Kemi, a brand where real oud in almost every perfume has stock. I as an oud lover had to test there of course immediately the Ilm extensively, since in any case on the fragrance pyramid only oud is listed, at least different varieties.
That's exactly what makes Ilm so interesting for me.

In fact, I notice ongoing scent developments in Ilm, constantly changing oud on my skin - be sure to test on skin! The longest I perceive the Thai oud that reveals itself on my skin only after 30 minutes, this then remains present for several hours. The Thai Oud is for me the most beautiful specimen of the Ouds in Ilm.
It must be said that the oud has many facets and smells different depending on the origin, age, distillation, quality and handling. Nevertheless, I recognize Thai oud immediately, because this character - which is difficult to describe - is immediately recognizable to me.
After about 6-7 hours, the Laotian oud actually comes out more and lets it die down very softly.

Ilm never smells the same to me, I often get to feel different facets of the eaglewood which makes my heart mention it.

The oud is clearly a natural (real) oud, which is probably why not all noses can relate to it, as they are more used to other categories.
However, as soon as one begins to appreciate this eagle wood, it is a complete pleasure for the soul.

A thoroughly unique perfume, as most "oud scents" are still mixed with rose or saffron, and/or have synthetic oud added. Ilm is different!

Above all, Ilm reveals several aspects of the oud, which I simply lack in pure oud oils.

Ilm is mystical, unique, precious, present, rich, high quality and thoroughly sexy!
Nevertheless, the fragrance MUST be on the skin in the really also all facets can feel.

The durability as well as projection I feel as strong.
The fragrance often lingers on my skin for 10+ hours and projects quite strongly from the heart note onwards.
Perfect!
I'm into strong scents anyway, this one is perfect for that.

Forget all Roja Ouds, The Night etc... this one is a real Oud scent!

I was never really taken with the Le Male series
Not from LeMale or any of the other perfumes that came out.
I also tend to stay in the niche segment, as I prefer exotic or unique perfumes with soul, depth and complexity.
Well, Ultra Male with its striking dark body flacon caught my eye immediately at the Douglas. In the community he is declared to be quite cute, so I thought, oh testing won't hurt.

I don't think I need to explain much more about the scent.
It is quite, no, very sweet paired with a unique pear note as a top note.
Synthetic of course, there's no other way.
But I don't want to go into more detail about synthetics and naturalness, not suitable for me here.
Vanilla, some woods I can also fix, as well as molecules that serve as support to give the fragrance its strength

Of course, you can't talk about uniqueness here either, because it is included in the mass market, and so uniqueness goes down the drain.
Aventus is no different.

In any case, I personally simply like the fragrance character. It goes down well, has an appealing scent and invites you to intimacy, provided you dose it correctly.

Many speak of the Club Scent, a fragrance that is made just for that. You can't even categorize a single category for a fragrance.

The fragrance has many facets, of course it is well suited for the club, because it has the sweetness.
But you can also use it for many other purposes - for cuddling, alone in front of a fireplace at Christmas time, at events where you want to symbolise your chocolate side, at meetings with girls, during intimate conversations in twos as it radiates a feel-good character and much more...

It is absolutely universal, you just have to know how and where. Of course, the character should also be coherent.

The durability and projection is above average.
I can perceive really long on me.
In the end even where it becomes really sweet and smooth.
Adheres loosely over 12 hours.
It's good for 3-4 hours of projection
Afterwards he withdraws in small steps.


The fragrance seems to be nothing special, no depth, no complexity, cheap ingredients, a lot of synthetics and yet I really like it.
I enjoy it every time.
Since I often walk around in an All White outfit, he seems to cuddle up to my aura.
I like it, great!

