If only the Ylang would not be...
Hello you fanatical fragrance sniffers! Here I am again, with a new fragrance at the start! This time a fragrance from Gucci... namely Flora Gorgeous Magnolia. So, you can imagine that I of course have no idea what magnolias are and especially how they look, let alone smell... but smart as I am, I first looked at the label of the bottle, because sometimes you can see on it, after what the fragrance should just smell. Good, right? NOT AT ALL!

Because next to the fragrance were other fragrances from Gucci, namely Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and Flora Gorgeous Jasmine... and you know what? All three fragrances have exactly the same label!!! Only the name is different (and the bottle color), but otherwise?.... Really great! Gorgeous Gardenia... what are gardenias now? Can I hang them on my windows or am I just confusing them with curtains? AAAAAAARGHRGHGRHG!!!

So I quickly checked online and yes, those pink flowers that take up a large part of the label are indeed magnolias! But why are they on the other fragrances? Shouldn't the other flowers have been in the foreground there? Like jasmine? Or those drapes?.. I meant gardenias, of course... :D

Anyway, the bottles look pretty nice in their pastel colors and labels, so I grabbed one of those and sprayed it on me. Soo,... and thus follows my fragrance report!

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts off quite sweet and fruity. The beginning reminds me of something, but what I just do not come up with. But can also be that it reminds me of some candy :)
Anyway, it smells nice, you can smell well the berries, the coconut is a little more in the background.
A little later you can notice the jasmine with its nice floral sweetness. This makes the fragrance even sweeter at first. Just a little later, however, the fragrance emits a scent that I haven't had under my nose for a long time, but can never forget this scent because I absolutely can't stand it: Ylang-Ylang.
Boah, Ylang-Ylang has a very distinctive and fierce scent that comes across opulent and for me also sultry and I actually want to run away, but unfortunately I can not, because the fragrance is on my arm. And indeed on the COMPLETE arm, so that I can describe him yes as accurately as possible, uffffff!
If now "somewhere" in the fragrance magnolias should smell (as I said, I have no idea how these flowers smell), then they probably go a little under, because ylang-ylang for me here is the main fragrance note and places itself above all other fragrances, which I personally find very unfortunate, because it so for me the fragrance somewhat broken.
In the base, you can still smell very strong radiating ylang-ylang, in addition comes through every now and then a quite opulent, further sweetness. A little patchouli reinforces the opulent impression of the fragrance a little and makes it a bit more tart. Musk and these light woods, well, I think I would not have come up with it if it were not here in the fragrance list.
Only in the later base, the strong ylang-ylang scent finally weakens, so that now many other fragrance notes, mainly sweet scents, are again better smellable. Thus, the late base is much nicer again, especially when the fragrance then also becomes slightly more powdery and at some point the great musk can also be smelled. All in all, a fragrance that is quite okay, but does not appeal to me so much because of the ylang-ylang.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is strong, although not overwhelming, but abundantly sprayed on one is certainly so some hours very well perceptible. The shelf life is also very good with over 10 hours!

The flacon:
The bottle is rectangular and narrows up towards the neck, on which the cylindrical and golden lid attaches. The purple shade in pastel colors looks beautiful and also fits the theme of the fragrance. On the label you can see a drawing of various plants, of which the magnolias stand out and the whole thing is very nicely done. All in all, a very nice bottle.

@!Conclusion:*
Soo, first of all, I should clarify one thing: Namely that my fragrance report, like any other test of mine, is purely subjective. And because I now times Ylang-Ylang soas of can not stand, I like the fragrance personally on the whole not so much.

I believe, however, that he could like most of you ladies quite well. Because he is not trivial or 0815-floral and also has many beautiful, sweetish fragrance notes to offer, although this could possibly even appear to some as too sweet.
He also radiates well, lasts a long time and you smell also not so much synthetic out.
Scent-wise, the fragrance is almost an all-rounder, but on too hot days I would not use it, as it could act genuinely suffocating and stifling.

You could use him well in the spare time, maybe even to go out, only then do not come too close to me with it, he he :D

Well, that's it again from me. Hm,... I still do not know now, how magnolias smell so, but what the heck, until the next time I have even forgotten for sure again, how they looked at all!
I wish you all a nice evening, until next time then :)

Delicate and gentle, but not a real sin!
Sin! That's the name of this fragrance here from Babylon Berlin that I tested the other day. Really, sin, you can't put a scent with a name like that in front of me. You know how sometimes I have really dirty things on my mind and I can't help but get some of it out in my comments. It's like a trigger where I just have to blab away!

