Um, basil-flavored cat?
Soo, here I test again a fragrance from a brand I don't know that well. The sample was apparently planted, but I have to say that it sounds quite promising.

Not because the term Fellini sounds a bit like Felinae, the family of the small, cute little cats, but because the scents read like a beautiful summer scent. In my opinion, herbs like basil are always fragrant and work very well, especially with summer scents.

But even so, these herbs smell very nice. I catch myself again and again rubbing my fingers on herbs like basil, rosemary, mine etc. in the kitchen or in the garden and sniffing the scent adhering to my fingers.

Oh and by the way, figs are listed here, which also arouse my interest, because I like their smell (and taste :) very much.

The smell:
At the beginning it smells slightly of citric notes, some figs and something fruity, but I don't know if this is the dragon fruit or if this fruit generally also smells citric. Anyway, the start is quite nice, whereby the fig comes across a bit dry or even slightly stuffy.
There are indefinable green notes, it has something of plant juices that you might know from broken green branches. I think these green notes could come either from green hay or green figs, I'm not sure here, maybe they are also, as I said, generally green notes and thus a mix of everything.
Hay in general, however, smells good here in my opinion, even if it is not as dry as one might think (so the greenery might also come from the hay). The basil, which is quite weak in the beginning, becomes much more recognizable from the heart note on and smells nice and matching the fresh notes. I think it's great that little by little the stuffy notes completely fade away. I think that in the base you can smell a good fig-hay combination with a little bit of violet for a while, which can be recognized by its sweetish floral note. With vetiver I have more difficulties, because I can't really perceive this distinctive, earthy note.

The Sillage and the durability:
The sillage is medium to weak, as it soon goes down more and more after spraying. At normal distance it can still be smelled for a short while, but later on it becomes better to smell it from closer.
I found shelf life with six to eight hours quite okay!

The bottle!
The bottle is cylindrical, flat and the glass has a wavy pattern, which makes it look a little old-fashioned but nice. On the front, a rectangular yellow label can be seen. The cap is also dark yellow and cylindrical.

The scent is not bad, for the summer it is even nice, even if the beginning should smell stuffy for a short time because of the fig. However, this is almost a little paradox for me, since figs have a slightly stuffy aura in most scents, which bothers me a bit, although I like the fig scent itself very much. But here, as I said before, the stuffy aura disappears soon, so that the scent becomes even more beautiful

Well, the fragrance is well suited as a day scent or for smaller activities. It is not very exciting as there are many fragrances that smell similar or even better. You can try it anyway. Well, at least as a fan of herbs and figs you should have tested it :)

Well, what does Fellini actually mean? According to the description, it's an Italian proper noun. The fragrance is named after the Italian director Federico Fellini, who is said to have a preference for basil. By the way, the name Fellini is also supposed to be very suitable as a (German) animal name, because the word "Fell" in the name is supposed to make it look creative and cool, and I have to say that it has something. After all, we sometimes call our animals (like for example, of course, cats) fur balls or something like that :D

I, on the other hand, often call mine a scratchy monster, because no matter how cuddly it is, it sometimes bites and scratches harder when playing, ... the stupid creature ... :DD

A nice passion fruit...!
As so often, there are some new Aqua Allegoria fragrances from Guerlain. One of them is this Maracuja scent, which I almost had trouble spraying on myself. However, despite the weekend (Saturday) the shop was rather empty the other day, so there was only one saleswoman in the Guerlain department.

...and whoa! She was pretty! So pretty that my brain spent almost the entire conversation with her endlessly bombarding me with phrases that sounded something like:
"She is pretty and sweet! Whoa, she's pretty and sweet"
"She is pretty and sweet! Whoa, she's pretty and sweet"
"She is pretty and sweet! Whoa, she's pretty and sweet"
"She's pretty and..." ...you know what I mean...

