Here are the comments, in a nutshell:

1) Blue fragrance: No.
2) Generic spicy men's fragrance: No.
3) Smells cheap: No.
4) Boring: No.

There is a reason Wasser renovated and kept this fragrance over others. Period.

This is a rich but understated sandalwood, spice and textured sawdust scent, with some classy freshness. I bought a 200 ml of this and have loved every spray.

This works in shorts and a polo, as well as it works in a tux. It's a tremendous accomplishment.

Ignore the hate, and give this thing a wearing. A full wearing. More than once.

I own the entire Lart and matiere collection, and I love many. This is a favorite reach.

This one seems to get negative reviews, and Im not sure why.

Initially, I thought the smell was good - not great. Classy Guerlain feeling, more spicy green woods than warm spicy.

After wearing several times, this is a moderate projector, but a long lasting classy woody masculine scent - sharp and confident. The oud is the woody "hollow tree" type of oud, and the spices are very smooth, greenish and unsweet.

Anyone looking for a gourmandish warm spicy fragrance should look elswehere.

With that said, this has become a love for work, office, church, etc. Easy to wear, as it isnt a room filling beast, and very very pleasant to smell in the air.

This is a very underrated fragrance.

The description of dry white sand and blue skies makes sense here. The opening is an ADP Colonia Pura esque experience. This may actually be a bit sharper and crisper even. Bright dry citrus gives way to a mixture of said citruses and woody creamy base, but this never veers away from that squint inducing brightness. This is quality hot weather citrus rind and synthetic freshness, done in a high quality way. The performance is great.

Smells like a sweeter, more modern version of drakkar noir. Love the stuff. Performance is better than the complaints, does not smell old but definitely masculine. Not really a blue fragrance at all to me, more green and soapy. Nice stuff. Nothing aquatic here. Good for all age men, but may lean a little mature. Barbershop with some twists.

The deft hand with the tart cherry, fleeting sweetness, and rose combined with subtle pleasant oud is as classy as one can imagine. It's simple, somewhat subtle, and sublime. The cherry in this reminds me of a higher quality version of the cherry used in lhomme ideal edp. This is actually a simpler fragrance than the designer beauty, but the quality difference and blend here is obvious. Sometimes cherry can come across as cough syrup, but this does not. The oud is light, woody, beautiful.