SIN! Yeah man, full bad...all of us sin, in whatever form I guess. Us dudes probably sin with the help of thousands, dirty internet sites (or,... if you're an antique collector, then with the help of magazines, whose pages are hopefully not yet full of stickers :D),... maybe even so often that it can't be healthy :D

And you ladies? Of course you also sin! You don't even have to hide that. But of course you would never admit it and instead prefer to say that your biggest sin of the day was to have eaten two complete bars of chocolate all by yourself again, and that BEFORE MORNING, right? Yes yes yes...

You think I'm talking big nonsense again? Well, don't give me a fragrance with a name like Sin. Especially not if the manufacturer is called Babylon Berlin, because then you could also think of the allegory "The whore Babylon"... man, this could go on forever... :D
But: Of course I have myself now and then in the grip (boah, I bet even that sounded ambiguous now...), so I can report concentrated also on the fragrance itself...

The fragrance:
At the beginning, a huge, soft cloud of resinous-soft scents comes towards me. I smell a mix of myrrh, frankincense and benzoin. Nice and soft with a very light fruity touch. Then the pepper kicks in, where you might think this sounds rather incongruous with the soft scents. But no, even if the pepper tingles a little in the nose, it fits in very well with the other fragrance notes and makes the fragrance quite autumnal-wintery.
Later and also at the end, the fragrance remains largely unchanged, well, with one exception: the pepper decreases over time until it is completely gone. After that, the fragrance remains powdery soft and of course also sweetish with the described notes. All in all, a not necessarily particularly spectacular, but still beautiful fragrance.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is quite okay. It's not weak, so others can definitely smell it, but also not so strong that everyone could feel smothered (unless of course you overdo it with the application, but this is true for all fragrances). The longevity is good, with the scent lasting eight to twelve hours, depending on how much was applied.

The bottle:
The bottle... hmpf... am I wrong, or does the bottle look like a lady? Yes really, look: This form, the (angular) curves... well, to some extent anyway :D In any case, I find the flacon but succeeded, because it also looks different than a standard rectangular flacon. Color-wise it is also quite nice and I also like the "necklace", in which a golden plaque with the brand name hangs.

Conclusion:
So, sexy or even like sin the fragrance doesn't seem to me now. He is just a nice, but a little too general autumn-winter fragrance without great strengths (or weaknesses) and smells like most might already like it, if you did not already have so some such resinous-soft fragrances perhaps, while the pepper is already something that does not occur in many such fragrances. If you're into these types of scents, but haven't tried many of them yourself, then you might want to give it a look. Otherwise, apart from the initial pepper, you will not be able to discover much new in this fragrance for yourself.

Anyway, it is suitable for using it in the evening or for going out, but could work well in smaller doses during the day for everyday use on cooler days.

Well, that's about it for this fragrance here. That's all that can be said about Sin without mentioning more embarrassing things like the solo gaudi hinted at in the introduction, right? Anyway, that's it from me again. Have a nice evening everyone and see you :)

PS: When you ladies read the two bars of chocolate earlier, you must have gotten ravenous now, right? Mu ha ha, I can already see how you just armed with a glass of Nutella and a spoon sitting in front of Parfumo, and all thanks to me, he he he :DD

Who's inviting me to tea?
Hello you fragrance fanatics! It is once again time to press your Glubschauugen to the monitor or screen (boah, must leave an imprint on the screen... :D) and read my latest fragrance report :))

It's all about the brand Penhaligon's today, who I'm sure many are familiar with. However, the Equinox Bloom fragrance from it could possibly be a little less known. Equinox, hmm... I only know Equinox as an (older) video game, but I'm sure few people will think of that, since you're not nerds like me, argh! :D But Equinox means equinox, which is the equinox, where the day is as long as the night and which only happens twice a year (beginning of spring and beginning of fall)... but also few of you will think of that, since you're not nerds like me, mu ha ha ha :D

He he, okay, so Equinox Bloom is supposed to be dedicated to a very typical, English tradition, anyway: Afternoon Tea. Which hopefully you'll be invited to and where, besides the tea, a beautifully decorated room (wrapped in lovely, floral scents), but most importantly lots of yummy things like cupcakes etc. await you, hmm :)

So maybe we can also assume that the scent could be sweet/gourmand as well as floral, but we'll find out for sure in a minute!

