Transparency
"Cloud was a blind buy. I love this scent, could smell my wrist for hours when I wear it. It's the same with "Thank you next". Inspired by these positive experiences with Ariana's perfumes I ordered REM blind......and was disappointed.
It is already madness, how differently so some smelling organ reacts to different smells. Praised by many in the sky I must say that I find REM as incredibly meaningless. I smell virtually nothing but pure transparency. Some lavender, which dissipates after a few minutes. What remains is a slight hairspray note, but I can only guess at it. Maybe I smell water, which may sound strange, but I can hardly describe this transparent, barely there scent any other way.
Too bad, I love but the creamy sweetness of the two predecessors so much....

Summer atmosphere
I used to say that I was more of a "winter girl", like the cold and dark days, the silence and the Christmas season. For a long time, summer was for me a fleeting, light and noisy season without draught, pleasant in terms of temperatures, but I was missing something.
I have now found what was missing in eau de soleil blanc: The fragrance conveys an atmosphere that encourages dreaming and remembering. The fragrance pyramid of creamy suntan lotion, a splash of lime and fresh coconut water creates an incredibly authentic summer atmosphere that describes more than just an average beach holiday. Eau de soleil blanc is not a summer all-world cocktail escada blend, but something special.
It starts citrically fresh, then the sun cream follows quite fast, in the background transparent coconut water splashes, not sweet synthetic, but natural and sour. The composition is accompanied by a note that reminds me of summer rain, that pleasant, indefinable smell that is so difficult to describe.
For me, eau de soleil blanc describes a summer far away from mass tourism and cocktail parasols in the midday sun, but a summer that is characterized by quiet moments for two or alone in the evening sun, when the heat slowly disappears, a light breeze of salty air blows over from the sea and the skin smells of sun. Moments that bring with them a release from everyday worries and memories of past summers, almost creating a melancholy mood, but not in a negative sense.
The silage is average, but the shelf life is not. I still smell of summer after eight to ten hours, very close but intense.
Eau de soleil blanc has shown me a summer that I like very much. Maybe I am not a winter girl after all, but a summer girl :)

In search of the popcorn
Salt and smoke... that's all I smell, unfortunately. I was very sad about this, because I had put great hopes in the popcorn note. I'm a huge gourmand fan and judging by all the descriptions and comments, Pure XS fell right into my breed scheme. I also love popcorn, caramel and everything that goes with it. But I was disappointed. I smell from the beginning only salt, unpleasantly pungent, with a muffled smoke note, not incense, but rather cigarette smoke. I have the same problem with Olympea. If a woman smells like she's just been outside smoking, I always know she's wearing Olympea.
I thought it would be different with Pure XS, maybe there is something wrong with my nose, but I consistently smell an unpleasant smoky and pungent scent that you don't want on your skin. In the background lurks a dark, grape-like depth that distinguishes Pure XS from Olympea, otherwise both fragrances smell almost identical to me.
Sweetness does not perceive any, no matter how hard I try and how often I smell the bottle that stands unused in my bathroom. Almost every evening I try to understand what so many people smell, but I just can't figure it out. It is really crazy but at the same time incredibly interesting how differently scents can be perceived. I will spend many more evenings with Pure XS, maybe I will find it one day, the sweet popcorn and the caramel

Cloud 7
What irony with this name that I dreamt of cloud and therefore ordered it blindly. I can't really say why, but my subconscious seemed to deal with it and I gave in to it. I ordered it blind. Well, what can I say... I love it :)

...cloud smells to me fluffy and slightly like pink clouds, changing in the softest colours from pale pink to light blue to pistachio green and bright yellow. It surrounds the wearer with a warm atmosphere, recognizable but not tangible like the clouds. Like the rainbow, beautiful. Never solid.
Cloud is difficult for me to describe, should I compare it or assign it to individual fragrance components. It is sweet, but not heavy, cheerfully light, but not trivial and fleeting. Maybe the sweetness comes from cotton candy, even if it is not listed as a fragrance. Maybe it's the coconut cream or the vanilla. For me, cloud conveys a feeling rather than individual fragrances. It is complex, not a typical celebrity fragrance, but special and noble. He doesn't scream, he breathes, he doesn't squeal, but keeps himself in the background and only talks when asked. It melts with my skin to a warm, sweet cloud cover, simply beautiful.

You wouldn't think so from my description, but he polarizes. My husband doesn't like him, Cloud would smell like old rags. My girlfriend, on the other hand, couldn't stop sniffing at me yesterday and asked if that was Baccarat Rouge. So the Dupe theme does not seem to be far-fetched.

I'm so glad I discovered Cloud, he makes me happy

The inner values

I got hold of this Signorina as a sample, tried it out directly and very quickly found it not suitable. Too loud, too peppery, too flowery, just too scratchy. On my skin, the top note consists only of pepper. Pepper, which burns in the nose and closes it, blocks virtually all receptors in the nose.
No, this is not my Signorina, I thought and tried to get rid of her quickly with water. But this signorina is an affectionate thing, water and soap, yes, and as if that would scare her off. So she lingered a little longer on my skin and let my husband curiously sniff at me.
"You smell good!
That was the sentence that made me give her a second chance. The initial fresh, tart one-dimensionality of the fragrance gives way to a more complex development. After about a quarter of an hour, the pepper withdraws and lets the flowers, superficially the rose, take precedence. Signorina is getting smoother, a little sweeter. I think it's the pannacotta note. In fact, a depth that could not even be guessed at the beginning gradually develops, the flowers become more lovely, softer and a warm, vanilla gourmand with a light, enigmatic freshness of colourful flowers remains as a basis. This signorina is different from what she seems at first sight. Her charisma develops from a stubborn beast to a happy girl to a sweet thing.

I'm still struggling with myself, whether the crabby prelude with the full load of pepper doesn't scare me off too much to let this signorina move in with me. However, it depends on the inner values in life and not on the outer ones. Maybe that's why, despite the bad first impression, it deserves a chance to become my spring scent. Let's see....
