Purple Rain and Infusion d'Iris smell the same, many write. Aha, exciting...
Since I love Infusion d'Iris, I had to test both fragrances of course :-) And together!
Two sprays of Purple Rain on the left and two sprays of Infusion d'Iris on the right. Lo and behold, they are indeed closely related and yet different. No big surprise for me, BUT:

Purple Rain: Starts off creamy-butty and stays creamier throughout. The scent is less citrusy and spicy. Purple Rain is denser. Seems fine, classy, noble and mature. This is exactly how I imagine an elegant fresh iris fragrance to be. For me, one of the best iris interpretations.

Infusion d'Iris: Nice everyday fragrance, an evergreen, seems more sporty and uncomplicated. Starts citrusy and stays citrusy and spicy throughout. Jeans on, T-shirt on and out...

At one point I caught the two relatives meeting at the common ground, then going their own ways again.

Although I've been wearing Infusion d'Iris for a long time and rated it a full 10, if I had to choose, I'd go with Olfactories - Purple Rain.

The traditional Japanese Kabuki theatre?

I'm standing amidst delicate roses in the flower shop in the early morning. "The delivery man just delivered the roses," the beautiful woman with her dark hair loosely pinned up tells me. I take a quick look at the fresh roses. The raindrops on the petals are beading off. The beautiful woman cuts my fresh, pinkish-white roses at an angle on the stems. Briefly, she looks at me. She smiles. I breathe in and out deeply: Rose Kabuki. I smile back.

On a hot summer day.
Took a cold shower. Put on my jeans.
Over that, a freshly washed white t-shirt.
The table in the garden is set with a white tablecloth.
The friends are there.
We are drinking Lugana.
We eat pasta al limone.
And dance tarantella.
We laugh.
Let's dance.
Let's have fun.
Life is beautiful.