The fragrance:
I smell at the beginning of many floral notes as well as floral water, so I mean this scent of water in the flower pots of florists, which has taken from many flowers just a floral note, which then smells just flowery and tart and this scent floats everywhere in the air, if you just enter a flower shop. Besides, there are also sweetish-gourmandige notes, although still very light in their charisma, but they are there as expected.
The fragrance becomes quite tart in the middle part, but also quite sweet. Almost like sitting in a room eating cake and being surrounded by flowers like lavender.
Later, both the tart and gourmand scents become more intense, while the background becomes soft and almost creamy.
Towards the base, the scent becomes a bit more opulent, this could be due to both the sugar and the florals, which now smell more intense and also slightly sultry. I actually do not like it when a fragrance starts to get stuffy, but here it is not so strong, so that the overall impression is still quite good with me. It could also be that the scent just radiates nicer due to benzoin, as this is quite a nice and soft scent. So is the base of the fragrance, so there are hardly any changes to it towards the end and it also doesn't get stuffier as I feared, no it stays nice and floral. A total somewhat unimpressive, but still quite nice fragrance.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is okay, you will be able to smell the scent well for a while in my opinion without filling the room with it right away. The shelf life was also okay, about six hours is quite alright I think.

The bottle:
The bottle has the familiar cylindrical shape of all Penhaligon's bottles, where as usual you can see an elaborate label on the front, in this case with floral patterns. The lid is cylindrical and chrome on the lower side while it is spherical and slightly milky on the top. And as usual, the lid has a silk bow on it as a trademark, which is pink here. A very beautiful bottle, as always.

Conclusion:
Equinox Bloom is for me personally a fragrance that is not now one of my favorites among Penhaligon's, but it is not bad and especially for most ladies possibly worth a look.

Due to its gourmandigen charisma I would classify the fragrance in the autumn and winter and recommend it mainly for going out or for the evening, although this fragrance is actually quite an all-rounder on cold days, which you could also use daily, for example at work, if you do not spray yourself from top to bottom properly.

There is actually nothing more to say about the fragrance. Therefore, I babble no further rum and yes, thanks for reading and until next time, have a nice evening :)

Is also not the cracker, howl yet.... :D
Hey hey, here I am again and describe a fragrance of which I had already described the EDP, but honestly can hardly remember the scent... namely Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. I had described the EDP some time ago and well, the scent was rather average for me. That I had not given 10 points, had probably upset some beastly Parfumas at the time, he he.

Now it's the turn of the EDT, but I doubt that the fragrance will be so extremely better than the EDP, especially since the EDP was rated better than the EDT here anyway. The beasts among you will surely rave again, if I give again no 10 points, but well, let's see :D

Since, as I said, I can hardly remember the EDP, it will be rather less of a comparison test. Instead, I smell and describe the fragrance itself, without really going into detail about differences between the two versions of the fragrance, because I can not just as I said.

Okay, I'll take a sniff then.

The fragrance:
The beginning is sweetish, powdery and also a little citrusy-fresh. One smells jasmine, which provides the sweetness, red pepper with a fruity-sweet scent as well as a little orange. In addition, there are floral scents, where I would first guess roses, but the impression soon disappears again, so that I would then only talk about "general, floral notes", because I can not determine floral scents well anyway, as you certainly know.
The sweetness of the fragrance becomes increasingly sweet and opulent, in addition, the fragrance has a light, clean note, especially in the middle part.
Later, the fragrance continues to be quite sweet, added now a little patchouli. Still later, the fragrance even becomes quite opulent in terms of sweetness. It's a kind of slightly stuffy, fiercely floral sweetness, that could come from the osmanthus. Still, the background is still powdery, almost soft. I don't smell amber that strongly. This is how the fragrance eventually comes to an end. It's all okay, but not necessarily my kind of sweetish women's fragrance :D

The sillage and the durability:
The vibrancy of the fragrance is quite okay, I imagined the scent to be stronger though, so I assumed more of a banger. It is of course not weak, but there are much stronger. The durability, however, I found okay, as the fragrance lasted over eight hours with me.

The bottle:
The bottle is still shaped like a hand grenade, of course, but the glass is more faceted on the EDT than the EDP. This looks okay and original, but I think the EDP has a nicer bottle. Other than that, you can also see a metal plaque in the middle with the name and brand, as well as the "pin" of the hand grenade, which shows the logo of Viktor & Rolf. Is quite okay, the whole thing.

Conclusion:
Okay, so this Flowerbomb has me now also not soo much liked (and already the beasts bare their teeth :D). He is okay, as the EDP, but for me no firecracker. That's because I fragrances that become more opulent especially towards the end and in addition but also sultry-sticky, just do not like so much. I feel these fragrances as oppressive and therefore not particularly fragrant.

