except for the VI)

After the first spray, it was too prickly, too peppery for me. Only the incense in the background pleased. But after a few moments laurel and pepper retreat and nothing remains of the pungent spice mixture. The amber makes the fragrance softer, more cuddly and even has a sweetish character. Incense remains always present if only in the background.
Then comes for me the best part I can not even really describe:
The scent becomes waxy! I don't know where it comes from, but it gives a cuddly warm and enveloping feeling I didn't know before. Fortunately, it lasts at least 16+ hours on the skin and you can smell it on your clothes for days afterwards. The Sillage is also more than good. The first 4-6 hours it projects strongly and then weakens slowly.

I'm surprised that only 22% of the 70 owners are women here, because this inviting warm waxy dream is mega attractive and would look great on most women.

Sugar orinetals
So must the rich sheikhs or their wives smell when they get out of their expensive cars and go into one of the many modern skyscrapers to close their deals or buy expensive jewelry.

A very beautiful fruity-sweet Oriental, where the oud does not go in the fecal or medical direction, but gives the fragrance a luxurious touch.

Smells a lot like the east and is still very portable for us. Not for every day, but all the more on formal occasions when you want to leave a uniqueness and self-confidence impression.

Ladies dare you, can imagine me this smell very well at self-confident women.

The Sillage does not fill an entire room, but is more than enough to invite those you are talking to or passing by to Qatar for a short time.

Finally found...
There he is now. I never thought I'd find THE perfect fragrance someday. Which I really don't find fault with. Where I'm not looking for mistakes and weaknesses to buy endless more fragrances that satisfy my greed for the one, real fragrance. With Enigma I also found my favourite fragrance house in Roja at the same time. I feel that Roja brings out a new scent every day and luckily not everyone likes it. But of the countless scents of the house that I like, the Enigma EDP is my favorite.

In general I'm a fan of tobacco/vanilla fragrances, but the enigma with this mad cognac note is more beautiful than anything smelled before. It is sweeter, softer and more vanilla than Enigma Parfum and projects a little more strongly. The perfume can be kept a little longer.

I can understand the association with cola, at least for the first few seconds, because then he quickly becomes more floral. Rose comes along and after a while the tobacco and this heavenly cognac note blend together to create an attractive, sexy, boozie cloud that is completely unisex to me. I imagine it very appealing to a woman.

In any case at least one test worth

Stop that!
It's starting to piss me off. But not a normal on the nerves go, but really on the Sa* go is that already. It started with the 1 million where suddenly everyone rated him so bad without any objective reason. Most ratings were based on the fact that 10 years ago almost everyone wore this fragrance. HEY, GUYS! THERE IS NO REASON TO JUDGE A FRAGRANCE UNOBJECTIVE AND NEGATIVE, JUST BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE HAVE WORN OR WEAR THIS FRAGRANCE! The same thing happened with the Sauvage and I think it will happen with this fragrance. So many negative comments and statements because this fragrance is becoming mainstream and supposedly too sweet and perhaps resembles the 1 million. There is nothing but really nothing that justifies the current score of 6.2 for this fragrance. Yes he is cute, yes he smells similar to other fragrances, yes he is often praised in online reviews. But does that make him bad? I have the feeling that people deliberately rate this fragrance worse only because it is praised on Youtube, for example, so that they feel like experts and defy the reviewers. Of course there are niche lovers who prefer exciting, complex fragrances or who only like certain fragrances, but people who rate this fragrance with a score of less than 5 do so maliciously. I'm not saying they're all. There are certainly people who find that too sweet. But if you look at the comments and above all the statements, you notice that things are hardly objective there and that the trend towards the destruction of popular mainstream fragrances continues... It is clear that sweet scents are mainly worn by the younger generation, such are also panty droppers ;). But that's no reason to destroy this fragrance, because that's exactly what makes us deter the more experienced noses that hang around here on Parfumo from such scents, and these scents thus inevitably remain only for the youngsters who are not particularly interested in scents and are therefore put into a drawer.