So I tried not to listen to you guys and not to say something like "I'm looking for a fragrance for my girlfriend" again while looking at women's fragrances, so that she couldn't think "Well, he already has a girlfriend",... waaaah! No! Instead, I couldn't say anything but talk about scents and bla bla bla... I don't even remember what I said before I left (while I still had the scent of her on my arm! Heh heh heh),... hopefully I didn't say absolutely stupid things,... argh! D

Since my brain keeps telling me "She is pretty and sweet! Boah die ist hübsch und süß" (instead of humming the Tetris melody as usual...) and therefore I couldn't think properly anymore, I hopefully didn't say something stupid like "Ah, a passion fruit is really pretty!" or something like that, while I was sniffing the beautiful scent of the passion fruit and at the same time looking into the pretty face of the saleswoman, mist mist mist mist!!!

Well, anyway, it was good that I had this scent sprayed on me to test it, because in my nervousness I would probably have dropped the bottle otherwise...!
In addition, I can now also present you this fragrance here, which is not soo unusual now, but has become a very nice smelling fragrance.

The smell:
Hmm,... you can smell a nice fruity passion fruit right at the beginning, which also has a nice, sweet aura. The top note actually only smells of the passion fruit, and only gradually a tangy grapefruit is added, which goes very well with the sweet-smelling passion fruit and intensifies the impression of a good-humoured summer scent.
The aquatic notes are somehow less intense, but they are fragrant. The ylang-ylang (which somehow seems to be part of every new fragrance or flanker lately...) has turned out weak here, which I like, because otherwise it would have had a too sultry aura, which would have spoiled the freshness of the fragrance (in my opinion, anyway). Anyway, I think that Ylang-Ylang doesn't fit to fragrances that are meant for spring and summer at all!
Otherwise, the fragrance remains fresh, slightly flowery, fruity-sweetish, and simply beautiful!

The Sillage and the durability:
The Sillage is moderately unusual, but this is what you are used to with most Aqua Allegorias or summer scents in general. Therefore it will hardly be possible to smell it except in the vicinity. The shelf life is also short and it smells just about three to four hours before it gets weaker and weaker.

The bottle!
The flacon comes in the well-known "bee flacon", only here no bees have been worked into the glass. Nevertheless, the flacon with its cylindrical shape and domed top looks very beautiful, because the golden honeycomb decorates the flacon and the light pink scent liquid additionally contributes to a visually more beautiful pleasure. The cap is gold-plated and round. The label is square and white, and while the brand name is written in gold, the name of the fragrance, Passiflora, is written in purple. A beautiful flacon!

"She is pretty and sweet! Whoa, she's pretty and sweet"
...shut up brain! What was I gonna say? Oh, yes..
Aaah, the smell is nice!.. pretty! I mean LOVELY!!! *sigh*

The fragrance has been created perfectly for the summer, because it is airy and light, sweet and beautiful, a good mood fragrance that you can and should spray on yourself over and over again, because it doesn't last that long.

It can be used very well during the day, perhaps also when going out, whereby one would have to spray oneself here and there as described above. Be that as it may, despite the nice scent, one should still know that the scent itself is quite simple. It's nothing breathtakingly new, nothing really exciting, not something that hasn't been done hundreds of times before by other brands... BUT: But this fragrance is, as so often, of the usual good Guerlain quality, which means that apart from the beautiful scent it has no disturbing synthetics, comes in a nice bottle and is one of those fragrances where you start smiling while sniffing it because it's so nice! As I said, a good mood fragrance just!

Therefore I would recommend everyone here to test this scent here, it could be worth it! Especially in this beautiful weather!

And I'm sure that the scent should suit you ladies really well, ah... you know, so delicious, fresh, yammi to bite! Aaargh, maybe I should have told the saleswoman that she would have to smell great with it (and then she would have rolled her eyes, because she's probably hearing that 100 times a day from some guys... aaaaargh...).
But noooo, this stupid guy here must be shy again, so that not a word came out of him (except probably stupid babbling)... um... I have to sigh again: *seeeeeeeeeuffzzfzffz* Hrm, aaaargh... um, is it possible that I'm screaming too much today and stuff? DD

Anyway, go test it! And put a smile on your faces, because just now in this beautiful weather you can use SO one fragrance absolutely perfectly :)

I dip the lavender in green (mint) tea
Oooooh! Once again I have a green tea scent of Elizabeth Arden in front of me! I have now tested some of these scents, all of which I thought were pretty great. You can probably already guess why I like these scents so much or why I like to test them so much, right?

