Caramelized Sugar Coating
Wow. There is yummy candy vibe going on that reminds me of the coating on Jordan Almonds. A very well behaved patchouli is so damn smooth it's insane. Blended they compliment each other. It's almost like a vanilla bean shake with a swirl of caramel. Rich, creamy and sweet with a little overcooked caramel adding just the right amount of burned boldness. This smells very seductive and opulent. If the chemicals were removed, this could be sold in the gourmet candy isle. Delicious with a capital D!

I want more
Love at first sniff, Spark reminds me a lot of CK Obsession. Warm and spicy, full of rich comforting aromas, and perfect for a cold winter day.

I actually get the cedar note which adds a lift quite nicely to an otherwise heavy, dark fragrance.

There is a mellow powdery background that helps tie together everything I love about my favorites.

Spice, Cedar, Powder, Dark, Cinnamon and every so lightly sweetened. Despite its celebrity status, I think it's blended perfect for my taste. With a rebel yell, I want more, more, more!

Some like it HOT!
This vintage sample reeks cinnamon spiciness similar to that of Blue Carnation by Roger and Gallet. L'Origan is an oriental with a floral twist. Deep dark orange makes this a prize in my eyes as the refined sweetness balances the extreme spice without the added boost of sugar. I find this fragrance very aromatic and womanly. I do not detect civet but the ylang and orange work well together to keep this fragrance grounded in a way that the aromatics don't supersede the softer notes. Soft florals follow .

Piperolal is a note I am in no way familiar with, but if it is responsible for the hot/pepper sensation, then I look forward to adding it to my list of favorite notes.

It eventually dies down to a classic floral but I rather enjoy the initial blast of fire! I like it HOT.

Meow...
I remember this long taffy stuck on a piece of wax paper sold at Woolworth years ago. I was actually giggling inside when I applied this fragrance and got that visual image.

Frangipane is dripping hot, oozing the sexiest of vanillas. I am tickled to death that I am so taken with an ultra sweet fragrance! Nope, this is not sugary sweet like Pink Sugar, it's nose in the air, pinky finger out, snob material. I often bathe in ylang and jasmine because they smell so good together and now I can wear my bath all day long!

I've had my share of white florals but this cake frosting has made me do a complete 360 and yearn for them again. I'm wondering if I made a mistake by swapping my bottle of 24 that I was so anxious to get rid of. I am learning that although I bash citrus, different variations of orange works well for me. I'll have to re-think the way I dismiss citrus and white floral from now on.

What we have here folks is a sex kitten in lambs clothing. Soft and sweet on the outside, a skilled predator on the inside. Rawwwwrrrrr

Thank you Flacounner for the December giveaway!

Shooting Blanks
Lil can be classified as a comfort scent as buttery honey melted in a pot of big white flowers, namely Angel's Trumpet, envelops your senses with a touch of lime. Floral freshness with layers of depth creates heady sillage. The fruity top notes are insignificant as lily of the valley and geranium develop brightly. Soft citrus remains until the woods make an appearance.

Softer and sweeter than Golden Cattalya, Lil has a sexy vibe that is carried out by the cashmeran and musky notes. This could be considered an evening fragrance if the greens were a little less pronounced.

Surprisingly, the freshness fades and stale oranges emerge. This stage is not completely unpleasant, it's just flat. Considering the exotic notes listed, I was expecting a Spud, not a Dud.