It may be that there are crazies among you who are totally on such a thing and send me preferably death threats, because I do not like their so much beloved fragrances so much and especially also do not rate with top marks, but I will not be impressed by this and remain with my opinion, mu ha ha :D

The scent for me is an autumnal scent that could actually be best used for going out, but you guessed it I will say: I find that there are far nicer fragrances for going out. Sure, it's all a matter of taste, but still :D

And that's about it, so for me the scent is neither better nor worse than the EDP (as far as I remember it correctly), so I personally don't like either scent :D

Well then, have a nice evening (or go cry in a corner if I was too critical of your favorite scent, he he) :)

A million women cleaning toilets?
Hi guys, what's up? Nice that you read again here something from me! :D
Perhaps my title has irritated you? Well, then I want to clear that up right away: I have a toilet cleaner standing here, on which something with "raspberry fragrance" is written. I mean, with something like that I didn't think you could smell the raspberry scent well anyway, since you're just cleaning the toilet and it might smell a little chemical on the side. Kind of like all those cleaners that say citrus freshness on them, but they still have a strong chemical scent. Anyway, after using the toilet duck, a strong and even almost delicious smelling raspberry note rose right away, which reminded me of raspberry ice cream. Argh, that was already a stupid association at the sight of the toilet... So, then, when testing this fragrance (right after the cleaning action) here rose in the top note immediately a raspberry note in my nose, and for a moment my arm smelled like the freshly cleaned toilet... mu ha ha ha, that's sick, ey! :D

Hey hey, so anyway, I'm testing Lady Million EDP by Paco Rabanne and I honestly have to say I don't have high expectations. I'm not a big fan of Paco Rabanne anyway, and I didn't really like the Million fragrance for men either. But I have to admit that the bottles of this brand are often quite fancy, which I think is good, even if they seem quite cheap material-wise. Anyway, so now comes this fragrance here, let's see how he is still so!

The fragrance:
As just mentioned in the introduction already rises at the beginning of a strong raspberry note. This soon mixes with neroli as well as quite sweet jasmine. The honey, which is indicated for the base, you can now already smell a little. This enhances the sweetness, even though it has a heavy and somewhat spicy vibe. And then comes patchouli, which gives the fragrance a certain maturity, so I want to say that the fragrance for me thus becomes somewhat unsuitable for younger girls, because otherwise from the whole presentation (and also with the men's fragrance in mind) you could rather think that it could just be a kind of teenager fragrance (or young adults).
Later, the fragrance becomes sweeter again and the described, more mature fragrance notes lose some of their intensity, but still remain. What also stands out well is a large, noticeable synthetic, which was probably to be expected anyway, especially in such fragrances. After that, the fragrance hardly changes and remains as described.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is strong, I had expected, but have him imagined even stronger. Anyway, the fragrance will be good to smell. The shelf life is also pretty good with over ten hours.

The bottle:
The bottle has the shape of a golden gemstone. The upper half is made of gold-plated plastic (was it plastic? I'm not sure anymore...) while the lower half is glazed and through which you can see the golden-yellow fragrance liquid. The spray head has been integrated into the top section, which you just have to push down, so there's no separate lid. All in all, quite swanky, but at least it's also quite varied as opposed to a stinky rectangular bottle. Is quite okay, even if the processing might come across a little too cheap.

Conclusion:
Alright, first of all: I don't really think the scent is grotty. He is okay, is not now a fragrance that I would personally necessarily recommend, but he will find his followers and have... well from me. There are much nicer fragrances, but as I said, it is all in all still better than I expected.

Only I find the charisma of the fragrance itself somehow slightly inappropriate for the target audience. Because the fragrance has, especially in the middle part, a somewhat heavier charisma and almost seems like a fragrance for many adults, and by adults I mean here not young adults in their 20s, but all who are already weeeeeeit over 30-40. But would they look at this fragrance? I don't know, the synthetics would bother me a bit, even if it's not that bad. Hm, it is already difficult to describe and classify this fragrance. But for the younger ones I can imagine much nicer scents (yes yes, now I would recommend the Alien and Prada Candys anyway, because they smell so yummy on the girls, aaaah! :DD).

Other than that, the scent is an all-rounder, could be used all the time, maybe just not on too hot days. Most will certainly use the fragrance as a going out fragrance, it fits well with that.

That's it then again from me. Well then... I'll go see if the toilet still smells like raspberries... argh! :D
Have a nice evening and see you next time :)
