!!!!!!!!!!!
At the beginning of my passion for fragrances, I made the mistake of ordering fragrances blind if the ratings here at Parfumo were high enough. Encre Noir was my last bug of this kind.

I have read through all statements and comments about this fragrance here and the water has run together in my mouth. Divine ink, heavenly vetiver and God knows what I was allowed to read here. In addition a score of currently 8.1. With the price one must simply strike there I thought.

First of all I can say that the most beautiful thing about this perfume is the flacon. Even though it has a minimalist design, it still looks very noble.

The fragrance itself lacks pretty much everything that was praised so highly here before. I don't smell ink from start to finish. Not once, not even rudimentarily. If you want to smell authentic ink, you should try Mortal Skin by Stephane Lucas. The only thing I smell here from the first spray to the base is earth. Damp old earth. Well, I don't mind if a scent runs linearly. But only if the scent smells good. This one doesn't do that for me. I was hoping for a similarity to the Encre Noir for ladies, which I really liked to smell. But there are worlds in between. How can it be that such a fragrance is rated better here than e.g. Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver or Guerlain's Vetiver? These are just two of the countless examples of unrealistic scores here at Parfumo. In addition, there are all the unobjective and often far-fetched comments and statements that give the readers an interest and an expectation that the fragrance cannot justify. I have the feeling that some people here rather live out their inner poet than really deal with the scent in a matter-of-fact and real way and thus help the people who are interested in the respective scent.

Even though I'm probably stoned by the community here, I couldn't help myself...

Love you guys < br />

Fucking Beautiful
The name of this fragrance alone suggests that we are dealing with a daredevil. A loud glowing rock star. A self-confident, cold doer who has everything and likes to show it.
So I would describe this smell only by its name.

What I can smell is something completely different.
A restrained, incredibly delicate almond that is always present, but never wants to push itself to the fore. A luxurious flatterer who convinces everyone of himself without having to show off for himself.
Never intrusive but always present and persistent.
Not complex but beautiful on different levels.

This bottle, unlike its name, fits perfectly to this sweet-bitter dream:
It's kept simple and yet so beautiful. With a name like Fucking Fabulous I would have expected Tom to print a golden metal imprint on the flacon and lid. Instead there is a neutral white Bapper on matt black. Very simple, very noble, very beautiful... like the fragrance

Great respect to Versace! Not only for this fragrance
This Versace fits perfectly into the pour Homme series next to pour Homme and the Dylan Blue. Not because it smells similar, but because it is again a really very beautiful round treasure.
It opens with a strong bitter orange that after some time incense and the oud follow. The orange weakens and it remains a smoky seductive dark scent. Very sexy!

During the day pour Homme, in the evening Dylan Blue and when going out Oud Noir! You just can't do anything wrong.

I would like to express my full appreciation to Versace!
Especially at the beginning of my fragrance journey Versace offered me uncomplex and cheap fragrances that simply work! No matter if Eros, Dreamer, Man au Fraiche or just the pour Homme series - all were and are simply more than good for their price!

Even today I still like to use these fragrances, just because they are so simple in comparison but still so good.

You have to smell it right!
I was amazed when I first called this fragrance at Parfumo. The overall rating is actually below 7.0! And I'm not sure what that might be, but I have a hunch:

The first time I smelled Eros was in my buddy's car when we were on our way to a club. When I got in it smelled so damn good, that I naturally wanted to know which fragrance it was. After I found out that it was Eros, I went to the Türkisen the next day to buy. Before I had it packed, I tried it again on a test strip and on my skin. I was more than disappointed with both of them!
It barely smelled like a car the day before! It was indescribable, different, almost salty. Disappointed, I put the scent back and went home.

At the next opportunity when I was at home with my boyfriend, I had to sniff at his Eros bottle. Before that he had the scent on it a few times and he always smelled good. But even when I smelled his bottle, this disappointing salty scent came towards me again.

Today I know why that was and probably why the low rating is:
You can't smell that scent right out of the bottle! Whether test paper or your own skin. It's clear that a fragrance always starts differently than it does in the dry-out, but here it's especially bad. Do me a favor and smell the head of a bottle. Salty, isn't it? Believe me, this scent has a very different effect on you than you feel when you test it. In addition, the people around you also feel this scent better and more intense than you do. Try again.
Give Eros a chance!