What? You don't know? It's like you don't know why Bruce Wayne becomes Batman... oh wait,... maybe you really don't know that (although non comic fans should know this by now!!!)... :DD
Aaargh, why aren't women into comic books? *SOAP* :(((

But okay, I'll tell you, the tea thing: I love to test these scents because I love tea and I'm a bit crazy about tea scents... even if some of you here call me "generally crazy" *sigh* THAT DOES NOT VOICE! When I finally conquered the world and all my officers are made of cats, then we will see who is crazy here!!!

Well, until then, I'm going to get to this green tea scent with lavender "taste", which sounds quite interesting (and a bit harsh), and I hope that this scent has turned out nice here too!

The smell:
Aaah, I smell fresh, delicious green tea with a slightly flowery sweetness and a refreshing mint. The sweetness could not only be of floral origin, but probably also from the tangy tangerine (I guess...).
Admittedly, with the tea scent I only smell green tea briefly at the beginning, after that it is more difficult to determine what kind of tea scent exactly you smell, but that doesn't matter, as the tea smells nice anyway.
Lavender comes out little by little, but for the fact that the fragrance was named after lavender, the lavender here is surprisingly weak, even if you should notice its tart scent a bit. The floral notes, probably magnolias, smell a little stronger here, so the fragrance can certainly be described as floral. Meanwhile, most of the citrus notes from the top note have mostly faded away, but the fragrance still remains fresh and loose, because you can still smell at least a little bit of mint.
Towards the base, the fragrance has a spring-like fresh flowery scent, although unfortunately the tea has now clearly diminished. Nevertheless, a very nice scent! br />

The Sillage and the durability:
Hmm,... as expected, the sillage of the fragrance is unfortunately quite low. The fresh and citrusy notes smell quite good in the beginning, but the strength decreases too fast, so that the scent can only be sniffed for a short time from close up.
The shelf life may seem surprisingly long, as it has been sticking for more than eight hours, but after four or five hours it is of course extremely weak, actually almost body-hugging, but still smells quite nice, even though most of the scents should have evaporated by now.

The bottle!
The bottle has the flat-oval-rectangular shape of all Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea fragrances and this time it is purple in colour with a purple cap. As always, you can see a green leaf for the green tea on the front. Looks quite nice, even if it is actually quite unspectacular. But it has to look great on the shelf when you have some of these fragrances, as the bottles are quite colourful.

Yes, as expected, this scent is also quite great, but unfortunately it is only for you ladies... especially since this scent is also quite flowery *sigh*

It was unfortunately hired, but I would definitely test it if I should ever get my hands on it somewhere. On the other hand, for a tenner or so (from the internet) you could also test the fragrance blindly, in my opinion you can't do much wrong here. Because it is an excellent (good mood) scent for warm days. It is loose and light and is suitable for generous use during the day, as it will not bother anyone with its pleasant scent, on the contrary, I am sure it should be well received.

Aaah,... hmm... I wonder if there is any purple tea... if so, tell me! But only if you can drink it WITHOUT MILK, hey hey he :DD

Um, and a question in between: Am I annoying you with my enthusiasm for tea or tea scents? Aaaaah... I hope not....

I'm very sexy on the bus!
*sigh*
As you know, sometimes I still find it difficult to test one or the other women's fragrance in a shop. Especially when it's a fragrance like this one that interests more ladies and girls than I like :D

So I thought it would be a good idea to move my dentist to the earliest possible time so that I could spray certain feminine scents afterwards, hoping that this early in the morning and especially during the week there would be less women... um sorry, I mean of course less ladies. And yes, it was even true, because shortly after the store opened there weren't that many people in there yet. But there was a guy there, of all people, who looked at every fragrance in the ladies' department, but not at the fragrances themselves, but at the prices, because I saw that he compared these prices with the prices in the internet with his mobile phone and finally he left Dannen, so that I was finally alone in the ladies' department, mu ha ha ha ha. Of course, the new Prada Candy, the Candy Sugar Pop, came to my mind first, because I can only test these candy scents under the most difficult conditions (*sigh*), but unfortunately it was still not outside, so that I can test the scent, probably like all other candies, trembling and full of fear in the midst of a horde of women later on... aaaaah...

