With umbrella, charm and melon
In search of a new signature scent, a constant companion who suited me, an alter ego so to speak, I was wandering through the perfume departments of the small city as if through a nightlife. Had met there old friends and acquaintances. Jil Sander Sun, actually we never had anything to say to each other, she was always too conventional for me, too adapted...Or Kenzo Flower, once my best friend, but somehow we lived apart. I left her behind in her romantic naivety, had gone other ways, grown up...
And then there's Joop Le Bain, still the dress-up buzz in the purple acrylic sweater and with nude lipstick. And, oh, fright! All about Eve was also here, wearing a tattoo choker and a white crocheted sweater and camel boots. We met once in the dance school and immediately knew that we had nothing in common.
Also met some nice new ones...The Kenzo siblings Aqua and Air...Bright, light and cheerful both, Aqua with a flower in the hair, Air in the sheath dress, with geometric pattern. Maybe we'll go on vacation together sometime.

It was getting late and I had to get home soon. And then at the exit, she caught my eye... an apparition! Elegant and infinitely stylish at the same time, in a knee-length tweed coat, French cut under a red hippie hat, destroyed jeans, light sneakers and beautiful even without make-up. Wasn't that Carla Bruni's little sister? 'That's Twilly' they whispered to me. Someone introduced us. Twilly spoke with a deep, melodious voice. What she said had hand and foot. She spoke directly, but never unfriendly, so charming and also somewhat sexy with a French accent. She was an intellectual beauty, could charm, but also intimidate a little. Despite all her charm, she always remained a little distant. Her look was stylish with class, was never cheap, never intrusive, somehow retro, but still modern.
She was an artist, had a British father who had gone to school with Mick Jagger and a French mother. She grew up in Paris, where she studied at the Ecole de Beaux Arts, later in London. She had written and photographed for an independent art magazine. A scholarship enabled her to spend half a year in L.A., currently living with a friend in San Francisco and learning pottery.

Twilly as fragrance: The pyramid is rather flat, minimalistic, but very beautifully composed: Ginger spiciness in the top note is maintained throughout, is gently caressed by the tuberose, as the fragrance progresses the fragrance becomes warmer, somewhat powdery, somewhat soapy. I think it's wonderful that the spiciness lasts so long, which gives the fragrance a distinctive twist despite all the light sweetness. I think it's cool.
You have to be sparing with it, otherwise it becomes too heavy, through the sandalwood, almost an Oriental. This is more for autumn and winter. See tweed coat. For me, this is a fragrance that attracts and chicens even without a sophisticated 'outfit'.
And now my personal 'unfortunately': my husband doesn't like the scent at all. He's more of a fresh guy... Oh Menno...

Guys, good luck with Twilly and greetings!
Adieu!

Prose poem with associations to Hugo Boss Woman
The sun is shining, the air is clear and fresh. A magpie couple jumps through the garden and discusses the marriage contract, the daffodils nod amicably. In the background the beguiling foam of the fruit trees, does not fit quite to the objective atmosphere of the two. Apple tree, plum tree, ornamental cherry. Hopefully the Reineclauden this year what...
After the shower I am quickly on socks outside, small weather check. Shower gel ran out, had to take 'Something Man Fresh' from my husband. I have such a soapy taste in my mouth.
The night frost is now morning dew and the morning dew is now soaking my socks. Cold feet, my own fault.

The fragrance should match my turquoise sixties coat and the colourful statement sneakers. I still remember 'Hugo Woman', back then, at nineteen twenty. So modern, so clear, so fresh. Just like me back then, right? But the reissue is not a reissue. Hardly remember. Doesn't matter, I'm not. Look at this.

Infusion galium odoratum
This is really a wonderful fragrance, but I perceive it differently and would describe it differently than most of you here.
I bought a miniature because I am looking for a new signature scent and am actually looking for something fresh, striking with flowers and statement, but feminine nevertheless. I found it, but I'll write another comment about it ;-)

First of all: Bvlgari The Vert is not suitable as a signature scent for me, it simply has too little sillage for that. Nevertheless, I like the scent very much. In my opinion it is suitable for cool, but sunny spring and autumn days.

Tea scents seemed to me to be the right direction for now. When I read about pepper, honey and tonka bean in Bvlgari The Vert, I became sensitive. I didn't want it to be as cool and fresh as Ardens Green Tea and I promised myself spice and sharpness, but also a little temperature, some sun.

The citrus-yellow top note from the bergamot flies away rather quickly, but leaves a delicate, peppery and fresh memory in the heart note right up to the base note.
When the nose has almost forgotten the top note, a surprising, fine, narrow, dark green bouquet of flowers unfolds. A small, dark green bouquet of tiny white flowers. Tea leaves.... I also smell a little of an Indian spice tea I once had in my closet. That must be the cardamom. The heart note also only stays in the nose for a very short time and then passes into a sip in the base note, so to speak. It's getting warm!
The fragrance alternates between pepper, honey, green notes and very clear and dominant...woodruff!

Some time ago I had a box of tonka beans in my closet with a broken lid. Every time I opened the cupboard door, this heavenly smell streamed towards me. The fragrance is called coumarin and is found in both woodruff and tonka bean. The two smell similar to each other, in the tonka bean you may notice a hint of cream or vanilla.

Bvlgari The Vert is a light, soft green tea, gently perfumed with jasmine and bergamot, served in an almost transparent snow-white cup of Fine Bone China. On the bottom, a generous serving of golden honey. Stir with a filigree silver spoon. It's clashing quietly. This tea invigorates the palate and warms the stomach and soul. Half an hour of bliss, then memory.

Heavenly, but it's a pity the Sillage is so weak.

Walk in May/water lilies
For me, the scent is a walk in May. It has just rained, the rainbow has faded, the now dry warm sunrays the lilac, the violets and the hyacinths. The scent is flowery, but light and full of suspicion, a little aquatic.

I think the name 'Flora Nymphea' alludes to water lilies, at least that's their botanical name. The scent also reminds very much of water lily scent.
Long shelf life and beautiful Sillage. I've been asked a lot about that. Too bad it was limited.

Gummy bear schnapps on melted record
Fragrance pyramid is imperceptible to me. It smells from the bottle like a blackberry schnapps and on the skin like a pink gummi bear. Strongly synthetic. Stings through the nose directly into the brain. I found the scent very clumsy. The bottle's pretty, though
