150,000 perfumes - We celebrate a new milestone!

With information on an incredible 150,000 perfumes from over 10,000 brands, our community has reached an impressive milestone. By the way, the anniversary perfume was Tabacco Smeraldo by Miguel Matos.

When it comes to questions about fragrances, Parfumo now offers a level of knowledge and detail that is unmatched anywhere in the world. The Parfumo research project started more than 9 years ago with the aim of creating a knowledge database of fragrances which provides comprehensive sources for all details about the individual perfumes.

Since its launch in 2013, more than 370,000 sources (!) have been collected by over 3,000 users for this purpose - an incredible achievement that would have been unimaginable at the time.

Parfumo has since become a significant contribution to the preservation of knowledge about all the world's fragrances. Perfumes that would otherwise be permanently forgotten are preserved for posterity.

I would like to thank all users who dedicate themselves to this project with enormous ambition and care. Your work makes this unique treasure trove of knowledge possible and thus enriches our beautiful hobby for very many people. 💖