But back to this scent here. Yes, I could spray it on myself this time and even compare it (on the other arm) with the EDT of the fragrance. However, the journey home should turn out to be a little bit more difficult or even strange, but more about that later...

The smell:
Hm, actually the scent starts almost like the EDT, only a little less intense. That means it smells sweetly of jasmine. The bitter oranges are less present at the beginning, i.e. in the top note, or rather I find them quite weak. Only from the heart note onwards, or when the jasmine is a little weaker, can one detect hints of bitter oranges, which for me smell a little like the bitter, but still beautiful peels of these oranges. Ginger is only present for a short time when sprayed on, but you can only smell it if you sniff close enough to the sprayed area and know that ginger is inside (so it's somehow psychologically the whole thing :D).
Maritime notes, on the other hand, are perceived from time to time, but also only very weakly and for a short time.
This is because jasmine dominates most of the time, so the fragrance is the most sweet-smelling, and there are also light rose notes as a further floral note. The slightly darker sweetness that slowly emerges from the base and the slightly powdery feeling indicate the arrival of tonka bean and vanilla (tonka bean is the stronger note here), which then go well with jasmine. Overall, the tonka bean and jasmine here are a little weaker in this scent than in the EDT, so the scent seems a little less heavy.
Finally, in the later base, there is a more tonka and vanilla scent, with vanilla now providing the more intense scent. A nice scent, but on the whole, I find this scent quite similar to EDT.

The Sillage and the durability:
The charisma is quite good, because you leave a nice fragrance cloud. Not as strong as EDT or EDP, but you can still smell nice with this scent, even over normal distances and not just up close.
The durability is also high, so that the fragrance lasts longer than ten hours, depending on the dosage.

The bottle!
Once again, nothing has changed in the bottle, but it doesn't need to, because the bottle still looks beautiful with its apple shape. The fragrance liquid is now slightly lighter. There's still no label, so the name of the fragrance is on the front of the bottle, while the name "Unexpected" is written in a cursive font and looks good. As I said, the flacon is once again very successful.

Yes, I think the Unexpected is good as expected :D
However, the differences to the EDT are too small, so EDT users can actually save this scent, unless they want to have a slightly weaker scent, as the Sillage is slightly weaker here than with the EDT, but this difference is also rather small. In smaller doses, the scent is also good in spring for... well, during the day as well as (or especially) when going out.

Soo,... you know, on the way home I wore a cardigan, because I didn't want a big, sweet and feminine scent cloud to come out of me, which everyone can perceive immediately, because the city was already quite crowded and besides I had to get on the bus, which only comes every 30 minutes and therefore ALWAYS is really full. And especially in the bus I wanted to avoid that I smell so extremely of this women's fragrance here :D
Well, because of the warm weather it became hotter and hotter inside the bus than outside. So I was forced to take off the cardigan after all. Anyway, one could smell my scent through the cardigan on the sleeves, but one did not know yet where it came from. But now, when I took it off, I kindled a riiiiesige scent cloud. The scent of a sexy women's fragrance!

I don't even want to know what people were thinking, but luckily for me, many people are too busy with their smartphones today, but I did see some slightly irritated faces (of both sexes) *sigh* I mean, someone who hasn't shaved for a few days and therefore has a slightly thicker beard than usual, and also carries a Batman bag, suddenly starts smelling of flowery-sweet scents... aaargh, I think I'll never take that bus again! :D

But as for you ladies, I would test this fragrance, I liked it and I am sure that it would have to smell great and sexy with you as I said!