The Kemi brand is clearly one of my favorites.
Not only because the compositions appear unique and round, but because I get the impression that the quality of the ingredients is on a high level, which is rarely found in the world of perfume - even in the niche.
Well, now I guess everyone knows that I really appreciate Kemi :-)

To the fragrance:
He starts like I'lm, yeah, full pot of dirty Animalian oud. From there on you could think : Wash up !!!!!
It takes real guts, but it's worth it. Means: Leave it on
After about 2-3 hours something sweet is added. The oud is still clearly perceptible, but moves a little into the background.
Caramel and vanilla continue to advance, as well as woody undertones which are not relevant to mention, as they take over the task of serving as a supporting base for the main notes, which is what makes it so round.
From 4 hours on, the fragrance becomes more and more sweet and beautiful, the vanilla takes up more and more space, so that the oud is pushed into the background where it fits perfectly.
But the 6 hour is for me an absolute cuddly scent - tea, open fire, blanket, partner and off we go :-)

I have never experienced such a reversible scent that glides from one extreme to the other like an eagle in the air.

A fragrance of polarity.

It symbolizes power, strength, love, success, wealth, uniqueness paired with secrets?

The durability is very strong. After 8h it is still clearly perceptible.
The projection is typically Kemi strong.

What a great smell, test it out.

The oud seems to me to be clearly of natural origin, and clearly perceptible.

I have smelled real oud - there are many differences, because the origin, dilution, distillation, age of the resin etc... are relevant for the odour chord.

Anyway, it seems to me to be real, really, even if only in small quantity, you can smell it :-)

In the year 2020 I thought to myself, oh there I will test the Aventus Cologne once again.

In 2019 I rated him badly, probably too early, the time was not yet ripe for it, as it turned out.
Rated too early, rated too poorly, not a successful opinion.

So much for that...

I don't think I need to write much more about the fragrance, except that the cologne starts fresher and even fruitier than the original.
I perceive a lot of tangerine, lemon and ginger. In the course of the day the birch and vetiver become more dominant. At the end the sandalwood and the tonka bean sensually join in.
Musk serves as a useful support for me.

Aventus on the left hand and Cologne on the right.
Both are really very nice scents, I can't say which of them I like more at the moment - update is coming soon

The Cologne convinces me with its liveliness, naturalness, quality and diversity.

For me, no designer can match the quality of cologne, you simply notice the naturalness and balance of the fragrance.
Apart from musk and the supporting components for durability - synthetic molecules, I smell the pure naturalness of the fragrance. The quality seems to me to be very high, compared to many other fragrances.

The durability as well as projection is on a high level with me. It projects the first hours strongly and is even after 8h still perceptible - here too an update follows.

A great fragrance for warmer as well as colder days, each unit of the Celsius degree moves and lifts the fragrance in a different direction, simply ingenious.
It is lively but also sensual, strong but not penetrating, suitable for the masses but unique.

A new Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance, I really need to test it. Eiso off to the perfumery that offers mainly designer fragrances - Douglas. Searched, found, the well-known bottle that this time has a golden accent on the spray head - not bad.

I would like to add that I own Ultra Male and I am proud of it.
Le Male, on the other hand, does not, because I simply do not like him.
One quickly thinks, the eau de parfum intense couldn't be better?

But now let's get to the scent itself.

Even the beginning starts quite differently from his little mint-heavy brother. The cardamom is clearly visible, not a trace of mint, which is why he starts a little sweeter than the Le Male.
After a while the warm vanilla joins in more and more. I also perceive the lavender, but not as a main chord.
I also recognize cinnamon, although not specified, but I can recognize it. There are other notes hidden underneath that round off the whole work.

Main chords : cardamom, cinnamon, gourmand notes.....

All in all, the whole work is rounder and more defined than its little brother, so it makes it a bit more adult.

Because of its sweetness it could be worn in clubs as well as on romantic encounters.

He likes to feel best in the evenings as well as on colder days.


The durability as well as the projection is on a high level. It easily lasts 10 hours with a well perceptible projection - comparable to Ultra Male.


As a conclusion I can give that the fragrance is really well balanced, but unfortunately not really seems to be of high quality, so my feeling
