In Your Dreams
Poison Tendre is completely graceful and elegant. This stuff was made for a Princess, not real life Princesses, but the ones you read about in fairy tales.

This mesmerizing beauty is peaceful and serene but it exhibits a commanding presence. Wearing DPT is like wearing orange flavored vanilla nougat. For me, it's light and airy but produces a cloud of sillage in the immediate space surrounding you. Hell, I damn near hear Angels singing! I barely detect the fragrance when I sniff my wrists but it envelops me and I go about my daily activities.

Prior to yesterday, I had not considered even testing this fragrance because citrus was listed among the notes. It's a shame that the citrus note has kept me depraved for so long but now I know that dreams are made of things like citrus. A sweet tangerine cruises nonchalantly on the coattails of the layer of vanilla air. This smells simply divine. If you know someone with a broken heart, tell them to wear this fragrance, it will lift their spirits for sure.

Mere mortals are not worthy to wear this fragrance in real life, only in their dreams.

Spectabulous
Caron Narcisse Blanc Parfum Extrait reminds me of another Caron I have tried, either Aimez Moi or Montaigne. Far too classy for every day wear, I selected this fragrance to wear to my vintage hunting shopping trip today.

My nose is able to tolerate the sweet orange, which is level from start to finish but never sharp or overdone. There is an oily layer which provides a top coat to the florals that follow. A soft whisper of Jasmine gives a classic feel. This fragrance is simple and down to earth yet aloof and mesmerizing. The Amber listed must be minor as I do not detect any vanilla, but there does seem to be a background of velvet, something smooth that I am too inexperienced to describe. Being exposed to a quality fragrance such as this for me is quite a joy because I tend to buy based on notes and I buy mainly woods.

Less is more here as the minimal notes listed have created a stunning beauty that is only fit to wear on special occasions that requires dress to impress attire. This one must be reserved for Black Tie ceremonies and celebrations. Wear this when you need something spectacular and fabulous at the same time..it's simply spectabulous!

Thank you Flacounner for the January giveaway. I love being exposed to tolerable citrus and non-woodsy fragrances that I would have never tried otherwise.

Get your Sweet On!
Top Shelf vanilla just about sums this up. My sample was tested just before bed and it was a very good choice because this dreamy fragrance simply lulled me right to sleep. This is a comfort scent, made specifically for the sweet lovers in the house. Vanilla Marble is flirty enough to be worn on a lunch date on girls day out yet sophisticated enough to wear when you are planning to rock your come hither look.

It seems that the Almond listed was used to spike the Vanilla up a notch and it worked. This is hard-core finely tuned Breyers. Yes, Breyers ... all natural ingredients.

Waking up is morning, the sweetness had died down considerably leaving just a faint hint of the sweetness but not completely worn away. Either I slept through the sandalwood phase or maybe my oncoming cold intercepted my woods because I didn't get to enjoy the dry down. I highly recommend this fragrance to those who like to get their sweet on!

Thank you Flacounner for January's giveaway.

Fruitchouli?
Fruity with a touch of vanilla is my impression. Not extremely sweet but too fruity for my liking. Lasts all day, no touch up needed. As a patchouli lover, I should be able to wear this but my nose cannot tolerate the fruitiness. Maybe there is a citrus buried in the notes that my nose refuses to accept.

This would be a nice fragrance for someone who wants something mildly sweet and lasts all day. Smells pretty nice but I have no desire to own a full bottle. I'm not sure this is a niche quality fragrance. I think Coach Poppy would be a good choice for a substitute.

Proceed with caution
TSOWT is a refreshing fragrance that brings the forest from the outside in. There is a hint of fresh mint skimming the surface of deep, sophisticated woods. Every fragrance lover who is attracted to green fragrances will not appreciate the stand alone uniqueness this fragrance offers. Lush has apparently decided to alienate this fragrance from the typical greens by inducing a shock value at first spritz. It could be considered a scrubber at first blast but the woods lull you in creating a peace and serenity like no other. This fragrance could easily wear you if you don't have the courage to pull it off. If you can take the heat of hard core woods, then be my guest, just proceed with caution. Love List for me!