... hmph, now I also have to wash my cardigan, because the sleeves still smell extremely like a sexy woman! :D

Christmas party with Don Corleone
Festivus is a kind of "Christmas party", or rather an anti-celebration, the idea for which originates from the sitcom Seinfeld. The idea behind it is the elimination of religious symbols and the Christmas tree (instead a simple pole is put up) as well as consumer criticism. Furthermore, at the common dinner one should express one's anger and disappointments to the family members present and probably generally moan and complain at this "feast of love".

Therefore, the name of the fragrance is almost a contradiction in terms, since gangsters (i.e. mobsters) in particular would certainly not be thrifty and anti-consumption-adjusted to celebrate a party. Thus, in addition to the most expensive Christmas tree, the most exquisite mahls would be served, not to mention the exchange of expensive gifts (which seemingly only come from the mutual giving of envelopes with many 100 or 1000 dollar bills!)

Well, I have to admit, I myself am totally into Christmas, it's just a great time, the atmosphere is great, it's fun, even if it's sometimes stressful, so here you can turn a blind eye to the commercialized festivities and just enjoy the time itself!
And even if warmer days follow, you could keep this scent in mind for the festive days.

The smell:
The fragrance begins with great, generally Christmassy scents. There's cinnamon and spices that come across as delicious and sweet. Most noticeable is that the fragrance has a strong gingerbread note. But you can also smell filled sweets, filled with liqueur-like ingredients, which should be the whiskey note here.
The alcohol note gets stronger over time and always smells good. But also the other pastry and gingerbread-like scents can be smelled well for a long time.
Actually, the scent stays the same, only it gets weaker and weaker over time. Oh and I think you can only smell the eggnog or eggnog to a certain extent much later, when the other alcoholic scents fade a bit. A nice scent that reminds of a good time!

The Sillage and the durability:
Almost Dua-typical, this scent also has a high silage and can therefore be smelled over longer distances, because you simply leave a large scent cloud. Only its intensity lasts a bit less, so that it gets noticeably weaker after a few hours, but of course still remains quite strong compared to many other scents.
The shelf life is also quite okay again, so you can smell the fragrance for longer than eight or nine hours.

The bottle!
The bottle is rectangular and, as always, you can see a label on the front that fills the entire front of the bottle. Here you can see a close-up of a golden Christmas bauble hanging from a Christmas tree. The term "festivus" doesn't really mean that you should see a tree... but maybe the term "festivus" is just meant to stand for Christmas in general.
Well, the flacons are okay, though not that pretty.

Well, as just mentioned in the bottle description, this fragrance doesn't seem to have much to do with the meaning of the actual festival, so the name seems to stand for Christmas in general. That would also explain why the fragrance smells of pretty much all Christmas stuff like cinnamon, gingerbread, alcohol (mulled wine, chocolate with rum fillings).

As a Christmas fan, I like the fragrance very much of course, but it could only be used in winter because the scents are heavier and could be oppressive in summer. Of course there is always the question of whether you want to smell like gingerbread and stuff like that, but it could possibly be quite nice, maybe even when going out... You should try it.

For Christmas fans or lovers of such fragrances, the fragrance would definitely be worth testing, but unfortunately, the fragrance was limited to only 100 copies. And 99 bottles of it probably fell into the hands of Don Corleone, who resells them at horrendous prices :DD

...
Ah Christmas,... I know, you all can't wait until summer is finally here, but somehow I can't wait for Christmas :D
Hm, some people think that I would like winter more only because I'm single at the moment, but I don't know... it could be... I can't say that at the moment :D

I guess I'll stay a winter fan until then and I also like autumn very much, you know... because of Halloween and stuff, because I'm still so childish and stuff like that and I can't wait to hang creepy glowing skeletons on walls and trees or munch muffins with ghost-glazing, hmmm... no no no no, I just like Halloween and Christmas, and with that also autumn and winter, ugh :D.
But I have to admit that swimming in the sea in summer is one of the best things there is, but unfortunately it's only possible on holiday, if you don't live at a lake or something like that *sigh*
And spring is admittedly also very colourful with all the blooming flowers and stuff, of which, as always, I have no idea what they are called :DD
