Arabian nights
I've been thinking for a long time about how to do Lamar by Kajal justice in words. The fragrance has had an incredible fascination on me from the first smell. It is so dazzling, deep and multi-faceted. And then the song "Arabian nights" from the movie Aladdin came to mind. Lamar is not an Oriental, but he expresses that mystery for me...
Walking through a lush oriental market, there is something new to discover at every corner. In the background rise the towers of the palace of the Sultan, where the most wonderful treasures are waiting.

For me, it is difficult to smell out individual notes in Lamar, but that does not matter, because he is simply a work of art for me with a great sillage and durability

Gran Ballo in the castle garden
I was a bit deterred by the bottle, which is quite pink. However, I found the name "Gran Ballo" so interesting that I had to test the perfume. Already at the first spray I was blown away. I find the scent very floral, but in an unsweet way. What I also really like is that the scent is not overbearing and the sillage doesn't slay you. For me it is the perfect companion for a summer evening. A garden party on a starry night... the wind blowing a hint of florals over every now and then.... The Gran Ballo in a castle garden.
Since I've read that the fragrance is supposed to be very similar to Viva la Juicy, I'll definitely compare that soon. However, I find this bottle still a bit less beautiful.... Then rather pink!

Vanilla and cedar - a sweet-tart melange
"Vanilla Paradox" appealed to me because of the great color of the bottle and the name of course also makes very curious. A paradoxical vanilla - I expect an exciting and complex fragrance.

After the first spray, I smell a tangy grapefruit, but it quickly disappears. Then comes a great gin note, which would have liked to linger longer. However, after a few minutes, I only notice the woody cedar with a slight vanilla note. This combination is actually interesting. Cedar always seems a bit musty and dusty to me, but here it gets a certain looseness.

The scent reminds me of a spring walk in the woods, when the wind blows the sweet hint of a spring flower past every now and then, resulting in a sweet-tart melange.

Overall, "Vanilla Paradox" is an exciting scent, but one that I don't yet know if I would actually wear in everyday life.

It actually smells like cake!
When I read that other "Lira" reminds me of lemon cake and baking cookies, I couldn't really believe it and of course had to check it out right away ;-)

In fact, the scent smells exactly like butter cookie dough with a bit of lemon zest. Really delicious! On the upbeat, though, it's absolute cookie dough overkill for me! As if you had eaten the whole bowl at once empty and now you're sick.
Later on, Lira gets more mellow. You really get into the Christmas spirit and want to snuggle up in a blanket with a cup of punch. For me, a great winter scent, which unfortunately still has to wait a few months for me.

A Weak Delina Exclusive
I was really looking forward to Dark Puple by Montale and finally my bottling arrived. At the first smell I immediately thought: "I know that scent!" At first I didn't think of it and then it came to me: Delina Exclusive!
Overall, I am a little disappointed by Dark Purple. In the prelude I smell something medicinal. Very faintly it reminds me even later on Delina exclusive, however, the Dark Purple is barely noticeable on my skin. (Although, by my standards, I sprayed quite a lot.) This irritates me a bit, since it is stated here that the fragrance has an above-average sillage. I somehow can't smell out individual fragrance notes either. I have to find out whether the fragrance is more perceptible to others around me, but since I mainly spray the fragrances for myself, Dark Purple has unfortunately failed with me.
