When you order several different bottlings, actually more looking forward to a special fragrance and then suddenly "Join the Club - 40 Knots " by Xerjoff steals the show.
So is my story to this wonderful fragrance.

An absolute top fragrance in my opinion and would H+S better, it would have the other fragrances difficult with me to get attention.
Sweet-salty water smell, which smells much better than it sounds at first :)

A scent that is hard to get enough of and I find myself sniffing it over and over again.

It is for me a fragrance to go out to the disco or bar...but also for other events imaginable.
A walk along the harbour in the evening along a lighted street with different bars and places on holiday during summer. :)

Scent: sweet sea water in perfection
Durability: good
Sillage: could be better, therefore only an OK

Like so many, I am already quite a while in search of the perfect fragrance, which makes a clear announcement and is clearly perceived over several hours...This is just the dream idea, which could not be 100% fulfilled so far and probably never will, but on this journey one encounters a wide variety of fragrance compositions, including Tuscan Leather

Extreme Noir was a term and already known to my nose, but I was unfortunately not really convinced of the strength, so I unfortunately ignored for a while TOM FORD until I then decided to try TL...fortunately

Leather is certainly very special and not really comparable to any other fragrance, but I have to say that I like it.
It radiates for me a warmth in which you feel comfortable, although TL is not really sweet and that is just special for me. Something like that you just have to try yourself to understand it well.

For me also TL is more suitable for the colder days and also if you are just in a cozy mood, at least that is my association.
Very similar to Godolphin from PdM, but a bit stronger. Nevertheless, I like both versions very well.

Scent: leather ;)
Durability: very good
Sillage: good in armlängen range

What a smell!!!
It attacks mercilessly without regard to losses and after initial shock and uncertainty, this remarkable fragrance unfolds into a true vetiver experience.
Yes, I like vetiver, that's hardly deniable, even after I used to search for this ingredient, which I like in fragrances, but I couldn't quite place it in the spectrum, which at that time had familiar smells, to finally find a common ground, also perfumed, thank you: Vetiver
But that certainly does not mean that I like every vetiver scent.
The mixture has to be right... and it definitely is right here
With the first sprayer one notices a certain sharpness, which works at the beginning somewhat deterrent, but disappears fast, in order to leave room for a very pleasant smell, which looks for me security also the suitable cause or at least does not suit everyone or let's say it in such a way:
Not everyone does justice to the scent ;)
I smell here a self-confident "male" man ;), who clearly knows what he wants and radiates it accordingly. Something sweet, green, woody
Nishane does many things right here and makes curious about other creations of this brand.
Scent: My current Vetiver King
Shelf life: very good
Sillage: In the beginning bombastic and then becomes very good, but you can add more :)
Flacon: The lid is an eye-catcher and otherwise solid

Was it coincidence or fate that brought me together with this unique fragrance?
At that time, without great expectations, I ordered a few bottlings of the fragrances that were interesting for me at that time, without even having an idea that one of them would become my favourite fragrances.
My focus was actually on a different scent and honestly the first sprayer of "French Lover" didn't convince me that much and I thought in the first moment: Pretty green and spicy-fresh... so actually my scent direction and somehow I had this scent in my head and in my nose.
Then came the second attempt and I was already done for.
What a wonderful enrichment, as already said, greenish and spicy, Vetiver+patchouli dance around and enchant me.
Something for the real man, who knows what he wants, self-confidence, good manners is the message here.
The only negative thing is, as so often...the price, but on the other hand I don't want to smell this fragrance on everyone, it should be and remain something special.
I was lucky and got a relatively cheap bottle of the magic elixir.

Durability: 4-6 h
Sillage: initially max. arm length

Vetiver is clearly one of my favourite ingredients when it comes to the production of fragrances and here we have some representatives of this species.
It started as a scent sample and finally ended with the purchase of the original bottle and it was certainly not a bad buy.
Depending on where you buy it, the price varies a lot and normally you should get 100ml under 30€, everything else is too expensive.
"dark" hits the nail on the head.
Vetiver is clearly noticeable, very masculine, no sweetness perceptible...surely nothing for a visit to a disco or for the younger generation, but still for a (business) man who knows what he wants.
Flacon: black noble, lid in wood optics, a heavy chunk with statement
Shelf life and Sillage: rather in the better range, although Sillage flattens out after a few hours (but at what scent it doesn't do that ;) )
